Pokemon The Force

Chapter 12 - 12: Final

It's finally the day, the final day of this tournament. Crowds were already formed at the entrance of the stadium, waiting for the gate to be opened.

Soul was getting ready to leave with his mom and Prof. Oak. On the way out, they saw Ashley standing there and waited for them.

When she noticed them, she waved to them as they did the same. She walked over to Soul and gave him a handkerchief with a white-flame to the left and orange-red flame to the right. Seeing this Soul couldn't help but ask why she gave it to him.

Ashley: It's a lucky charm from me, I even made it with my own hands! For sure now you will win this tournament.

She winked at him with one eye closed and hearing this, Soul couldn't help but feel grateful and replied with.

Soul: Yeah, I feel like I can beat a legendary and mythical Pokemon now with this lucky charm, you gave me.

Ashley: Now, now, don't get c_o_c_ky, Soul. A legendary and mythical Pokemon is very-rare to come across, and they are very strong.

Soul remembered how he and his team had beat all the legendaries and mythical Pokemons in various Pokemon games as a Pokemon trainer, who just started their journey and they were mostly over hundreds, if not thousands of years old. And even further.

Soul: Heh, I'll visit you one day with a legendary or mythical Pokemon.

Ashley: Really?! Pinky promise?

Oak: Okay, okay, your two loving duos, this is Soul last battle and luckily, the girl will be his final opponent. I don't want to come late, so in the car, you go!

Mom: Yeah Soul, you can't just rush the relationsh_i_p_s like that so fast. You'll need to be patient with it and hold your hormones, don't be like your dad.

Hearing this they both yelled embarrassed.

Soul/Ashley: Mom!/Miss, Winterflame!

The a_d_u_l_ts couldn't help but laugh a bit before they went to the car, waiting for them at the entrance.

They all each took a seat in the car and Prof. Oak drove all of them to the stadium. Soul put the handkerchief in one of his pockets.

Soul: 'I should give her a farewell gift til we'll meet again.'

Some times later, they've all arrived at the stadium as Soul went into the lobby and saw his opponent sitting in the corner. She looked at him for a while before turning her head back.

He didn't say anything and just sat the opposite of the lobby and waiting for the signal. He didn't mind the silents, it gave him time to clear-off his mind and think of a way to beat her.

It was the highest level of this tournament besides Noibat and Anubis. With a level of nine and close to ten, she has the potential to become an elite-four or champion.

Looking at her carefully, he could see her beautiful white-jade skin. Her short white hair and grey eyes, shine brightly in the dark. She wore a simple white t-shirt with a black Pokeball logo all around it. She wore red trouse and black shoes.

???: Why are you looking at me?

She caught him staring at her, but she shrugs it off as she did the same when he came in.

Soul didn't change her expression and just reply with.

Soul: I'm just analysing my opponent, what's your name by the way? I'm Soul.

She seemed that she didn't care what he said and just respond with.

Opal: Opal.

Soul nodded at this as silence filled the room again, none of them says anything to each other until a sound came out of the speaker.

Announcer: Now let's welcome to our finalist!

Hearing their signal they both walked out of the lobby room to the arena. The air breezed around both of their hairs when they came out, making them looks more beautiful.

Crowds begin to cheers as they were discussing, who will win this battle. In this last fight, they are allowed to bet their money on who will win.

Half of the spectators betted on Soul, because of how strong his Noibat is. The other half betted on Opal as she was the number one genius in the Pokemon-school.

Both of them went to their sides of the arena and was opposite of each other. The judge came in and didn't say anything about the rules, as they already know about it.

Tim: Finalister, bring out your Pokemons!

Hearing this both of them threw their Pokeballs out as Noibat came out from Soul's Pokeball and Squirtle came out of Opal's Pokeball.

Both of them are releasing pressure on each other, but Noibat was clearly the dominance here since it was more powerful than Squirtle.

Seeing her Squirtle pressure didn't work and got counter, she became serious, as this would probably be her toughest fight yet.

She knew how powerful Soul and Noibat was, but she didn't plan to give up and studies countless nights to come up with a strategy to beat them.

She didn't know why, but she could feel a pressure on her and for the first time, she felt excited.

Tim: Let's the battle begins!
