In the library, Hector leaned on his chair in boredom. He looked at Hermione, who was lowering her head and immersed in the sea of books, and smiled.

It was so beautiful that Hector was a little dazed for a while, and only came back to his senses when Hermione called his name.

Hermione blushed when Hector looked at her. She was very angry that Hector was doing nothing in the library.

""Hector, this is the library. You come here to study. Otherwise, why are you here?" Hermione stared at Hector's lazy look and was very dissatisfied.

Hector straightened his body obediently and pretended to pick up the book in front of him.

"Please be serious, you even hold the book upside down!" Hermione looked at Hector, whose mind was not here at all, and felt amused and angry.

Hector put down the book and cautiously probed,"Actually, I think the key to learning magic lies in practice, not theory." He glanced at Hermione's face. Although it didn't seem to change, his hand holding the book tightened.

Hector changed his tone in time,

"It is also very important, right? How can you practice without learning the theory well? Read books."He could only turn the book upside down and pretend to be enjoying it.

Hector read for a while. He had read most of the things in these books during the summer vacation. What attracted him more now were the things in the restricted books section. One still has to learn some black magic, which is a necessary means to cultivate oneself and make a living. Not everyone can use Expelliarmus to fight against Avatar like Harry.

It is different to have no sword in your hand and to have a sword in your hand without using it.

As for the conventional spells now, either Hector has learned them or he can basically learn them after taking a look at them. Hector felt really bored, so he stood the book up and prepared to secretly take a nap to kill some time.

Hermione really couldn't do anything about Hector. She saw through Hector's plan at a glance. She put away the things on her desk and patted Hector, which scared the sneaky Hector.

Hector looked at the little witch who stood in front of him at some point. He was stunned for a moment, and then quickly lowered his head guiltily.

"Since you can't read the book, why not practice some spells. That way you won't fall asleep again, right?" Hermione didn't argue with Hector anymore, but just made this suggestion. Hector quickly stood up and wiped the saliva from the corner of his mouth.

"Of course, I know a very good place."Hector quickly walked out of the library, and Hermione followed him with a book in her arms.

They walked out of the library and walked up the stairs. The stairs were very comfortable at this moment, allowing Hector and Hermione to walk on them safely.

Hector quickly led Hermione to the eighth floor. Hermione looked at Hector with a suspicious look on her face.

"You're not going to take me back to the Gryffindor common room?" The Gryffindor common room is on the eighth floor. Hector didn't answer, but waved mysteriously for her to follow.

""Hermione stood still, she felt that Hector was teasing her, wasting time was unforgivable for Hermione who strictly planned her daily routine.

"Don't tell me you're going to practice spells in the Gryffindor common room, Hector."

"Of course not, just follow me." Hector found that Hermione was still standing there angrily, so he walked up to the little witch and looked into Hermione's eyes seriously.

"Believe me, it's a perfect place."

Hermione followed Hector doubtfully, and the sincerity in Hector's eyes touched her. However, Hermione swore that if Hector was really playing a prank, she would never speak to Hector again.

They soon came to a huge tapestry, which showed an image of several trolls beating Barnabas silly. Hector stopped moving forward and just kept circling in front of the portrait.

This was a long and deep corridor. Hermione looked around, and there didn't seem to be any rooms suitable for practicing spells. She thought Hector was definitely making fun of her, and tears soon welled up in her eyes.

Hector walked back and forth in front of the tapestry several times, muttering to himself, I need a place to practice spells.

When Hector finally stopped, Hermione was ready to question him.

""

Hermione stared at Hector, tears welling up in her eyes, as if she had been wronged. Hector felt uncomfortable with her sad and angry eyes. He pointed behind Hermione.

"Look back, Hermione."

Hermione turned her head and a door slowly emerged from the wall. Hector quickly took her hand and pushed the door open. In front of them was a spacious room with a dummy in the middle for practice.

"I didn't lie to you, did I?" Hector used his other hand to wipe Hermione's tears, but he was reluctant to let go of Hermione's hand.

Hermione suddenly shook off Hector's hand and glared at Hector fiercely. This glare obviously had no killing power, but it made Hector's heart beat faster.

Hector took out a chocolate frog from his arms. It was stuffed into his robe by Aberforth before he left, and it just came in handy now.

Hector unwrapped the chocolate frog, and a brown chocolate frog jumped out of the box and fell into Hector's hand. Hector handed the chocolate frog in his hand to Hermione.

Hermione opened her hand, and the chocolate frog jumped from Hector's hand to hers.

"My grandpa said that eating a chocolate frog will make you feel much better."Hector used his magic wand to clean up the garbage, clapped his hands, and stood up.

"Welcome to the Room of Requirement.

Hermione quickly stood up, the tears on her face were still obvious, but now she was smiling happily.

Hermione wiped the tears off her face. Seeing Hector standing beside her with a smug smile, she was really annoyed.

Hermione took out her wand from her arms and posed for a duel.

"Now that you've seen me crying, I definitely can't let you stay here!" Hermione said with a serious expression.

"Let's duel, only one of us can get out of here!"

Hector also drew out his wand and made a pose that he thought was very cool.

"Come on, let me see what you can do!"

Hector thought it was a duel between long-range wizards, but unexpectedly Hermione rushed up with her wand raised.

Next, it was more like Hermione was venting the little anger left in her heart on Hector than to say that the two were dueling. Hector did not fight back, mainly because he did not dare.

Besides, Hector thought that it would not hurt if a little girl hit someone. Why not do something that does not require suffering and can promote feelings?

Hermione's anger soon disappeared. She straightened her collar and her hair that was messy because of the fight, and returned to her original arrogant look.

Hector was beaten up and was about to play the victim to get some good treatment. Unexpectedly, Hermione seemed to be blind and completely ignored his funny behavior. Instead, she immediately asked Hector to start teaching her spells.

"So what spell are we going to practice today? I remember there was a very interesting spell in the spell class, which seemed to be"

Seeing Hermione's serious expression, Hector wanted to cry but had no tears.

This is not how you use animals, you only hit them with big sticks and don't give them sweet treats.

Thinking this way, Hector still answered Hermione's questions honestly and seriously.

When the two came out of the Room of Requirement, it was already past dinner time. Hector asked Hermione to go back to the Gryffindor common room and wait, and he went to the kitchen to get some food. After Hermione left, he looked at the long stairs and felt that free fall would be more convenient.

Hector came back very quickly, so fast that Hermione was a little surprised. When she saw that he was holding a whole plate of food in both hands, Hermione realized how hungry she was.

The two large plates of food were quickly eaten up, and Hermione wiped her mouth with satisfaction, thinking that Hector looked more pleasing to the eye. As for Hector, he was patting his round belly and leaning on the sofa without caring about his image.

"Thank you today, your advice is very useful."Hermione stood up and looked at Hector and said sincerely. She had indeed witnessed Hector's extremely high talent for magic and abundant theoretical knowledge. Even for questions that Hermione herself thought were too tricky, Hector could give her perfect answers. Even if Hector didn't know many spells, he could quickly learn and master them at a speed that Hermione couldn't understand.

What was a little strange was that when talking about the glow spell, the unnaturalness on Hector's face, which was well concealed, was still discovered by the little witch. He insisted that he didn't know the glow spell and his evasive eyes made Hermione feel more or less that something was wrong.

For this proud little genius, Hermione realized today that there really are people who are more powerful than her. But this didn't hit her much, it just made her feel that she had to work harder. So Hermione planned to go back to the dormitory to read for a while and try to keep up with Hector's pace.

"You're welcome, go back and have some rest." Hector was really exhausted. He had been explaining spells to Hermione for most of the afternoon, which was really too exhausting. He just wanted to have a good sleep now.

"By the way, don't be late for Potions class tomorrow. I heard that Professor Snape is not someone you can easily mess with. Hermione looked at Hector walking towards the boys' tower and reminded him.

"Don't worry," Hector waved his hand,"See you tomorrow!" Then he disappeared into the tower of the boys' dormitory.

"See you tomorrow." Hermione's voice was so small that it seemed like it was just for herself. She didn't skip towards the girls' dormitory until she could no longer see Hector.
