Ye Mi was left stunned by Chen Chunxiang’s series of questions, and almost didn’t know how to answer.

Only after while did she react, and she answered each person one by one: “She’s my real sister, but we don’t have a good relationship.”

An half-sister was still a real sister, and this half blood relationship cannot be denied.

“No wonder.” Chen Chunxiang said.

“…”

Seeing that the atmosphere was not right, Gao Yuan quickly stood up to divert everyone’s attention: “Why are you talking about this? There are still many branches over there. Let’s hurry over and pick them up.”

“Lets go.”

The group of them went over, and everyone picked up a basket full of dead branches, and there was enough firewood for two or three days when they went back.

Ye Mi struggled to carry her share and walked back slowly.

Halfway through the walk, she suddenly felt the lightness on her back, and she turned her head to see Chen Chunxiang standing behind her with a smirk, lifting the basket for her with one hand, reducing most of the weight.

“Well, I see that you are struggling, and I want to help you.” In fact, she felt that Ye Mi might be angry just now, so she ran over to curry favor with her (YM). Please forgive me.

“Thank you, but I’m not angry.”

After living together for several years, how can Ye Mi not know what kind of temperament Chen Chunxiang has?

This person was naive and foolish, the silly big sister, always talking without thinking, but actually had no bad intentions. The words she said just now was out of concern for Ye Mi, but this kind of concern can be a little too invasive for ordinary people.

To some it would seem she was stepping on people’s painful feet in a scheming way.

But once you get to know her well and know what kind of person she is, you won’t be easily offended by her anymore.

Ye Mi generously forgave her, which made Chen Chunxiang even more embarrassed.

Not only did she enthusiastically help her send the branches home, but she also asked her to make clothes for her.

“I heard from Shuyuan that you made her wedding suit. It’s very beautiful. I also want you to make me a beautiful new suit. Don’t worry, I’ll pay you the same labor cost. I’ll give you three dollars, okay?”

“I’m really not angry, you don’t have to be like this.” Ye Mi thought she was still feeling sorry for what happened just now, so she was purposely trying to support her business.

“No, don’t get me wrong, I really think the clothes you make are very beautiful, even better than the ones my mother sent me.” Chen Chunxiang quickly explained: “It’s also cheaper to ask you to make clothes than to go to a supply and marketing agency. To be honest, I also want to save some money and buy more delicious food, hehe…” She was telling the truth. The front of her only pair of cotton trousers was torn, and ever since it was repaired by Ye Mi, Chen Chunxiang had been planning to buy new clothes.

Because Ye Mi had gotten married and left the Educated Youth courtyard, she felt that she could no longer rely on her (YM) to help mend clothes. She had to become self-reliant and buy more clothes. It’s just that before she had time to go shopping, she saw Bing Shuyuan’s new suit and was immediately envious.

After inquiring and finding out that Ye Mi did it, she also made up her mind, and now she just took this opportunity to say it.

“Okay, then you come into the house with me first, I’ll measure the size, and then you can tell me what kind of clothes you want me to make. I will help you calculate the size of the fabric, so that you can buy the right amount of fabric.”

Seeing that Chen Chunxiang really wanted to look for her to make clothes, rather than compensating out of guilt, Ye Mi naturally didn’t have the sense to push the business away.

She helped Chen Chunxiang measure her figure, calculated the amount of fabric needed according to the clothes she was going to make, and wrote it down on a note for her to buy accordingly.

Chen Chunxiang pinched the note from Ye Mi, looked at it, then looked at Ye Mi, looked at it again, then looked at Ye Mi… Ye Mi touched her face strangely, but she didn’t feel anything on it, and couldn’t help but ask, “What’s wrong?”

Why do you keep looking at me?

Weird.

“Tell me the truth, is this your writing?” Chen Chunxiang looked at Ye Mi with an extremely strange look, as if she didn’t know her anymore.

Yemi: “…”

She felt like she was implicated in a crime, to which there were witnesses.

“Recently I started practicing calligraphy with Jing Ziheng.” She explained, and couldn’t help muttering: “Was my handwriting so ugly before?”

“No.” Chen Chunxiang gave Ye Mi a little hope, and then added dryly: “It’s just that the writing was so scribbled, that only you can understand it.”

“…… You go, it’s late, I should go cook.”

Ye Mi closed the door expressionlessly. When Jing Ziheng came home after getting off work, he was greeted by the back of his little wife sitting at the desk angrily writing big characters. The strength of the pen was almost piercing the paper, and those who didn’t know it thought that the book had some kind of life-and-death enmity with her.

“What’s the matter? Who made our classmate Ye Mi angry?” He leaned over and leaned his chin on Ye Mi’s thin shoulder from behind.

Ye Mi arched her shoulders and pushed Jing Ziheng’s dog’s head away: “Itchy, don’t lean on me.” He squeezed her little hand and trapped it in his palm as he playex with it: “You dislike me?”

“Hmph, I dislke you.” Ye Mi pursed her lips, her cheeks bulging.

Angry she resembled a puffer fish.

Jing Ziheng poked her cheek with his finger amusedly, air leaked out of her pink mouth immediately, and there was a puffing sound, as if she was farting.

My God! The little girl who was already angry immediately exploded. She raised her hands into a small fist attack.

After the playfulness was over and the temper was vented, Ye Mi grumbled and told Jing Ziheng about her being sarcastically criticized for her ugly handwriting today.
