I. Important notice - about the adjustment of time

Since most readers have great opinions on the time, we decided to adjust the time and correct the current time from 1476 to 1483.

The specific reasons are as follows:

Originally, it was planned to describe the God Valley incident, so Darrow needed to reach the strength of a legendary pirate before the God Valley incident (1484).

Originally, it was planned to add a whole volume of plot before the New World chapter, and let Darrow fight against the Red Count to achieve a qualitative change in strength (fruit awakening or domineering color entanglement). Then the plot time of the original volume was about two or three years, plus the two or three years in the first half of the Grand Line, so the start time of this novel is 1476.

But if the time is 1476, Lu Jiu will be older (39 or 40 years old) when she is arrested. Readers have great opinions on this, so it is decided to adjust the time directly and cut some plots to make the main line more compact.

After the correction, there are the following advantages:

① Lu Jiu's age becomes younger, which is closer to the age shown in the comics.

② The job descriptions of some naval generals are closer to the comics. For example, Zephyr himself was promoted to admiral at the age of 38, and the time is about 1483. In Garp's description, Zephyr should be a little earlier than Sengoku, so the time fits.

③ The plot is more compact. After the end of the Departure Volume, it enters the first half of the Grand Line, and then collects partners and strengthens its strength along the way. After entering the New World, it is involved in the Valley of the Gods incident.

④Daro will be younger. In this way, when Luffy goes to sea, Daro's natural age should be in his early fifties. Note that it is "natural age". I already have a draft of the way Daro crosses the timeline and the plot arrangement. It will be a very amazing setting.

Because we need to describe the events in the Valley of the Gods, changing the time to 1483 is already the limit. If we change it further, we can only reduce Daro's age, but I don't want to write a pure cheating plot where the protagonist is a few years old and then beats Rocks violently. The protagonist's strength must be gradually improved.

① Why haven't you gone to sea after writing more than 80 chapters?

Answer: First of all, I don't want to write a story where the protagonist is invincible from the beginning. This certainly has its advantages, but there are also many corresponding defects, such as: I don't know how the protagonist's golden finger came from, and the logic is not self-consistent; I don't know why the protagonist went to sea, and the plot was driven by the system; there are basically no partners, or they became partners inexplicably, and there is no bond at all; in the early stage, the generals were killed instantly, and the combat power was easy to collapse in the later stage;

And what I want to describe is the story of a group of like-minded companions with different personalities going on adventures together.

At the same time, this article describes the pirate world of Roger's era that I envisioned: What is Rocks planning? ② Why must the protagonist be Lu Jiu's younger brother, or born in Roger's era, instead of the same era as Luffy?

A: The original intention of writing this story was because Luffy's fruit became the Nika fruit. This transformation made me a little disliked, because in my opinion, this Pirate King should be a magnificent adventure, not the destined path of a chosen son. (It doesn't taste that way anymore)
