Pokemon The Force

The next day arrived as Mew looked gloomy, while Soul was eating his breakfast unconcern about it.

This was due to the punishment Soul gave it yesterday, after the 'incident.'

Finishing eating his breakfast Soul looked at Mew with an indifferent look.

Soul: Have you learn your lesson yet?

Mew nodded and rubbed its stomach, crying for Soul food.

Soul: Good, just don't do that kind of stuff again on me.

He knew that Mew won't completely listen to him, but at least it should consider it's action beforehand.

Walking over to the kitchen, Soul started to cook for Mew, who made cute happy noises.

When Soul was finished, he gave Mew it's food and walked out of the hut.

He walked over to find his next opponent at the registering post.

Arriving there, Soul got his opponent randomly by the computer, as he looked at when he would fight them.

Soul: 'Stadium 3, first match of the day.'

Soul: 'Milly, water, and flying Pokemon trainer.'

Finishing on looking at what he needed, Soul walked out of the room and went to the stadium 3.

Arriving there, he was greeted by a large amount of crowd.

It didn't really bother him that much anymore since he was getting used to it.

When it was his turn to battle, he walked to the battlefield only to not see his opponent anywhere.

He was not the only one to be confused by this, as everyone else in the stadium was.

Suddenly the commentator said something unbelievable.

Commentator: Due to contester Milly absent as she had to return back to her hometown to deal with her family problem, she would be regarded as the loser of this battle.

Hearing this the crowd became disappointed, as for Soul, he didn't say anything and left the arena.

Arriving there, he was greeted with a surprise Mew, who was looked a bit disappointed to see Soul arrive back so fast.

Soul: What? Are you seriously going to try and prank me again, Mew?

Soul asked as he chuckled to which Mew looked away.

Soul: I would go visit other places here in Pokemon Village League, would you like to join?

This time Mew nodded excitedly, as it sat on Soul's shoulder and turned invisible from n_a_k_e_d eyes.

Soul: Then let's go.

For the last morning, Soul, Mew, and Anubis went to different attractions here in the village.

There was an arcade to which Soul destroyed and took the prize easily.

It was some rare berries, that was hard to find in the wild.

The detail was not important, so let's skip it forward.

While walking, Soul came across an ice cream shop, where he could get a free ice cream per. day.

It was a hot day, so Soul looked at the menu and decided to order a banana split.

When he got his order, Soul went to find a free table to eat at.

He looked around and saw Opal sitting alone on a corner while eating ice cream cookies.

He walked over to her and asked.

Soul: Is this seat vacant?

Opal, who was focusing on her dessert didn't saw Soul until he said something.

She was surprised and start coughing because she was still eating, while Soul surprised her by his presence.

Soul quietly sat on the table with his dessert and said.

Soul: Sorry if I scare you right there.

Opal: It's fine.

Soul: How come you here so early? Did you lose or something?

He joked to which Opal replies with an annoying tone.

Opal: No, my opponent forfeits after I took down one of his Pokemon.

Soul: I see.

Opal: What about you? Did you 'lose'?

She asked the same question to which he replied casually.

Soul: Nah, my opponent had some family matter, so we didn't battle

Opal: Family, huh…

Her expression suddenly turned sad and colder than unusual.

Seeing this, he asked worriedly.

Soul: Is something wrong?

Opal: No, I'm fine, but I have lost my appetite. Goodbye.

She then stood up and walked away from the confused and worrying Soul.

Soul: '*Sigh* I shouldn't interfere so much with her business unless she wants to do something stupid, that could risk her life.'

He was worried about one of the few friends he has, but he didn't interfere and let her handle it herself.

After all, she already proves strong when Soul saw her fights in the tournament.

Soul: 'Maybe I could ask Ashley, she and Opal have been friends for a long time now.'

He noticed that his banana split was started to melt, so he quickly ate it, and also gave some to Mew.

He left the shop and went to a training field, where he sent out his Pokemons except for Shadow, as they all begin to train.

After that, Soul made special food for each of them with the berries, he won from the arcade store.

His Pokemon were surprised by the taste of their foods today and are it happily.

Mew also got some extra portion since it helped him getting the berries.

For the past two days, Soul has been training his Pokemon and hang out with his friends.

During their time hanging out, he noticed that Opal was more quiet than usual.

He didn't pry into it but tried to take her thoughts on others' place by inviting her to the conversation.

It seemed to be working a bit, but her mood we're still down.

Maybe he should just give her time to think about it.

When their two days break was done, the three of them got ready to advance fo top 16 and further beyond.
