Pokemon The Force

The next day, Soul got up and was ready to battle the Cerulean City gym battle. From what he knows, this gym used mostly water-type Pokemons which he could take advantage of.

This time, he would use Anubis to win against the whole gym. It would be unfair to him if Soul didn't let him have a battle against other trainers like some other Pokemons in his team.

Looking at his shadow, Soul smiles and walked to Cerulean Gym while enjoying the surrounding around him.

Walking in, he saw three girls doing some kind of water show. He didn't want to be rude and interrupt them so he decided to wait for them to be finished.

Finally finishing on what they were doing, they spotted a young boy at the entrance, staring at them.

The girl in indigo hair color was the first one to speak.

Violet: Hello, what are you doing here?

She asked him with a smile. Soul smiles back to her and replies with.

Soul: I'm here to challenge the gym.

Hearing this, Violet and the others seemed to be a bit disappointed, but try to smile and hide it.

Soul nodded and listened to what the rules are. He knew that all gyms have different types of rules, some do the tradition one vs one battle, where others set their own rules for challengers to follow.

Violet: You will battle each of us in one on one battle. We will each use one Pokemon, where you may use up to three Pokemons. The side who lose three battles will automatically lose.

Soul: Okay, I understand.

Violet then turns towards Lilly who was standing behind her along with Daisy.

Violet: Lilly, would you like to be the judge in my turn?

Lilly: Sure sister. What's your name and where are you from?

Soul: My name is Soul, I'm from Pallet Town.

She nodded as she and Daisy went outside of the arena, where Soul and Violet went to both of their sides.

Lilly: Ok, ahem... To the left side, we have one of the three gym leaders of Cerulean City, Violet. To the right, we have the challenger, Soul from Pallet Town. You have heard the rules already, so bring forth your Pokemons!

Seeing Anubis, the three sisters were surprised. They didn't know what kind of Pokemon in front of them is, which would put them at a disadvantage position if its an electric-type or know some moves that are effective against their water-type Pokemons.

Nevertheless, they must be on guard and hope for the best.

Lilly: Are both parties ready?

Both Soul and Violet nodded at this, Anubis was excited to this battle as it finally cam battle against a Pokemon, who was trained from a human-like his master.

Lilly: Then lets the battle begins!

As soon as the signal was given, Violet was the first one who made the first move.

Violet: Seel, use Headbutt!

Seel jumped down on the water and moved around the arena while looking for an opportunity to hit Anubis with a full strike.

Soul looked calmly at this and said.

Anubis disappeared from his destination and appeared at the edge of the arena ground, as electrics begins to form on one of his hands, as he quickly punches it on the water.

Before Violet could do anything, the Thunder Punch was already in touch with the water, as it spread out to its surrounding.

Seel who was still in the water couldn't escape from it, as it got hit hard by electrics on the water, and it fainted.

Lilly: S-Seel fainted, the winner of this match is the challenger, Soul, and the unknown Pokemon.

Said Lilly, who was shocked included her sister's by how fast this battle has ended and how Soul quickly took the advantage of his surrounding, when Seel dived down on the water.

Not to mention how powerful that Thunder Punch was. This trainer and his mysterious Pokemon are too powerful!

Soul: Good job, Anubis. Let's continue.

Violet: There's no need for that.

Hearing this, Soul was confused by what she meant by that, so he asked with her with a confused voice.

Soul: What do you mean by there's no need for that?

Violet: What I mean is, there's no need to continue this battle anymore. Seel is the strongest Pokemon we have currently in our possession and your Pokemon just beat it with one attack.

Suddenly Daisy walked down to him with a blue water drop emblem, which was the Cerulean Badge.

(The other Daisy and not Daisy Oak, if you wanna ask. I didn't even notice until now that there's two-person in the anime, manga, and game with the same name:v)

Anubis went back to Soul shadow and looked disappointed, Soul who saw this also sighed. He took the badge and put it in his badge collection, that he got from Professor Oak.

Then he started to walk out to the exit, the three sisters were about to go their way before a voice boomed in their head.

Soul: You can become strong. You just need to work hard for it and don't give up. It will pay you good, one day.

This made all of them stopped and silence took over. The only sounds one could hear were footsteps from Soul who was walking out of the gym.

Soul: 'Next stop, Vermillion City. If I remember correctly, isn't that the guy who beats up challengers Pokemons real bad? If so I'm going to have him a taste of his own medicine, heh-'

*Growl*

Soul: 'Don't worry stomach, I'm hungry, too. Let's go eat something good before we continue on our journey, yeah?'
