When Alexander came home in the evening, he immediately went into his study without even eating dinner.

Luna was spending quite some time thinking about what to do, but in the end, she made a cup of coffee and brought it to him.

Alexander looked at the latte art on his cup, and he wasn’t sure if it was a bear or a cat. He raised his brows and asked, “You made this?”

Luna nodded and said, “Mrs. Niles taught me how to make it. Probably won’t be as tasty, so don’t place too much hope on it.”

Alexander was someone who was used to drinking premium coffee. He probably wouldn’t even look at her work!

Alexander stirred the coffee using a teaspoon. He then picked up the cup using his graceful finger and gave it a drink. He then said, “Very delicious.”

Luna couldn’t really see through his expression, and so she asked doubtfully, “Really?”

Alexander nodded and said, “It’s very delicious. You’ll brew a cup for me again tomorrow, won’t you?”

“I can’t guarantee that!” Luna said to Alexander. “When I don’t feel well, I don’t want to do anything.”

Alexander beamed and said, “Then I’ll make you happy every day.”

Other than Mrs. Niles, it was the first time that someone had brewed coffee for him. He liked it very much.

Perhaps it was because of how honest Alexander looked at her, Luna’s face blushed slightly. “You should continue with your work. I’ll go watch some drama.”

“Alright, rest early!”

After she closed the door, Luna touched her chest. Why was her heart pounding so quickly?

This body was still quite young, but could it be that she was having some kind of heart arrhythmia?

After Luna was back in her room, she went into a bathtub full of rose petals as she watched one short clip after another. Just as she was laughing happily, a text message popped out from her messenger. “Luna, have you spoken to President White? When would you have the time?”

Her smile froze in this instant as she frowned. How could someone be so bothersome?

“Told him. I’ll be going tomorrow afternoon. You go and make an appointment with the Oak family!” She paused a bit, and then added, “Only between nine to twelve. If they want to change the date, then we can do this next month!”

They had to make an appointment if they wanted to meet the patriarch of the Oak family because of how the Oaks managed their business.

And now, she intentionally made things difficult for Flora. She might be cursing her behind the screen!

If they had to drag another month, even if she was fine with it, Eve would force Flora to look for her.

As expected, the other side only replied with one message after five minutes saying, “Sure. I’ll arrange the time!”

Luna smiled as she continued to watch the clips.

After she had finished bathing and changed into her pajamas, Flora had also sent over the appointment time.

“10a.m. Bliss Hotel. 629.”

Luna didn’t reply, pretending that she hadn’t seen it.

She only replied in the morning the next day when Floral repeatedly called her. All she replied was, “Ok, got it.”

After greeting Alexander, she then had breakfast with him as he said to her thoughtfully, “You should bring someone over as insurance. Your stepmother is not someone simple.”

Luna shook her head and said, “No need!”

With her martial arts, she wouldn’t need any bodyguards. She could easily defeat ten men herself!

When Alexander saw that, he didn’t force the matter. After having breakfast, he then wanted to leave.

“Can you see me off today?”

Luna was slightly stunned, but then stood up and said, “Sure…”

Alexander smiled and wanted to pat her head, but he didn’t do it in the end. He simply said, “Alright.”

Once Luna had sent him off and looked at him driving off, she returned to her room.

She opened her dresser, and everything inside was branded clothing that Alexander had bought for her.

Since she was going to meet the Oaks, she naturally had to pick something bright. The brighter, the better.

In the end, she chose a cream-colored tight long dress. While the neckline was a little low, she would look extremely elegant with a shawl.

Just as insurance, she hid several jack knives under the shawl.

Luna didn’t understand why someone as weak as the original would buy things like this, but they did look quite nice and they really suited her, and so she stopped overthinking it.

However, she really did miss the weapons that she had used in her previous lifetime. They were small and cut through iron like butter.

Most importantly, she would lace them with some kind of special poison.

Even if she managed to just scratch the skin, and it didn’t even need to penetrate the flesh until blood would show, the poison would quickly numb her enemy’s brain so that they couldn’t retaliate.

After putting on light makeup, she tidied up her clothing and then drove to Bliss Hotel.

Flora was probably rather anxious as she kept calling and asking where Luna was.

Luna gave her some short replies and then pressed on the elevator’s button that would take her to the sixth floor.

From the moment that she walked into the main hall, she had already caught the attention of many people there.

“Is she a celebrity? That body of hers is too perfect!”

“She’s so pretty. I want to go get her autograph.”

“Quick, give me a pinch and see if I’m dreaming.”

Luna smiled. The original had been lied to by those people and didn’t even know how pretty she was.

And now, she would enjoy the praises from the world on behalf of the original!

One minute later, she appeared in front of Room 629.

She pushed open the door with that delicate hand of hers, and she slowly appeared before all of them.

She was a stunning beauty with a curvy body. Even the bright sunlight that streamed from the window had seemingly become her personal spotlight.

The two elders from the Oaks looked at how beautiful Luna was. They didn’t even have to think who was the one that made her this way.

It was all their useless son’s fault. Why would he not choose someone as good as her, but instead chose that illegitimate daughter born by a mistress!

Clarence was completely shocked. In just a few days, she seemed to be even more beautiful than the day that she was at the party.

Eve couldn’t help but clench her fist. ‘This woman… Did this woman go for plastic surgery? How could she even be so beautiful?!”

“My apologies,” Luna said as she tucked a stray strand of hair. “The traffic was quite bad hence my delay.”

Mr. Oak nodded and said, “Have a seat.”

Luna looked around but realized only Flora and Eve were there.

Julius wasn’t there at all. He must believe that these two were ruining his reputation!

She pulled a chair and then sat down. Luna then said to them, “Sir, Ma’am. I still have something else I have to do later, so let’s make this quick! Clarence wasn’t in a relationship with Eve initially. However, because I’m not mentally in the right state, I didn’t want to drag Clarence down with me, and I quietly helped them get together. It wasn’t Eve that seduced Clarence. It was all my fault. However, after the two of them got together, I regretted what I did. Eve is the victim in all of this.”

Mr. Oak then glanced at Flora and Eve before saying, “Is that it? If it’s true, then we have misunderstood Eve.”

“Yes, it’s true!” Luna gave them a bright smile and said, “Eve has always been someone quite kind!”
