"Master Bai, I can't say much because I am forbidden to say anything by the rule that you've created. But I will keep assisting you in this world. You can call me anytime you want if you need help to fight, or if there is—"

"BAI GEGE! BAI GEGEEEE!"

Their conversation stopped when they heard a scream and continuous punch on the stone door. Baishe and Yunyu glanced at each other, and they both had the tacit understanding, "Is that Master Han's soul in this world?" Baishe asked.

"Yes, his name is Han Shun," Yunyu replied. "Look, he is not supposed to know about my origin, at least not now since I'm still on the mission. So I'd want you to call me as my name in this world, Bai Shijue. Pretend that we're old friends, just like this, but that's because I've known you when you're residing in the immortal realm, okay?"

"Certainly, Master," Baishe agreed upon the request since it was an order from her creator.

"Oh, you should know that he is very willful and stubborn because he is only 14 years old this year. Just make sure that you'll get used to it."

"Most of Master Han's souls are pretty similar, Master Bai. I know how to handle them," Baishe responded.

"Good, now open the cave," Yunyu said.

**

Han Shun kept punching the stone until the stone was painted red with his blood. He kept calling Bai Gege's name as well. He didn't care about his fingers that were probably crushed right now.

His eyes were red. He was on the verge of crying because he kept thinking that Bai Gege must've died inside.

But magically, the stone suddenly shook and slid down, showing a dark with a light at the end.

Han Shun didn't think twice and charged straight to find Bai Gege inside, "Bai Gege! Bai Gege!"

When he reached the end of the tunnel, he saw a huge and bright cave illuminated by dozens of white eggs that shone, and Han Shun saw Bai Gege looking at him with a big white snake floating behind him.

"BAI GEGE!" Han Shun rushed towards Bai Gege, and Bai Gege smiled at him.

He wanted to hug Bai Gege right now, but first, he had to kill that floating white snake. That thing must've hurt his Gege.

Han Shun stood in front of Bai Gege and used his body to shield Bai Gege from the white snake.

"Bai Gege, get behind me! I will kill this white snake!" Han Shun said. He clenched his bloodied fists and glared at the white snake. "Dare to move, and I will kill you!"

Baishe and Bai Shijue looked at the stubborn and hostile Han Shun.

Bai Shijue sighed and patted Han Shun's head, "Why do you keep punching the stone door? Is there something wrong outside? Didn't I tell you to hide if there is a danger?"

"No, I'm fine, Gege. But you are not fine!" Han Shun insisted. "I feel the earthquake for 10 seconds! I thought you'd been crushed to death in this cave!"

"I am fine. It's just the sign of the white snake's revival," Bai SHijue said. He introduced Han Shun to the white snake in front of them;

"She is a female snake, her name is Baishè, the Pearl Snake. She is my old friend and also the one who guarded this mountainous area against any external invasion."

Baishe lowered her head to pay respect, "Welcome to my lair, Master Bai Shijue's disciple. I am Baishe, the Pearl Snake."

Han Shun was still worried that the white snake would hurt Bai Gege, so he didn't lower his guard at all.

Bai SHijue sighed and grabbed Han Shun's wrist, "Look at what you did. You just crushed your fingers!" Bai SHijue scolded. "You should be more ashamed with your uncontrollable nervousness. It's really not good to take a rash decision that would end up hurting yourself."

"Bai Gege, how can I stay calm and rational when you're in danger?!" Han Shun tried to defend himself. He was in the wrong here for disobeying Bai Gege's order, but that was because he was scared of losing his Bai Gege.

"I will never be in danger. I am an immortal!" Bai SHijue raised his voice. No matter how many times he reminded Han Shun that he was invulnerable because he was an immortal, Han Shun still continued to worry about his safety.

"Stay still. I will heal your wound!" Bai SHijue said. He took out a talisman. Of course, he couldn't use curing art to fix Han Shun's bones, but he could use a media like a paper talisman that was less effective but still worked anyway.

"Master Bai, you can just dip your disciple's hand in the lake. It will automatically heal him," Baishe said.

"Oh, that's perfect!" Bai Shijue forcefully pulled Han Shun to follow him, then he dipped the fists into the cold lake.

Han Shun shivered from head to toe when he felt water as cold as frozen winter ice. But his hand magically healed, and he felt the pain no more. In less than 10 seconds, the horrifyingly bloodied hands had returned back to normal.

Han Shun and Bai SHijue were surprised by the effectiveness of the lake. Bai Shijue looked at Baishe and asked, "Did you use your power to heal my disciple?"

"Yes, Master Bai, is it my responsibility to heal him since he is your disciple," Baishe said. "And he seems to be a good kid, although very stubborn and rash as well."

Han Shun glared at the white snake fearlessly. He didn't care if anyone slandered him, but if he got slandered right in front of Bai Gege, then he didn't like it.

Because he didn't want Bai Gege to see him in a bad light.

"Well, you're not wrong. This kid is seriously rash and always do anything with his emotion. He needs to cultivate in peace, maybe somewhere without any distraction," Bai Shijue said.
