Hector used the excuse of going home to see Aberforth as an excuse for disappearing to deal with Harry and the others' inquiries. This excuse is always very useful and impeccable. Harry and Ron also knew that Hector's home was in the Hog's Head Inn in Hogsmeade, so it was very reasonable for him to go back after the exam.

Didn't go back to the dormitory? This is indeed a serious problem for other young wizards, but this is Hector Dumbledore. Even if Hector chooses to go to school as a day student next semester, Harry doesn't think it will be a big problem.

But things have become much simpler. At least Harry doesn't have to worry about how so many people will squeeze under the invisibility cloak.

"We are going to the restricted area tonight and get the Philosopher's Stone first."

Harry still talked to Hector about their plans for tonight. He thought Hector would say something, at least to raise some opposing opinions. Unexpectedly, Hector agreed very straightforwardly, so straightforward that Harry could not believe it.

"I heard from Grandpa Albus that the Philosopher's Stone will be moved to a safer place tomorrow." This is what Hector explained, and he continued,

"Besides, he was not in Hogwarts tonight. He heard that something was going to happen in the Ministry of Magic tonight, so he hurried over."

"That was definitely fake news sent by Snape!" Harry was very excited when his inference was confirmed. Now his eyes were shining.

"Snape must definitely take action tonight - your information is so important!"

"Since it is confirmed that Snape will take action tonight, we have to make some preparations in advance."The resourceful Hermione said, she quickly ran to her dormitory, and when she came back, she was holding a pile of books and notebooks in her arms.

"I suggest you all take a look at it, maybe it can come in handy."

Harry and Ron nodded. Hector had rarely seen them so enthusiastic about learning. Harry and Ron each held a large book and read it intently, hoping to happen to see a spell they would remove later.

Hector did not go through the notes with them.

He quietly leaned back in the armchair and closed his eyes to rest.

Unlike Harry and the others, Hector had no intention of going through the trapdoor - the first reason was that when facing Snape, who played Quirrell, Hector could hardly guarantee that he would not laugh out loud.

Secondly, compared to the boring level-breaking, passionate fighting was what Hector pursued.

Hector had a certain understanding of his current level of magic power.

Before the war came, the best way was to let himself recuperate well.

No one planned to have dinner. They were all preparing for tonight's events.

Time passed very quickly. The Gryffindor students went to bed one by one. There were fewer and fewer people in the common room. Soon, the common room became empty.

"I'm going to get the Invisibility Cloak," Harry lowered his voice. He saw Lee Jordan, the most active person left in the common room, finally stretched and went back to his dormitory.

Ron nodded, and they stood up. Now there were only three of them in the common room.

"Hector, the invisibility cloak can only accommodate three people at most," Ron said.

"So someone has to go with you - use the Invisibility Charm."

Except for him, the other two people's eyes were fixed on Hector, especially Neville. But even though Neville's eyes revealed a great desire, Hector chose Hermione without much hesitation.

Three grown men could squeeze under one cloak, but two men plus Hermione, Hector thought it was better to forget it, it was a bit strange, wasn't it? Besides, in order to prevent them from getting separated when they couldn't see each other, Hector could even hold Hermione's hand with a clear conscience - as for letting Hector hold Neville's hand? Please, this is Hector, not Albus. (Dog head)

Hector cast the Disillusionment Charm on himself first, and then on Hermione - of course, after holding her hand. Harry quickly ran out of the dormitory with his Invisibility Cloak in his hand.

"We'd better put on the Invisibility Cloak here and hope it can cover us completely - otherwise Filch will see a pair of feet walking on the ground by themselves - wait, where are Hector and Hermione?"

The air trembled, and Hector's voice seemed to come from a long distance,

"I used the Disillusionment Charm on Hermione. Your invisibility cloak only needs to cover three people, Harry."

Harry nodded and motioned Neville and Ron to come over. The cloak was neither too big nor too small, just enough to cover all three of them.

Before they completely disappeared into thin air, Hermione grabbed a corner of the invisibility cloak with her other hand - to prevent everyone from getting separated in this situation where they couldn't see each other and couldn't call each other to determine their location.

""Hurry up, Hector," Hermione held Hector's hand tightly. Her voice was not loud, probably because of the Disillusionment Charm. But the little witch was really nervous, and Hector could hardly keep up with her.

When Hector and his companions climbed the first staircase, they met Mrs. Norris, but it was not Filch himself - Harry was very glad for that. Mrs. Norris just noticed that something was wrong nearby, but she couldn't see anything. And she couldn't do anything except meow a few times, which made Ron even want to kick her to avenge Filch.

After bypassing Mrs. Norris, Hector and his companions met Peeves on the fourth floor. Peeves was very sensitive to the air. There was something wrong. Unlike Mrs. Norris, he was a prankster and had the ability to do something.

"There are some invisible things sneaking around here. I think I should go to Filch to report."

Peeves shouted arrogantly in the air. It would be unwise to drive him away directly with Vadi Vasi. But before Hector could react, Harry took action. He lowered his voice, and Hector heard his mysterious voice coming from the front.

"Peeves," Harry's voice was hoarse and deep.

"The Bloody Baron doesn't want to be seen, and he has his reasons.

Peeves' face suddenly changed as he floated in the air. His arrogance suddenly disappeared, and his words became soft and flattering.

"Oh, I'm sorry, Lord Bloody, Master Barrow, this is all my fault," Peeves' figure fell from the sky, his little eyes rolling around.

"I didn't realize it was you, Lord Barrow. Of course I couldn't see you. You were invisible. Please forgive Peeves' little joke, Lord Barrow."

It seems that Harry's method is working. His imitation is clumsy, but surprisingly effective.

""I've got something to do here, Peeves," Harry growled, and he sounded as though his voice was failing him, so his words were kept very short.

"Don't come here again tonight"

"As you command, sir, I swear I will disappear immediately and never appear again, tonight, tomorrow night, and every night after that." Peeves said this, and he rose into the air again.

"I hope your business goes smoothly, and I won't bother you anymore."

Peeves ran away very quickly, and he disappeared at the end of the corridor like a deflated balloon.

"Very exciting, Harry!" This was Ron's voice, but no one responded to him. Hector was dragged forward by Hermione. In a few seconds, the five of them walked to the corridor outside the fourth floor - the door had been opened.

If they continued like this, Hector would be forced to go through the level with them. He thought that he finally felt that holding Hermione's hand was not a good choice - Hermione held Hector's hand tightly because of nervousness, and Hector really couldn't think of any excuse to let her let go.

Suddenly, a fireball streaked across the sky outside the window of Hogwarts Castle, and everyone heard a loud sound. The fireball fell into the forbidden forest not far away - Hector knew that the Death Eaters' plan had begun. Voldemort really failed to inform his loyal followers of the cancellation of the plan, and Dumbledore's plan was proceeding steadily. This can be regarded as good news. The

Disillusionment Curse on Hector and Hermione was lifted, and Harry and the others also took off their invisibility cloaks. They didn't have time to say anything, and all looked straight out the window,

"What is that?"Hermione let go of Hector's hand, or more like Hector let go of her hand intentionally.

"A fireball falling from the sky? Right at Howards? This doesn't look like an accident. You're right, Harry. This was definitely Voldemort's doing!" Ron pointed out the window, his voice very loud.

"Someone has to tell Professor McGonagall and the others. I guess they will believe it by now!"

"I went and told Professor McGonagall and the others," Hector volunteered naturally. He explained,

"She will only believe me. If any of you go to her, Gryffindor will definitely lose 50 points or be expelled."

"But we need you." Neville's voice was not loud, but it was loud enough for everyone to hear. Harry and the others also looked at Hector.

"I believe you can do it." Hector couldn't waste any more time. After saying this, he turned around and ran towards Professor McGonagall's office without pausing.

"You have to hurry up, time waits for no one!"

Hector's figure quickly disappeared at the end of the corridor, leaving the four little wizards looking at each other in bewilderment.

"Indeed, only Hector is more suitable to go to Professor McGonagall. Hermione was a person who made up her mind. She walked into the door first, waved her hand, and said to the three little wizards standing in a daze behind her,

"It's time to hurry up, Snape is way ahead of us!"
