Primordial Dimensions

A group of four slim breezy scaled lizards and two bulkier earthy scaled lizards stood in front there glaring at him with bloodlust in his eyes.

Circulating mana within his lower body, Shane reached a breathtaking speed with his first stride towards the group of six scaled lizards.

Shane estimated that the distance between each other was around forty meters, which would take no time for him to charge through if they were no obstacles.

From his estimation, Shane thought that the slim breezy scaled lizards would be faster than the fiery scaled lizards, as their affinity was the wind affinity in addition to their slim body.

With that in mind, the breezy scaled lizards were faster, yet probably weaker in strength, while their wind affinity was most likely capable to manifest wind blades.

As for the earthy scaled lizards, Shane predicted that they were stronger compared to the fiery scaled lizards but slower, while they could most likely use their earth affinity to call earth spikes out of the ground or from an earth wall, which were the most common attacks used by elemental beasts at the basic dimension.

This information wasn't confirmed yet, but it was better to be safe than dead and Shane decided to be careful around unknown opponents.

Most beasts with higher affinities liked to use them in an exaggerated manner as it looked glorious, elegant, and beautiful in their eyes.

This was probably because lizards liked treasure the same as dragons from earth's fairy tales without exception.

Wasting no time Shane used feints to make it seem as If he was about to charge straight into them with his high velocity only to stop midway to change his direction.

A moment after he adjusted his directions, Shane noticed multiple earth spikes and wind blades crashing into the area he was a second ago.

From the velocity and might, the elemental attacks utilized, Shane figured out that the breezy scaled lizards most likely used less mana than the earthy scaled lizard.

This could be easily calculated as dozens of wind blades were shot out at the same time while only four earth spikes were targeted at his previous spot.

The wind blades were much weaker in their output but extremely fast while the earth spikes were both fast and mighty.

Nevertheless shooting out elemental long-range attacks for a long interval would exhaust wild stage beasts with their small mana pool extremely fast which was Shane's plan for the moment.

Gathering information for his current fights while exhausting his opponents.

With Shane's fighting experience he accumulated over the last weeks and the years before, it couldn't be considered impossible for him to predict where the long-range attacks would land as he observed the movements of all scaled lizards carefully.

It was straining for him to do so but he felt alive and the pressure the countdown provided increased the adrenaline in his body even more making him feeling ecstasy.

Evading the masses of wind blades and earth spikes, Shane couldn't evade every hit and shallow cuts on his skin could be seen as he slowly adjusted to the high-velocity wind blades in addition to the mighty earth spikes that were shot towards him.

Not even a full minute passed when Shane could already tell that the breezy scaled lizards were exhausted and drained of their mana, while the larger earthy scaled lizards took a few deep breaths.

If the scaled lizards worked together, they would most likely be able to exhaust Shane and kill him in the end, but that wasn't possible anymore.

He still felt full of energy, because he used minute movements in order to avoid the elemental attacks.

Circulating his mana within the lower body to enhance his speed by a minuscule amount, he appeared in front of the first breezy scaled lizard.

Thrusting out with his dagger, he felt a large surge of mana fluctuations around him, causing him to step back half a step when a one-meter tall earth layer wall erected out of the ground in front of the breezy scaled lizard.

Shane didn't allow himself to be distracted as he immediately changed his target towards the two earthy scaled lizards nearby the breezy scaled lizard and his charge towards his opponents continued, without anyone hindering him.

Appearing between both earthy scaled lizards, Shane's high velocity caused his two opponents to be overwhelmed as he sensed another surge of mana fluctuations below him.

Even if the earthy scaled lizards were slightly larger compared to the fiery scaled lizards with a height of roughly forty centimeters, it was nothing difficult for Shane to jump over the earthy scaled lizard not without forgetting to thrust his dagger towards its back while twisting his body into an uncomfortable position.

While he was jumping through the air, he pulled out the dagger with a forceful move, causing the light wound to tear open turning it into a rather serious wound, enough to kill it in a few minutes.

It had been long since he was forced to attack someone while twisting and observing everything around him carefully in order to prevent anything from killing him, which caused a slight trace of joy to emerge within him.

Umbra couldn't understand his joy, because it was thrown around, barely being able to stay with Shane, without being able to help in any way.

Stumbling to the ground, he only felt the ground around him shaking as he pushed himself from it before a breezy scaled lizard appeared below him.

Even though Shane was ecstasy, this fight was really annoying, frustrating him to an unbearable degree, when he kicked out with his leg towards the breezy scaled lizard below him.

Oddly enough the breezy scaled lizard was blown away almost three meters which shocked Shane slightly before he began to gather the information he received and comprehended.

He had the same feeling against the fiery scaled lizards, but each kind of the scaled lizards was extremely weak while their affinity was a contrast with its essential high degree.

Now that two earth walls decorated the battleground around him, Shane noticed that the earthy scaled lizards couldn't shoot earth spikes at him anymore because they were gasping for air, while the injured one looked as if it would die any moment.

The breezy scaled lizards were fast but weak in all other aspects while Shane was still faster than them by a marginal degree.

As such, he appeared in front of the closest breezy scaled lizards before he thrusted out with his shiolite dagger.

The breezy scaled lizard in front of him was either brave or naive as it tried to deflect Shane's tier-1 shiolite dagger with its maw as it bit into it, only to notice that this move was more than a little bit foolish.

Piercing through the breezy lizard's mouth, the shiolite dagger didn't stop halfway and penetrated the neck, where it stuck out.

Pulling his dagger out with force, the breezy scaled lizards collapsed on the ground, as Shane turned around with his ice-cold black eyes piercing straight into the remaining opponents.

With an emotionless voice, he issued

"Warm-up is over you bastards!" as he exerted the remaining mana within him through his mana veins to strengthen his complete body, he charged at the five opponents in front of him with killing intent filling his eyes while a faint smile covered his face.
