Chapter 2 - Tame Your Scap

The room stood in silence as the two boys sat on opposite sides of the room.

"Name?" Dominic asked.

"Boris," The boy answered.

"Age?"

"19,"

A sparkle flew into Dominic's eyes, he was one year younger than Boris.

"Skills?" Dominic asked.

Boris looked up locking eyes with Dominic. Defiance glowed in the golden rays trapped in his eyes. His sharp jawline clenched as he maintained eye contact, and slightly pink lips remained in a thin line of no emotion.

"No response?" Dominic grinned, he stood up from his chair and without breaking eye contact, slipped off his jacket to reveal a small but muscular frame, "spar me."

A flicker passes in Boris' eyes, "Sparing?" His velvety voice repeated.

Dominic nodded through his slightly pink cheeks. That voice is going to be a problem. Boris remained seated, his rough hands tightly gripping the zipper of the jacket he wore.

"Don't keep me waiting, it's hard to find someone to play with these days, especially someone my age," Dominic sighed, putting his jacket down on his couch. He looked up at Boris, eyeing his rough hands, "don't tell me you're scared?"

Boris looked up at Dominic, one of his thick eyebrows rising to the challenge. His golden eyes gleamed and a slight smile flashes across his face before darkness rests upon him again. Dominic flashed a bright smile noticing Boris' subtle answer to his sparring request. Slowly Boris stood up, then took off his jacket. Dominic looked away, then ashamed, turned back.

Boris stood taller than him, his skintone was deep creamy milk chocolate, making his golden eyes stand out against his smooth chocolaty skin. His body was toned, more muscular than slim in comparison to Dominic, and his curly jet black hair laid in a disorganized but fitting manner. He was remarkably handsome, with a perfect jawline and slightly thick lips and skin so smooth it appeared poreless.

His features were almost on par with Dominic but it was still visibly and socially below Dominic. His shirt was gray and wrinkled with holes here and there and his smooth skin had specks of dirt, most noticeable his rough hands.

After setting his jacket down, he looked up at Dominic.

"Catch," Dominic said, tossing him a sword.

Boris reached out, catching the sword. The hems were decorated with genuine gold, with tough leather and a silver carving of a shield on the end. But the sword, as pretty and elegant with sharp edges, was heavy, weighing down Boris' arms.

"They say a sword's weight shows how many lives it has taken," Dominic grinned, "I hope that is to your liking."

Before Boris could reply, Dominic lunged forward with his sword. Boris raised his sword to break the contact from the collision, but a glint of light passed and the route of the sword changed mid-swing, aiming at his head instead. In a split second Boris deflected it, landing in a tight hold with Dominic.

"Forgive me for the rude comment, but," Boris began, locking eyes with Dominic as they pressed their swords against each other, "you have really bad common sense. Handing a sword to a scrap, a worthless option with no background, with no one around you could get you killed." Boris lifted his sword from the hold bouncing back to avoid Dominic's swing.

There was a moment of silence between them, their eyes clashing against each other.

"A sharp mouth we have there, don't we?" Dominic smiled. "This is my palace, if I was killed in it then it shows how incompetent the people are and how much they feel like protecting me," he snickered, "heck, I wanna be killed sometimes too but I don't think you're the type to murder, amiright?" His body surged at Boris.

Boris leaned forward deflecting another move then in one smooth movement he rotated his sword, keeping Dominic's sword at its tips then struck the middle of Dominic's sword throwing it out of Dominic's hands. Dominic immediately let go and back-flipped kicking Boris' sword out of his hand.

With the swords thrown across the room, it was a battle of the fist. Dominic swung at Boris, surprised at his fast reflexes when he easily dodged it and grabbed Dominic's hand pulling it behind his back. Then using his leg, he swiped under Dominic's foot causing them both to fall with Boris on top. Boris' body pressed onto Dominic's keeping him pinned.. Dominic gasped on the ground beneath Boris, his warm body against his, keeping his hand tightly held behind his back and his face pressed into the floor.
