Yet, all these thoughts rushed out of his mind when he felt Hu Lana's gentle peck against his rearing tip.

"Oh," Xie Xan couldn't help but grunt, his cheeks clenched as he tried his best not to shoot out all his frustration at once.

"That's what happens when you tell others your weak spot," Hu Lana brushed her dark locks aside and giggled, her eyes tracing the fiercely twitching tip with a clear and viscous liquid already gathered on the tip. Although she gulped, a little frustrated, as she parted her lips, her warm breath almost making Xie Xan lose all his control, and slid the used and sloppy penis into her mouth, even she couldn't help but blush fiercely.

If someone walked in such a compromising position then...

Hu Lana agreed instantly as she shoved the hard shaft into her mouth, her hands resting on his thighs as the forceful motion and her warm and soft tongue attacking his tip instantly made him crumble, and finally, he let out jets of off-white cum while Lana's body quivered. "Silly, did you think I also don't want you to catch up with me? I would never insult you by deliberately stalling my cultivation," Hu Lana's nose soured slightly while her eyes glazed, "But you don't have to lie about it either. Didn't I already say that I would be the controller and only you will be the attacker? Isn't our special technique already a proof of that?"

The more she spoke, the more emotional she felt as Xie Xan was about to comfort her by lowering his lips. However, recalling where her mouth had been a few breaths ago, he changed the direction smoothly and kissed her forehead.

"I know. I just felt... so blocked at the time. But you know, taking that little risk made me realize that all of this... I'm selfishly doing it to stay close to you."

"Little risk?" Hu Lana raised her voice with a frown before she agilely sat on Xie Xan's chest and held the tip of his nose, "Your body bursting in blood isn't little risk! The next day, facing the terrible expression of their companions, Hu Lana and Xie Xan didn't dare release any sound and silently followed Bibi Dong out of the forest where they donned their masks once again. Product of man and beast till its third generation will be considered a beasttaken.

But how can genetics be so easily destroyed by mere lust?

Out of all the spirit beasts, there are three prominent species that have sired beasttakens since ancient times.

Stormwind Wolves seeds Wolftakens.

Earthly Swamp Bears seeds Beartakens.

And Fiery Man-headed Serpents seeds Snaketakens.

Beasttakens themselves are spirit beasts, just a dangerous branch of it. Beasttakens have the abilities of their bestial parentage and the instincts of a human to reproduce and survive. None of them actually look human but a mix of man and beast and their deaths will not reveal spirit rings. However, just like spirit beasts, they have the ability to leave Spirit Bones, and just like humans, they have the ability to absorb spirit bones.

So three different species of Beasttakens cooperating and attacking did give many spirit masters a reason to doubt that a conspiracy was afoot. After all, two different tribes of Beasttakens would have slaughtered each other at the sight to reap benefits.

The existence of Beasttakens also proved that the world wasn't black and white: Two extremes. There are constant discoveries that conflict with the cultivation theories of Spirit Beasts and Spirit Masters. But these problems couldn't be solved even to this date. Why couldn't Beasttakens leave spirit rings? Why can they only leave but also absorb spirit bones? Why can't they also obtain martial souls?

Such questions have troubled many capable and experienced Spirit Masters pondering upon the existence of such products of life.

"Ka-ul, your martial soul may calm them down, right? Out of the three beasttakens, Wolftakens are the most lustful, Beartakens are the most raging, and Snaketakens are the greediest. "It's possible," Ja Sun shrugged as he looked thoughtful under his mask, "But I also think that the more intelligent a species is, the more troubling it will be to appease them."

And it was a public fact that the survival of Beasttakens meant leaving future trouble that might just end one's own loved ones in the cruelest manner.

Dragon Rising City.

One of the most important border cities of the Star Luo Empire was now fashioned to host multiple Spirit Masters, the city's defenses now increased to the maximum while rogue spirit masters would either hunt Beasttakens cautiously or other spirit masters alike.

Ja Sun sighed and looked at the group of unconscious and stripped bandits. Tying the four spirit masters up, out of which, only one was a rank 23 Spirit Grandmaster while everyone else had yet to attain their second spirit ring, he pulled the longer side of the robe and dragged the four middle-aged men back to the camp.

"I brought back bait," he called out. The encampment consisted of a rather strange tent that would be overlooked at a glance and if Ja Sun didn't know the location already, he, too, would have missed it.

The entrance of the triangular tent was zipped open and Xie Xan peeked his head out, "That was quick."

"Well, knocking opponents out is my specialty," Ja Sun shrugged and let go of the rope while Xie Xan found the four men in their underwear.

"Ah Yin, you were right. Ka-ul did strip them down," Xie Xan looked back as Ja Sun entered the barely equipped tent.

2 days have passed since the group left the Star Dou Great Forest and now, all of them were situated close to Dragon Rising City. Why they didn't enter the city itself? Because the group had a substantial bounty on their heads even if they were part of the spirit hall. Since this bounty was privatized to the specialists and not made public, the situation was all the more dire for them. Of course, there were ways to bypass the problem entirely and enter the city but it was a temporary solution so using Ah Yin's domain to conceal their presence was a far better solution. Entering the city would only be the last resort.

"You cannot expect to rob someone while not preparing to be robbed yourself," Ja Sun shrugged and sat down. The tent itself was placed in a rather hidden spot in the forest discovered by Olivia and Caihong and the nearby spirit beasts fled instinctively the moment Ah Yin and Bibi Dong released their domains.

The tent was quite big since this was going to be the group's base for a little while and as usual, to not have more sleepless nights, Bibi Dong made sure that everyone remained within a single tent unless it was to cultivate. Cultivation, after all, can be more private than one's love life at times.

"Did you find out anything?" Bibi Dong inquired. Since Ja Sun had elected himself to be the scout, then Bibi Dong felt that he must have some form of assurance to get information regarding the situation.

"Well," Ja Sun sat down with a frown, "I happened to find these four near a destroyed village. There aren't any settlements close to the Great Forest but this one was. Most possibly, a bandit base with all the arms left bloodied on the ground. The smell and dried blood suggest that the village was razed two-three days ago but nothing was stolen aside from a few lone spirit masters scavenging on it. There should be a beasttaken settlement nearby and most likely, it should either be Wolftakens or Beartakens."

Since Snaketakens usually arrive with licks of flames and even burn settlements due to their attributes, only these two remaining tribes were possible.

"Wolftakens have sharper and long-ranging attacks," Bibi Dong frowned. Her tone implied that such an obvious clue should be easy to find and allow them to realize the nature of the beasts nearby.

"Of course," Ja Sun leaned back and let out a heavy tone, "There were a few huts sliced off cleanly but the ground was damp, too."

Saying this, Ja Sun waved his hand and brought out a small ball of mud from his storage essence and let it hover on his palm, carefully controlled by his spirit energy.

"Maybe a mutation?" Ah Yin inquired.

"It's possible," Ja Sun threw the mud out, the ball landing on one of the unconscious man's face accurately before Ja Sun looked towards Bibi Dong with a bright smile, "Or maybe two different tribes of Beasttakens are working together. That seems more interesting than a mutation. Two tribes who would tear each other at a mere sight working together for some reason..."

Ja Sun's grim yet amused tone made everyone feel a little chilly.

"Don't joke around," Hu Lana smiled nervously.

"I'm not," Ja Sun shrugged, "Come on, I did find a trail. Let's get moving."

"Who made you the leader?" Liu Erlong scoffed as Ja Sun suddenly shivered.

"Huh?" He looked back with a weird expression and inquired, "Did I say I'm the leader? I'm the scout. Scout."

Others failed to simply understand what was going on in Ja Sun's head at the moment. But seeing the strange, weirdly disturbing expression on his face, and recalling his record of stating unholy stuff as if the most casual thing, others didn't dare ask either.
