"The face I use in the mortal realm is a face I borrowed from someone. It's not my real appearance, and nobody should know about it, including you," Bai Shijue explained. "Because there have been too many people getting crazy because they saw my real face, I don't want to hurt anyone, so I have to cover it."

Han Shun felt the image he had built about Bai Gege for such a long time was shattered instantly. He thought he knew Bai Gege really well and felt their intimacy.

But turned out that Han Shun didn't even know Bai Gege's real face!

"Well, we should be leaving now, Han Shun. Hold my hand."

"…"

Han Shun was a little upset that he didn't know such an important thing as Bai Gege's face. It made him wonder what kind of secret Bai Gege hid aside from his real appearance.

Since Bai Gege had lived for centuries as an immortal, that meant he had a lot of things going on in his life before he met Han Shun.

Bai Shijue realized that Han Shun was upset but decided not to pry on it.

[Pupa: He is upset because he doesn't know your real face.]

[Well, that's fine. I'm scared he might not be able to focus on his training if he saw my real face in the immortal realm.]

Bo Pengfei led Bai Shijue to the Plum Blossom Immortal Sect.

Han Shun looked around as he flew and realized that he had already entered a realm with flowers blooming everywhere.

The forest was lush with blossoming trees and ripe fruits, and there was a sweet smell lingering in the air.

"This is the domain of our sect. We call it the Realm of Justice and Harmony," Bai Shijue explained.

[Geez, the name can't be more righteously generic than this one. I wonder who would give it such a bland name.]

[Pupa:…]

"Bai Gege, were you born in this place?"

"I'm not sure either, but I'm sure I've lived in this place for so long. I've been cultivating for centuries— no, almost a millennia ago. So I can't recall much unnecessary stuff."

'But your childhood is not an unnecessary stuff,' Han Shun thought. He found it strange that Bai Gege had no recollection of his childhood as if he was just appeared and lived as this version of Bai Gege since this world was created.

Bo Pengfei led them to the main hall of the sect. Once they landed, the first thing that Han Shun saw was hundreds of people kowtowing upon their arrival.

"Welcome back, Master Bai!"

Bai Shijue frowned when he saw this greeting. He looked at Bo Pengfei with a dismissive gaze, "Didn't I tell you not to do this when I arrive? Worshipping me will not give you anything."

"Pardon me, Master Bai. But everyone is just so excited to hear that you'll be returning. They are all ready to welcome you like this," Bo Pengfei said. "I told them not to do this because you don't like it, but they insist…."

Bai Shijue sighed. He looked at hundreds of immortal cultivators kowtowing to him, "Fine, get up, all of you."

The immortal cultivators, from old to young, slowly rose from their kowtowing position and sat on the ground, still looking down as they dared not look at Master Bai.

Han Shun watched them one by one, and even by their aura, Han Shun already knew almost all of them were high-level cultivators that could fight him toe to toe.

Han Shun also realized that half of these cultivators could definitely smack his ass in a fight so hard that he wouldn't be able to fight after more than 5 minutes.

Yet, they were all worshipping Bai Gege as if he was a god. It made Han Shun wonder what kind of power Bai Gege truly had.

"Pengfei, everything is alright while I'm gone, right?"

"Yes, Master, everything is under control."

"Good," Bai Shijue glanced at Han Shun, who was standing beside him, staring at the cultivators worshipping Bai Gege right now.

Bai Shijue patted Han Shun's shoulder and announced, "This young man is my disciple. His name is Han Shun."

Everyone's eyes darted at Han Shun instantly. Han Shun wasn't scared because he knew that he was unbeatable with the help of God Han Ye.

But he noticed a few hostile gazes from the cultivators, especially those with a very strong foundation. They seemed to be hostile to Han Shun because of Bai Gege's preferential treatment. In other words, they were jealous.

"I want you to teach him well since he comes from the mortal realm," Bai Shijue said. "I will leave now with Han Shun. Continue with your training."

"Yes, Master!"

Bo Pengfei guided Bai Shijue and Han Shun to their courtyard. Bai Shijue had his own courtyard. It was surprisingly similar to the one he had in the mortal realm, complete with a single plum blossom tree in the middle of the courtyard.

Bai Shijue entered with Bo Pengfei and Han Shun following from behind, and he had been humming while staring at the plum blossom tree. Because it seemed to be lacking on something.

[Hmm… what did I forget? I feel like something is missing in this plum blossom tree.]

[Pupa: … yes, you're right, something is missing.]

[Hm… OH! DAMN, I FORGOT ABOUT CHINCHIN!]

[That chipmunk is sleeping in the plum blossom tree in the mortal realm! Damn it!]

Han Shun couldn't see Bai Gege's face, but he determine that Bai Gege was thinking about something from his hum, "Bai Gege, is there something wrong?"

"… we forgot about something, Han Shun," Bai Shijue replied. "We forgot about Chinchin."

"AH! I ALSO FORGOT ABOUT THAT CHIPMUNK!" Han Shun yelled out of reflex.

"Bai Gege, should I return to fetch Chinchin for you?" Han Shun asked. "I can travel back to the mortal realm and always use the love talisman to return to you!"

"Love talisman?" Bo Pengfei, who heard it, was also surprised because he knew about the Love talisman. But he didn't expect that talisman to come into the conversation.

"This new disciple can get Master Bai's love talisman?"
