Pokemon The Force

The next day, Soul got up and went to do his normal morning routine along with his Pokemon.

The sun has already risen and some of the Pokemons have awakened from their slumber to wander to find foods and others need.

He got ready and walked over to where the main stadium is. This time, they would be choosing their opponent by choosing a Magikarp, that have the same number as them.

Walking there, he was met with Ashley, Opal, and 13 other competitors. They all looked pretty tough, but nothing that Soul and his Pokemon can take care of.

They all greeted each other and talked for a while until they heard the judge talked, and gave them a signal to walk to the stage.

Walking there, Soul and the other trainers was met with loud cheering, as the crowd seemed to be bigger than usual.

Judge: Hello, in this and the future match, you would have to choose your opponent by picking up a random Magikarp with the same number. The battle rules are still the same until top 8.

Nodding, one by one, trainers chose a random Magikarp and Soul also picked one.

Luckily, none of his friends nor himself is going to fight against each other.

Having a battle in the second match, Soul waited down at the waiting room. He would have to fight someone named Tom.

After the first battle finished, it was finally his turn to fight.

Walking out of the waiting room and into the battlefield, Soul looked at his opponent as he did the same.

Judge: You all know the rules, three Pokemon each, the first to lose all of them lose. Now choose your Pokemon.

Throwing out both of their Pokeballs, Soul chose Charizard, where Tom chose Electrabuzz.

Even though Charizard has a type-disadvantage over Electrabuzz, it didn't mean he would

lose so easily because of it.

Judge: Then lets the battle begin!

The crowd cheered as both of them waited for their opponent to use the first move.

Tom was not patient as Soul, so he couldn't wait anymore and start the first move.

Tom: Electrabuzz use Thunder Shock!

Soul: Counter it with Flamethrower.

Electrabuzz sent out a powerful thundershock towards Charizard as he sent out flamethrower to counter it.

Both of the moves hit each other, but because of Charizard's mastery over the fire and his level were much higher than Electrabuzz, the thundershock got destroyed.

Shocked by this, Electrabuzz didn't have time to evade the attack as it was hit by a hot flamethrower, and was sent against the wall.

The reason for this was because Soul asked all of his Pokemon to not go all out in start until final.

He wanted to have the element of surprise and here it was. The more important element of surprise he has is the two Pokemon, that he hasn't used yet.

Judge: Electrabuzz is unable to battle! The winner of this match is Charizard!

Tom returned Electrabuzz to its Pokeball and sent out a Magmar.

This time, however, Soul was the one who made the first move since he has planned to end this battle as fast as possible.

Soul: Charizard uses Dragon Claw.

Tom: Magmar use Protect!

Charizard flew towards Magmar at a terrifying speed, as his two giant claws were ready to attack Magmar.

Magmar, of course, used Protect as it created a barrier to protect itself from the attack. But when the attack came in contract with Protect, it was immediately destroyed as Magmar was hit by Dragon Claw.

Feeling frustrated, Tom sent out his last Pokemon as a Rhydon came out from it.

Tom: Rhydon use Rock Blast!

Soul: Dodge the attack and get closer to Rhydon.

Charizard dodged the attack easily as he flew closer to Rhydon. Rhydon who saw that the enemy came closer was about to use Stone Edge when it felt that its body flew.

Tom widens his eyes when he saw Charizard grabbed Rhydon's body and flew up before slammed it down to the ground.

The impact of the attack created a large crater in the middle of the battlefield as Rhydon could be seen fainted.

Judge: Rhydon is unable to battle! The winner of this match is Charizard and Soul, who would advance to the next round!

Cheers and claps were heard, as Soul quickly returned Charizard to his Pokeball and walked out of the stadium.

When he got out of his stadium, he went to use his wheel-shoes as he skated his way to the city.

Mew, who was bored finally saw Soul walked in and circled him. When it got its eyes set on the mysterious bag Soul has it pointed at it curiously.

Soul: Oh, you're interested in what in the bag, huh? Well, let me show you.

He said with a grin as he took out a game console from his inventory and a video-game, he bought from the city game store.

It was a limited edition package that you could buy. If it was some other games, Soul wouldn't have bought it, but this was one of his most favorite game in the Pokemon world.

So, of course, he brought it, and luckily, it was one of the last ones the store has, so he was very lucky today.

Soul opened the package, and insert the game code along with getting other items and merchandise from the package.

The day went by the usual except for Soul and Mew played the online video-game in their free time.
