Purple Dawn Till Dusk : dearest trough the time

"Better?" Xiao Tianyao asked Senja who stared at him. She nodded.

"Get up" Xiao Tianyao held her elbow to help her stand up as Senja moved her legs that weren't hurt anymore she stood up while holding on his front robe. He didn't brush Senja hand away when Senja grabbed his robe instead he was attentively help her to steady her step.

Xiao Tianyao kept on holding her elbow and waist, and when she could stand more stable, he slowly released his grip then walked away.

Senja followed him silently, although her legs weren't hurt anymore but to keep up with Xiao Tianyao's large stride it was quite an effort, their steps were completely out of sync.

Moreover Senja was too tired to jog after him that was why she just walked in her pace, she still remember the way back to the Carnation Resort so she let him to walk far in front of her. Although Xiao Tianyao didn't carry her but, for him to came back and check on her was already something that Senja couldn't imagine.

However to her another surprise, Xiao Tianyao actually stopped and waited for her while leaning his tall body on the nearest tree, he seemed bored and impatient but didn't make a single comment.

Senja's slow pace really challenged Xiao Tianyao's patience, but to think about what she had gone trough and her sad expression before made him to swallowing his annoyed words. He had get used to her brusque schemed and her fake tears however when he saw her earlier, she didn't cry and no pretense, she just a girl with helpless expression without any idea what she would do, like she had lost all her wits and guts.

He despised the delicate and manipulative Senja from years ago or that scheming and spoiled Senja this past month but he really didn't like her previous helpless expression the most. It reminded him of the first time he saw Luna.

Xiao Tianyao started to walk again when Senja had arrived in front of him, but this time he keep his pace just a step away ahead from her.

Xiao Tianyao accompany Senja until her room door, she occupied her previous room that was beside Xiao Tianyao's study. When she arrived, almost all the places in the Carnation Resort had been clean up, the traces of the earlier battle no longer visible.

Senja pulled out the secret letter and gave it to Xiao Tianyao wordlessly. He looked at the secret letter that he thought had lost for a few second before he received it.

"I will be in the next room" Xiao Tianyao said before he closed the door and walked to his study room for waiting to receive completed report about what had happened.

He went away from the Carnation Resort because he was received a report from Yang Yu who had gone to the fortress first and had been following Doctor Hong, he found out that Doctor Hong wasn't on his post at the treatment tent in the Fortress instead he was in L City District 9 and tried to flee.


The moment Doctor Hong gave Xiao Tianyao diagnosis about the cause of Gu Xie death he called Doctor Lin right away to came back from her duty on L City hospital and re-diagnose Gu Xie death body, there was no harm in looking for a second opinion. However he hadn't received the report yet when Senja told him about the poison that the intruder made Gu Xie to swallow it.
