Pokemon The Force

Chapter 28 - 5: Diary and the Artifact

When Soul opened the first page, he beings to read it in his thought.

'To whoever that found this diary, congrats for beating one of the guardian Pokemon. You have proven yourself to be worthy of the artifact, that was inside the c_h_e_s_t besides this diary.

Who am I, is not important, yet. Just know that, when you have read this page, I might already have passed away.

This artifact is something that would be bound to you until death comes to take you. That is because you made a blood contract with it when you poured your blood on the locker.

This artifact name is called, 'Greed Compass'. You might be confused about why it called by that name, that is why I would tell you right now so you don't be confused later on.

This Greed Compass has the ability to pinpoint the location of whatever it's owner d_e_s_i_r_e most. Wheater's it wealth, ladies, or whatever else one heart d_e_s_i_r_e most, it would pinpoint to the location.'

Soul was surprised by this. The Compass he received is not something to be taken lightly of if it could actually do something like that.

He took out the compass from the inventory and opened it. It looked like a normal compass except for the missing N that was supposed to be on the opposite side of S.

Soul quickly tested it as the compass needle quickly change its direction, as he moved it around until it was on the missing N location.

There it pinpoints the location of his Pokemons. It was what he d_e_s_i_r_ed most at the moment. He wanted to know the location of his Pokemons. Just to test it out, if it were true or not.

Looking at the next paragraph, he continues to read in his own thought.

'This artifact can't be used by others if the owner hasn't died yet. So be careful and don't tell this information to strangers.

Last time I did that I was hunted from regions to regions. It was a pain in the a_s_s for me to keep running with my old bones. So I hope you don't make the same mistakes as I did back then when I was alive.

The location of these items is unknown for almost every person in the whole world. Even those who tried to find it would need to spend a long time and money to do it. Not to mention failures.

So wheater it was by luck or you in the possession of the map I gave to one of my most trusted friends, I hope that you wouldn't use this artifact for bad purposes.'

No matter how you looked at it, this item is broken as hell! You want to find legendaries? The compass will show you the way.

Hey, you want that chicks? No problem the compass will also show you the way to win her heart over.

He wonders what other items would do. Would it be a weapon that purpose was only to destroy? What if some bad guy has one in their possession?

No, he can't let that happens. He doesn't know why, but he could feel that he should be the one who collects all of these artifacts.

It doesn't mean that he's a bad nor a good person. It was just because he wanted and that was something he has set on his heart. Maybe it's what humans called greed.

He called back his Pokemons and sent all of them except for Anubis back to their Pokeballs after he finished setting up his tent and went to sleep.

The next day, he did his normal routine with his Pokemons. When they were finished he called all of them back to their Pokeballs again except for Anubis and took out the compass.

Right now he didn't know where he is, so it was better to have the compass to show him the way.

He mentally thinks of Pewter City and that he wants to go there. After a few seconds, the compass needle begins to move around as he moved the compass around until it needle reached to where the word N was supposed to be at.

Walking for a few hours he finally arrived at the Viridian Forest again and put the compass back to his inventory.

This place is not only filled with Pokemons after all. He walked through the Viridian Forest as he was challenged by both Pokemons and trainers again.

He didn't mind it that much as the trainer would give him free money and experience to his Pokemons, where wild Pokemons would give his Pokemons more experience with a different type of Pokemons.

Finally arriving at Pewter City, Soul went first to the Pokemon Center where he rented a room for tonight and healed his Pokemons.

After that, he went around the city and resupplies his items. The sun would soon set down again so he went to make Pokemon foods outside of the city and to himself.

When they were finished eating, they went to train again. Soul was proud of how fast all of them have grown.

Anubis seemed to be close to evolution, even though normal Riolu would evolve when they have enough friendship with their trainer.

Anubis was another case, as he was a variant Pokemons. Most people would even doubt that he was a variant of Riolu.

Noibat was bigger and fast than what normal his kin should be, the same goes for Charmander and Eevee.

Family...

Maybe he should go and call his parents back home when he has beaten the Pewter Gym Leader, Brock.

Calling his Pokemons back, Soul went back to Pokecenter and went to sleep.
