"What the hell deduction!" Marty was a little surprised by what Kurt said. Whose wind can blow up such a thick floor, and there is no wind here.

"What do you think is inside?" Horton asked everyone.

"Would you like to go down and have a look?" Jules suggested. "Dinah, this is your big adventure."

Dinah was a little scared looking at the dark cellar, but finally walked in slowly.

Slowly walking into the cellar, Dinah asked, "How long will I stay here?"

"It will be fine tomorrow morning." Cellar Surgeon said.

"Ah!" Dinah suddenly let out a scream, and Horton, who heard Dinah's scream, hurried into the cellar.

"Are you okay, Dinah." Holden asked with concern.

"I'm fine, I'm just scaring myself," Dana responded.

"You lost, you called for help. So take off your shirt." The others followed Holden down, and Kurt joked as he looked at Dinah, who was safe and sound. And Marty lit an old kerosene lamp.

"what?"

"The rules are not set by me."

While Dinah was talking with Kurt, the others noticed the scene in the cellar. Countless odd-shaped things were placed in the cellar, which looked extremely messy.

"See what this is all about?" Holden said.

"Hey, guys, I don't think it's a good idea to come down." Marty was a little scared and worried about his natural spirituality, but the others ignored him.

Chapter 5 Do it or die

"Man, to be honest, your cousin's collection is a bit weird." Holden said to Kurt with a flashlight.

Strange Japanese-style doll masks, music boxes, instruments of torture, iron maidens, Buddhist altars, wedding dresses, all kinds of things are placed in a mess in the cellar, and there is a certain pattern in the complexity.

"I'm sure, these are definitely not my cousin's collection." Kurt said, looking at the things in the cellar. "Maybe it's the collection of that freak I met on the road."

"These things look old." Dinah stroked an old dresser and picked up a diary from it.

"It's so beautiful." Jules stopped in front of a wedding dress stand. Although the wedding dress was a bit old, Jules couldn't put it down because of the necklace on it.

Kurt picked up a conch and wanted to blow it, but after trying it, he picked up another object that looked like a super old copper ball.

"I think we should go up." Marty was a little creepy, following his inner feeling, he put forward his opinion again. "I bet you dare not go upstairs!"

But still ignoring him, Horton opened a wooden box, and a doll of a little girl dancing ballet stood up.And Marty's attention was also attracted to an old projector, constantly dialing the film tape.

Everyone seemed to be possessed, Holden turned the ballet figure, Jules picked up the necklace and hung it around his neck, Kurt tried to open the brass ball, and Marty pulled out the tape.

But Dinah was the first to finish. She had opened the notebook and read the diary in it.

"Guys!" Dinah's words brought everyone out of their obsession.

"Hey, guys. Listen to this." Dinah began to read from her diary.Everyone stopped their actions one after another.

"On April [-]th, Papa lost his temper with me, saying I lacked true faith. I hoped to prove my integrity. Like Judas and Matthew did to the travelers..."

"What's that?" Jules asked curiously.

"The diary of Anna Patience Berkner in 1903," Dinah read after glancing at the signature.

"Mum screamed almost every night and I prayed she would find faith, but she stopped when Dad cut open her belly and stuffed it with coal. Judah told me in a dream that Matthew took him to the dark room , I just found out that he was killed."

"I also want to feel the glory that comes from pain like Matthew, but cutting flesh will make him erect, but I don't get that kind of excitement."

"God, don't read it, will you?" said Marty, disgusted.

"No, keep going." But Kurt, who was quite interested, asked Dinah to continue, and Dinah, who aroused interest, followed Kurt's advice and continued reading.

"Why?" Matty asked, puzzled.

But Kurt ignored him and just said, "I don't know, but I think."

Dinah read on. "I found a way to save my family from an ancient book. The arm I used was cut off. I hope you can understand my writing. There will be believers reading the following words to pay homage to our souls."

"We will be born again and bring back the unending pain of the world."

"Next is a paragraph of Latin." Dinah said shruggingly.

"Okay, let's end here. Don't read those Latin words anymore." Marty said a little panting.

"Read on," said an erratic voice suddenly, startling Marty, but Dinah had already read on.
