"Master Han Ye, do you have a plan to hide the fact that I killed twenty people?" Han Shun asked. The body might've been erased from existence, but people would still remember them, and a wide search would happen around the forest.

Maybe they would piece evidence and find Han Shun to be the perpetrator, and he didn't want that to happen.

"I also need a reason to make it believable that I have killed eleven legendary beasts without breaking a sweat," Han Shun said. "People might get too suspicious since my power isn't on par with your, Master Han."

Master Han Ye chuckled as he found this kid very amusing, "Anything to make it believable for your Bai Gege, huh?"

"Yes, anything to make it believable for met beloved Gege," Han Shun confirmed. "I don't want him to doubt me."

Master Han Ye patted Han Shun's head, "Don't worry, I will handle it."

Master Han Ye tapped the ground, and a sabertooth tiger came toward them. Han Shun was ready for another fight, but Master Han told him to drop the weapon.

"I called this tiger. He won't attack us," Master Han Ye said. He put his palm on top of the tiger's head and gave out an order.

Slowly, the tiger grew bigger until he was as big as the elephant that Han Shun slew before.

The sabertooth tiger looked fierce and had a dark aura surrounding it.

"This sabertooth tiger is a legendary beast. But I have to mutate it further by injecting my dark power inside, making it probably the strongest beast in this forest. It would eat any cultivator that passed by."

"Ah, so you want to put the blame on this sabertooth tiger?"

"Yes, we can put the blame on this tiger. But we need to leave now," Master Han Ye said. He grabbed Han Shun's arm and teleported away from the tiger.

They teleported next to a small waterfall to rest. They sat for a while and watched the sabertooth tiger start rampaging around the forest, killing and eating anything in its path.

"Master Han, how about my reason? I need to show that I have a powerful skill to defeat eleven legendary beasts!"

"Well, you can swallow these," Master Han Ye opened his hand and showed two marbles with names engraved on them:

Altair Roderick;

Elduin & Urduk.

"Do I swallow both at the same time?" Han Shun asked. He had no hesitation nor fear about it, knowing that it would only give him powers that couldn't be achieved through the traditional cultivation method.

"Altair Roderick is a powerful Alpha. He has great physical strength and powerful enough to even punch a mountain. Eating this marble will give you the strength that you need. But it has the side effect of making you… uh… in love with your Bai Gege even more," Master Han Ye explained as he remembered how much of an idiot Altair was whenever his wife was around.

"And the other one?"

"That's the marble of Elduin, the King of the elves, and Urduk, the corrupted beast. They're nature's beloved husbands. Eating the marble will boost your elemental strength and add nature affinity. Allowing you to control earth and plants."

Han Shun nodded and grabbed the two marbles without hesitation. The only thing he was worried about right now was Bai Gege's opinion.

As long as Bai Gege believed him and fell in love with him, the rest didn't matter. This world could be destroyed, and he wouldn't even take a second look.

He did everything for Bai Gege.

Gulk. Gulk.

Han Shun swallowed the marbles and closed his eyes. He felt a strong jolt from the inside, followed by a burning sensation.

"Urgh, the pain," Han Shun complained.

Master Han Ye smiled and advised, "You will be unconscious for a while. Why don't you make it believe for your Bai Gege instead?"

"Believable?"

"Yes, make a few bruises and cuts, as if you've been escaping from that giant sabertooth tiger, but you're too exhausted and wounded, so you fainted here."

"Oh, that's a good idea!" Han Shun summoned an ice dagger and grabbed a rock beside him. He started slicing a part of his arm, stomach, and thighs to make the illusion that he had been clawed by that sabertooth tiger.

He also smashed the rock around his body to dramatize him escaping from the sabertooth.

Lastly…

STAB!

Han Shun gritted his teeth as he stabbed his stomach, but he ensured that it wasn't in his vital part. He put water inside the wound and froze it, so he wouldn't bleed too much. But when Bai Gege found him, it would seem like he had been heavily wounded for a while.

"Okay, this is believable now," Han Shun said. He lay on the grassy patch beside the river and fainted quickly due to the effect of swallowing marbles.

Master Han Ye scoffed as he looked down at the unconscious Han Shun, "You're just like me, skin and bones. Heck, even your mind is wired just like mine. We're literally the same person."

"But why…"

"Why would Bai Yunyu fall in love with you but hate me to the bone?"

"What made us different? I don't understand…."

Han Ye sighed. There was never an answer from Yunyu. He saw Han Ye as some sort of irredeemable monster.

So he became a monster.

Han Ye heard the scream of other cultivators from afar. They were probably trying to escape the sabertooth tiger. That tiger must've eaten some already, a good reason to redirect people's attention away from Han Shun.

Han Ye used his power to make the sabertooth tiger even stronger than before, so it would draw the attention of his beloved wife.

"Wife, if your memory has been recovered, will you give me a chance? Will you finally see me as someone who loves you dearly? Or you will see me-- and our son as two freaks that deserves to be tortured?"
