Chapter 26 - Felix
"No- I didn't want that, please forgive me, please give me the chance to ex-"
"Hahaahah," Boris chuckled in anger, "SHUT UP WITH YOUR FORGIVENESS BULLSHIT, forgiveness is not something for people like you who prey on healthy relationships to climb up your ladder. Shut up with chances, YOU HAD THEM, you had the chance to stop, to save yourself. To save your future, to save my future, to save me. But a deal with the devil, won't be with the devil if they weren't so appealing that they blinded you right?"
"I-"
"What I need to know is which one you are, the poor victim, or the devil himself,"
"I- no I would never do that," Felix begged a desperate shaken smile begged for forgiveness as he held on to Boris' feet, "please listen to me, forgive me."
"GET YOUR FILTHY HANDS OFF ME, I HATE YOU!" Boris screamed tears running down his cheeks as he kicked Felix away.
Felix looked up at Boris scared at what he had created, scared of what to come. Why didn't life come with a undo button?
"What do I need to do?" Felix bowed in front of Boris, "Should I become your slave? Devote my life to you? Be hitten to the point of death?"
"Give up," Boris sobbed his face looking down at the snake in front of him, "turn yourself in."
Felix looked up at Boris in surprise, "I-"
"Hahhahahaha," Boris laughed in anguish, betrayal biting down on his heart. He looked down at Felix, his eyes frozen with hatred and spite so deep, he felt sick from looking at Felix, "Pathetic."
Felix shivered.
"How disappointing to find a stone at the bottom of a pool and spend hours cleaning it to find black pyrite. Not only is it fake, but so ugly it's useless to keep by your side. When you are done acting like a victim and preying on my emotions, get out of my face, my life, my heart and never return. To think that I'd even waste my time hitting something like you, the only thing I'd gain is dirtying my hand,"
"Boris I-"
"Never mention my name out of your mouth again. Please just leave, I can barely keep my head afloat right now, the only thing I gain by keeping you by my side is attaching an anchor to my legs and pulling myself underwater to drown," Boris replied wiping off his tears, each one he removed, wiped away a memory he had of Felix, "please just leave before you kill me too."

Land stretched as far as the eye can see, and except the scrawny twig of a tree, nothing else could be seen but grass.
Dominic read over his papers again to keep him occupied, but the fragile sheets of paper had lost their charm after being read for the 30th time.
"Color…" Dominic thought out loud. He missed the streets of his kingdom, buzzing with activity from splashes of color moving around to complete their daily lives.
He would spend his quiet afternoons looking out the window creating stories for the people he saw, a girl who was recently bought new clothes, a boy who had been left behind by his friends, a widow being doted on by a bachelor, the chicken with 3 eggs about to be fried, heck even a princess or fairy could be on those streets. One day he would know every story he had pondered about in his kingdom. Then the soft aroma of his afternoon tea would drift up his nose tingling his nose to alert him of its arrival.
Dominic looked out the hole in his large tent. Now the only he could smell of the dryness in the air and the only tingles he felt was dust specks tickling his nose, luring him with the relief of a sneeze, just to disappear once again leaving his airway clogged. Everything he had thought he would wake up to was gone just like that and it seemed to be that last time he would see them. He wanted it back so bad, the colors of his kingdom, the scents of his fresh meals, even the sparring lessons he took. But the thing he missed the most was warmth. The sensation of light caressing his hair like a mother's touch, warm hands holding him tight, comforting him, a tall wall of protection that took all of the girls for him.. He missed Boris so much his heart seemed to bleed with pain.
