Richard glances at Jin-ah over the paper he was reading. Her dark brown eyes widened in surprise.

Then, as if trying to hide her surprise, she gave a conscious smile.

Eugene.

Note: Her name to people who don't know her true origin

'I got to know her three years ago'

It was he who sent a strange-looking woman who had fallen unconscious to the temple. He questioned her identity, but the only answer he got back from the Order was that a trainee priest from the Eastern Continent had gone astray.

Her black hair and dark brown eyes were very rare. Additionally, her bizarre dress and belonging were found nowhere else in the Eastern Continent, let alone Balta.

There might be something else.

Something that even the Temple hides.

Clearly, his gut was telling him something.

'And it is never wrong.'

Richard observed her again.

'What is she hiding?'

When they made eye contact, Jin-ah spoke.

[Jin-ah]: Your Highness, if there are any deficiencies, I will correct them again.

[Richard]: No need.

'You seem used to getting things done. Hasn't it been just three months?

Even though she had just started working here, Jin-ah was doing her best in her job without a single mistake.

'You're doing something I didn't even tell you to do. I'm sure Raymond only ordered the transcription.'

[Richard]: Have you done this before?

[Jin-ah]: Being in the Order, I've only helped out a little bit.

[Rochard]: You're pretty good at that.

[Jin-ah]: Thank you, Your Highness.

'You're lucky that Raymond injured his arm. Otherwise, there would have been no excuse to hold on to this.'

He emptied the remaining tea. Just in time, there was a knock on the door.

[???]: Excuse me, Your Highness.

It was the voice of the aide, Raymond.

[Richard]: Come in.

[Raymond]: Your Highness, it's time for you to enter the meeting.

Avoiding his eyes, he saw Raymond glaring at Jin-ah. As Richard was about to step out of the door, he stopped in his tracks.

[Richard]: Raymond, are you still unhappy with what I've decided?

[Raymond]: Oh no, Your Highness. Please forgive me for my disloyalty.

At the sound of the prince's voice, Raymond lowered his head deeply, as if embarrassed.

[Richard]: Let's go.

He stepped away and Raymond hurriedly followed. As they walked out the door, Richard pulled out a piece of paper he had kept in his hand and handed it to him.

[Raymond]: Your Highness, what is this?

[Richard]: See it for yourself.

Raymond, who had been examining the contents of the note, spoke up.

[Raymond]: I think you need to check for sure. Who's doing this.....

[Richard]: The woman you hate found it. Isn't that fun?

Raymond's face crumples at Richard's words.

[Raymond]: Yes? You joke too much.

[Richard]: Who knows?

[Raymond]: Could she be a spy?

[Richard]: Probably not. Are your arms ok now?

[Raymond]: Yes, Your Highness. Thank you for your attention.

The sound of the footsteps of the two men filling the hallway disappeared into the distance.

[Jin-ah]: What the hell are you thinking?

In anxiety, Jin-ah paced around the room. He had never called her out except for work.

It's also a meal you would never want to go with.

[Jin-ah]: Did I make any mistakes? No.....Obviously, if I made a mistake, my cute little head would have been separated from my body in two pieces.

Ha ha.

She shuddered in fear.

[Jin-ah]: It's just a prize for doing a good job. Right, right?

No matter what she imagines with the prince's personality, there is no hope in sight. Jin-ah ruffled her hair in frustration.
