Rebirth of Abium

128 Chapter 128: Chaos

'What happened?' He was anxious inside.

'It seems the necromancers' group broke the last seal.' Azolla commented inside his head.

Meanwhile, a group of necromancers stood in front of a falling ten-meter dark circular pillar. As the dark pillar fell on the ground, a smile started to appear on everyone's face. Well, Ulzez and Aliza didn't smile, though. They simply watched the necromancers' mission curiously while discussing through their minds.

'Mr. Ulzez, why did they break this dark pillar?' Aliza asked through the strange telepathic connection.

'I'm also searching for the answer. Strange, I feel some connection to the will of Easica world from this Dark pillar.' Ulzez stopped for a moment and replied solemnly.

'I once heard that the ancient mages of Easica world created similar pillars and hid it inside many dimensions for unknown reasons. If my guess is right, breaking this dark pillar will put more restrictions on other planar beings like me. Those ancient mages must be planning something big. I think all foreign gods' followers will completely lose contact with their gods in a few months. Also, from now on, foreign gods' divine spells wouldn't work inside the Easica world.'

Azolla's deep blue eyes widened when she heard Ulzez's answer.

'Don't get excited, little girl. Your fate remains the same. All you can do now is follow that anomaly kid and ask for his help in the future.' Ulzez said calmly and turned his attention towards Russet, brown-eyed middle-aged man.

"Our mission is over," Rilos said with a smile while shifting his eyes towards the volcanic mountain range.

'My next job is to find the 'Tear of Phoenix' and then get the hell out of this dimension.' He muttered to himself.

But before he could retract his eyes from the mountain range, he received an urgent message through his soul from his teacher Mike.

'Get out of the Fex dimension, Rilos. An elven anomaly appeared and already defeated my sealed body. If my guess is right, he must have activated the defensive Sun's glare spell before entering the Fire temple. Your job is over at the Fex dimension. Come back to Easica world; we need to unseal my Phylactery from the black coffin within a year. I already received another oracle from the Lord of Death.' Hearing Mike's message, Rilos's face froze for a moment, and soon it turned into a shocked one!

Before Rilos could ask any question, he felt the connection was severed.

'Someone entered into this Fex dimension along with us? Who?' He creased his eyebrows and soon remembered a third-tier soul escaped from the soul gem.

"It's time for us to go back."

Everyone nodded their head. After getting approval from everyone, Rilos took out a fist-sized crystalline stone and tossed it on the ground. Following that, he began to mutter a strange incantation in nether language.

Within a minute, a strong spatial elemental fluctuation appeared above that stone, and soon a spatial crack began to form. After a few seconds, the crack began to expand while emitting intense radiations and then formed into a 2-meter radius bluish portal!

Everyone's face brightened as they saw the portal.

"Let's go," Rilos spoke solemnly and jumped into it. Following that, all of them jumped into the bluish portal and disappeared from there.

At the same time, a big change happened in the Easica world.

When the necromancers broke the last seal, a violent earthquake appeared all over the continent and stuck fear in every living soul. Then, all the foreign gods' followers, including Light Church Pontiff Philip, suddenly lost their connection to their gods' divine kingdoms. Everyone felt something was wrong and became alarmed inside.

Although they still managed to use some divine spells, the followers noticed the power of the divine spells was decreased considerably.

Moreover, dungeon towers started to appear in many places. Monsters like Goblins, Orcs, Kobolds, Wyverns, Gnomes, Minotaurs, and other kinds of monsters came out from those dungeons and caused chaos everywhere.

Using the chaos, evil cult organization members and demon worshippers started killing mortals in large numbers and began to conduct many sacrificial rituals everywhere.

But Arcane Empire and the Elven Kingdom did nothing to protect the mortals and watched everything with calm eyes as if everything was under their control!

Inside the Fex dimension, Fire temple.

Abium stood there while listening to Azolla's explanation about the earthquake and then shifted his gaze towards the red droplet laid at the foot of the Phoenix statue.

'What's that?' He didn't think much about those necromancers' mission and got entirely captivated by that red-colored droplet that was sealed in another small crystalline glass.

'Wait a minute.' Azolla said and scanned the red droplet. Then within a second, a row of blue letters appeared in front of Abium's eyes.

[Tear of Phoenix-

This droplet of Tear came from a Fire elemental Demigod and had a little amount of Fire Law and some mystic divine power hidden in it. Directly consuming this Tear will help one to gain some understanding of the Fire law. This is a rare treasure produced by a Fire Elemental Demigod.]

As Abium read those words, his complexion changed completely!

He thought he would find the undying artifact but didn't expect that he would get another treasure. He silently walked near to that crystalline glass and soon grabbed the crystal box while sensing mystical power from the Tear of Phoenix.

'Azolla, what is that Demi-Lich's motive?' Abium asked while keeping his eyes on the red-colored Tear of Phoenix.

'He must be related to that organization' Order of the Dead.' Somehow, he got gravely injured when he entered this dimension and managed to find this Tear of Phoenix and appeared to be guarded this droplet. Hmm, something doesn't seem right. How did he come here in the first place?' Azolla stopped her talking and fell into deep thought as if she was analyzing something.

Abium also started to feel something was amiss, and soon he shifted his gaze towards the Sky-Elf's body, which was sealed in the crystalline glass.

'Can you able to guess for how long ago did he came to this temple?' Abium asked solemnly.

'Hmm, that's an impossible task, because we don't have an artifact which could see through one's past. Maybe we can try and find out something from that Demi Lich's ring.' Azolla's words made Abium realize he still has that silver spatial ring on his finger.

He sent his spiritual power into that ring and marked it with his own. He knew this spatial ring was Demi Lich's ring and became more excited!

'Hmm, wait a minute! How strong is Demi Lich?' Abium asked with a frown. He knew Lich was a legendary tier figure and guessed this Demi Lich must be just one step below the legendary tier.

'I will tell you the exact power level based on the mage's power level. Necromancers are slightly different from mages after they breakthrough into a third-tier being. When a necromancer becomes a third-tier being, he/she will be able to enter the realm of Immortality. Well, they will create their Phylactery using one of their body parts and hide it in some secret place. As long as that Phylactery remains hidden, they will revive using another body. These necromancers were called as Death Lords.

In that fourth tier, they will be turned into Death Kings. Death Kings will have a power equal to pseudo legendary mages. Then, the next tier will be Death Emperors. They are as powerful as legendary mages and have some control over the death domain.' Azolla's words caused Abium to grasp the power level of necromancers.

But soon, the frown on his forehead deepened as he remembered there was no Demi Lich or Lich came in those power levels. As if Azolla sensed Abium's puzzlement, she continued with a chuckle.

'This title only applies to Necromancers. That Demi Lich is not a necromancer but a Death Mage.' Her words startled him.

'So, Rilos and others misunderstood their teacher Lord Shade's words and thought Aliza as their chosen one.' Abium made a guess and continued to listen.

'Death mages are like priests. They borrow power from death dimensions or the Death gods. They will also inherit memories about death spells and will be more powerful in earlier stages. But once a death mage advanced into a third-tier being, they will be forced to abandon a part of their humanity and becomes a Demi-Lich.

In the fourth tier, they will completely abandon humanity and would turn into a pure Lich. During this process, some will form a pact with the Will of the Underworld and becomes an Underworld being. In Fifth Tier, those Liches will start to grasp some power of the Death domain and would be proclaimed themselves as Lich Kings. If someone managed to become a Lich King, then he/she would be almost as powerful as Demigods.' Azolla finished her words leaving Abium dumbfounded.

He even forgot to check at that silver spatial ring and stood blankly for a few moments while engraving the information in his mind. After a second, he let out a deep sigh as he felt how insignificant he was and soon turned his attention to the spatial ring.

Soon, his expression turned into shock and disbelief as he scanned inside that silver ring.

'What the f*ck is this? How poor is this guy? Did this guy have only 100 white gold coins and a personal diary?' Abium almost choked as he saw the amount of wealth inside Demi-Lich's spatial ring. There wasn't any magic stone or any high tier skeleton like other necromancers stored inside this ring, which made Abium smile bitterly. But what made him almost to spit a mouthful of blood was the space inside his spatial ring was just five cubic meters!

As Abium was about to toss that diary away in frustration, he noticed four pages fell on the ground from the diary and quickly stopped his action.

Because he noticed those pages were written in Abyssal language! Abium instantly knew those pages were Lord Novak's diary.

A smile appeared on his face. He silently sat down and started reading those pages. But soon, he began to shake his head as he read the first two pages. It only contains information about Novak's apprentice days. But soon, his expression turned into serious as he read the third and fourth pages.

"Date January 2nd, Year 9072.

Today our Emperor Jack held a meeting to announce that we will explore that Fire elemental plane again in a few days. Hehe, it seems luck is on my side. It's been almost six years since I reached the bottleneck. Using this mission, I will find a way to kill a few third-tier fire elemental creatures and get Summer Shackle potion using those elemental crystals and its bodies. Then I will go to Arcane Empire and buy potion materials using one of my secret knowledge.

Although I forgot most of my memories, I still remember a few things. Hehe, once I advanced to a pseudo legendary tier mage, I will go and search for some clue about the 280th layer.

Haa! I have already grown attached to this human life, and I began to devout my life to this Empire. I hope nothing wrong would happen to this beautiful place.

But what worried me most was, Emperor Jack said a few experts from the Lockridge family and Ollim family would accompany us to the Fire-elemental plane. Well, His Excellency Jack said our only job was to collect information as much as possible from that plane and return quickly, but why do I feel restlessness inside my heart?

Date January 4th, Year 9072.

Today Emperor Jack summoned a few trusted mages privately and gave us a secret mission.

I have a vague feeling this was not a mission I should take lightly like other missions. Damn it! I feel it again. It must be one of my future prediction ability I got due to the understanding of Time Law. I'm not a Seer, though. Although I manage to comprehend above 3% in three Laws, I still feel restless inside. Emperor also explained that our mission is to get one Tear of Phoenix from any one of the elemental Demigod's Temple. He said only those who consume the Tear would get the power to enter the Abyssal Volcanic dungeon.

Yes, he is planning to enter the Abyssal Volcanic dungeon!

I almost fainted in shock when I heard Emperor Jack is planning to explore that Mythical level dungeon.

This mortal is not afraid of death!

I read about that dungeon in Arcane Library in the past. It's a dungeon that is directly connected to the 99th Abyss layer. I think Emperor Jack is doing something reckless again. If he went to explore that dungeon, then it will instantly attract Holy See's attention.

Cardinal Philip also has a 'Mind' divinity, so it is almost impossible to hide this news from him. Moreover, that dungeon is also located near to the territory of the Holy See.

Haa! For now, my mission is to safely get that Tear of Phoenix and bring it back without alerting others. It seems this Tear of Phoenix is only found in fire elemental planes. Moreover, I heard from Emperor that those tears are real teardrops of Fire elemental Demigods.

He told us that those Fire elemental Demigods would shed those tears only 1000 years once. He also mentioned those tears contain some divine power, which could act as some passcode when entering that Abyssal Volcanic dungeon. Well, I didn't plan on even going near to that dungeon anyway. I hope he will succeed in this mission.

Date January 8th, Year 9072.

I thought those two families would send some second-tier mages, but I didn't expect they would send this sneaky guy Theodric!

Damn it! Even I, a peak third-tier mage and a former ****** couldn't see through his strength. That damned Lockridge Head! What is he planning to send this poisonous snake to accompany us to the Fire elemental plane? F*ck you all! I don't want to die before I get my throne back. Did he not have any worry about that Cardinal Philip? Aren't he afraid of that f*cker?

What in the Abyss is he thinking? That a**hole will find out some information about this plane using his strange mind power. I know Theodric is just a puppet of the Holy See but still, him accompanying us during this mission worries me more.

Well, we have a total of 5 peak second-tier mages from the Lockridge family, four third-tier beginner mages from the Ollim family, and ten peak third-tier mages from the intelligent department. This much strength should be more than enough to take care of this guy if he plans to do anything behind our back. Moreover, Emperor Jack is also going to accompany us to explore that Fire-elemental plane. So, I don't think he poses any threat to this mission.

Date January 9th, Year 9072.

Today we arrived at the most famous fire elemental plane. Tsk, this is the worst place I went to explore in the last twenty years. Although this is my second time entering this plane, I still feel uncomfortable because of the heavier planar restriction. After we safely entered this plane, we planned to build a temporary planar teleportation circle somewhere hidden in the forest. Still, we ended up meeting a pseudo fire elemental legendary phoenix!

I should visit Lady Myxenta's church and must get a blessing from the church priest. Otherwise, I will end up dead before I breakthrough to Pseudo legendary realm. Thank the Abyss; we had our Emperor Jack guarding our backs; otherwise, everyone would have died on the first day.

Date January 30th, Year 9072.

After searching this Fire-elemental plane for almost three weeks, Emperor Jack found a clue about that 'Tear of Phoenix.' Today, He secretly explained a detailed plan to us about entering the Temple, which is protected by a Demigod.

Yup, you didn't hear it wrong. It's a f*cking Demigod! I think he became insane.

Emperor's and other experts' job is to lure out that Demigod's main body from its territory while the others job is to kill a few humanoid fire elemental creatures inside that Temple and search for other benefits. But I knew what I have to do during this time.

Date February 5th, Year 9072.

It was the scariest mission I ever did in this life! Finally, I have some time to write my diary. Emperor shouldn't have allowed that Theodirc to join this mission. Well, even I didn't expect Ollim and Lockridge would swear their allegiance to the Holy See!

That traitor almost stole that Tear of Phoenix if I didn't transport that whole Temple into the Fex Dimension. I'm going to kill those assholes one day. Although we survived their ambush, we lost seven peak third-tier mages. Moreover, the Emperor also got heavily injured by that Demigod. Haa!

At least we got that Tear of Phoenix successfully; otherwise, this mission would become a complete joke. Humph, only Emperor Jack, Empress Athena, and the remaining three members from the intelligent department, has the key to enter the Fex dimension. As long as the Tear locked in that dimension, no one will be able to steal it."
