Rebirth of Abium

147 Chapter 147: Three-Eyed Titan's Bloodline

Hearing Abium's words, Nicolaus became startled and then nodded his head after a short deliberation.

''Good. Stand at the center of this magic rune circle; I will take care of the rest.'' Abium said with a wide grin while pointing his finger at the magic rune circle and quickly took out a pebble-sized vial that had Three-Eyed Titan's bloodline.

Nicolaus didn't ask any question as he quickly walked towards the center of the magic rune circle and stood there excitedly.

Meanwhile, Abium tossed a few low tier magic stones towards every magic circles drawn on the walls and finally threw one mid-tier magic stone along with that pebble-sized red-colored vial towards Nicolaus's feet.

Once those magic stones made contact with those circles, all of them dissolved into pure mana and instantly activated all those magic rune circles. Abium didn't even glance at those magic circles drawn on the walls and completely focused his attention on the single magic rune circle laid on the floor. Once the Blood transfer array circle began to shine, the red vial that had the Blood Essence of Three-Eyed Giant began to break, and all those blood droplets suddenly began to hover in the air.

Meanwhile, those small droplets of blood began to send out lightning sparks to the surroundings, breaking some rune magic arrays. Then, those blood droplets began to enter Nicolaus's forehead one by one. When the last droplet of blood disappeared into Nicolaus's forehead, the Blood transfer array began to break into pieces. After that, Nicolaus let out a painful moan and fell on the ground while showing a twisted expression on his face.

A second later, his deep blue eye began to change into pitch-black one, and his black hair began to glow. Abium could hear creaking sounds from Nicolaus's body. Following that, a strange eyelid like mark appeared on his forehead. Although Nicolaus was still awake, Abium could tell he was going through a painful process.

Nicolaus laid motionlessly on the ground for the next few hours with a painful expression on his face and then trembled uncontrollably. It was as if he was fighting with some creature inside his mind. After a few moments, Abium watched a three-meter tall illusionary Giant figure appeared above Nicolaus's body and soon disappeared while letting out a painful cry.

'It must be the last remaining consciousness of that Giant.' Abium smiled as he saw the illusionary Giant and quickly scanned Nicolaus.

'Hmm, with his attack spell, he could easily kill any apprentice mages.' Abium muttered with a shocked expression on his face and soon asked his doubt,

'Azolla, what will happen when he became official Warlock? Will his spell effect change?'

'His bloodline spells will upgrade and have power equal to normal first-tier spells. Well, there is an exception for this Eye of Destruction ability, though. His third eye would have the power even to break your 'War of Angel's wings' spell.' Azolla's words caused Abium's body to shake a little.

'No way! T-That powerful?' Abium looked at Nicolaus with a dumbfounded expression on his face and soon calmed down.

During his last battle against that First-tier Three-Eyed Giant, he escaped using blink spell and didn't test out his War of Angel's wings' against the Eye of destruction.

'It appears I made the right choice back then.' Abium sighed deeply and quickly began to walk out while leaving Nicolaus alone in that room.

After that, he thought of the upcoming journey and felt he needed a few sacrificial puppets.

'The change of Bishop Piers successfully killing a peak second-tier magical beast is very high. If I'm not wrong, he must have some way even to kill a beginner level third-tier beast. Hmm, I also need to see the list of Holy knights who will participate in the upcoming expedition.' He muttered to himself and walked out of the single storied house around 3 P.M. He first went to adventurer's guild and registered his name under the Royal family section using an academic ring.

After that, he asked the receptionist about other participants and soon got his hands on the Holy knights' name and information list. If it were the Royal family's group list, it would be almost impossible. But getting Holy Knights' name lists was not a problem for him. After glancing at the information, he found three Holy knights skilled in sword arts and got relieved.

Abium knew sneaking into Light Church's group was a suicidal task. To become a holy knight, one must be a firm believer in Light and undergo baptism. Then holy knights would gain the ability to utilize light elemental power like normal warriors. Abium would never take such a risking task and thought of another method.

Sword arts! Abium knew a few Holy knights would only use sword skills during their battle instead of light elemental power and thought of using that method. With his upgraded Faceless glass mask and master level swordsmanship, now he had no problem at all. With a smile on his face, he walked out of the adventurer's guild and moved towards the slum street.

'I should give this task to some slum kids. If I personally went and ask for more information about these three holy knights, it will definitely attract attention.'

After three hours, Abium stood along with a few slum kids and patiently listening to their words. It was not a difficult task for those kids to gather information. As Abium listened to their words, a frown appeared on his face. Once they gave him all the information they gathered, he tossed a bag of silver coins to them and walked out of the slum street around 6 P.M.

After that, he moved towards the northern entrance gate, where Light church members were gathered. It didn't take long for him to find out one of the three Holy knights' tents and quickly sneaked inside.

Then, he cast Aura of Hallucination on the knight who now dressed in white linen clothes. That knight seemed to be in the middle of changing his armor.

Meanwhile, a knight named Jorden who looked at the entrance with confusion on his face and frowned. He had short black hair, a pale square face, and light blue eyes. As he made a swift glance, his light blue eyes suddenly squinted sharper and quickly gripped his long sword, which laid on his bed.

''Wait! I have no ill intention against you.'' Abium said while dispelling Aura of Hallucination spell and revealed his human face instead of elven one.

Jordan didn't stop as he unsheathed his long sword and asked while pointing it at Abium's neck.

''Who are you, mage?'' Although his tone was calm and cold, Abium could easily tell this knight was nervous inside.

''I'm a merchant. I came here to discuss a deal with you.'' Abium said calmly and added,

''A deal which might help you enters into a Radiant knight one day.'' Hearing his tempting words, Jordon's eyes widened. But he didn't lose his calm and looked him with the same cold look on his face.

After a few seconds, he moved his sword point towards his chest area and ordered,

''Tell me more about this deal.''

Hearing his words, Abium smiled brightly and began to speak,

''I want a few potion materials from the place you are going to expenditure. But I will give you a few artifacts beforehand for your safety as an investment. If you manage to get back with some potion materials, I will buy those ingredients at a normal market price. Well, usually, places like old ruins have so many materials due to those unique environments. So, what's your answer?''

Hearing Abium's words, Jordan got stunned. He had heard of these types of merchants from adventurers and didn't found anything suspicious. But still, he didn't agree to Abium's request; instead, he stood there pondering.

Even with his advanced sword mastery, it would be challenging for him to become a Radiant Knight. The main reason for that was money. He had to pay ten thousand white gold coins to the Cardinal if he wants to get the Radiant Baptism. That was almost an impossible task. Now, as he heard Abium's devil-like words, greed appeared in his heart.

But Abium didn't wait there and once again began to speak calmly,

''If you are not interested, then I will ask other knights.''

As he said those words, he began to move towards the exit without minding Jordan's sword, which was still pointing towards his chest.

''Wait! I agree.'' Hearing Abium's words, Jordan got anxious and blurted out.

A smile crept on Abium's face as he heard those words and tossed a spatial ring towards Jordan.

''I already put ten zero tier spell scrolls, two first-tier defensive spell scrolls, a book that contains information about potion materials and the possible location of those materials inside this spatial ring. Use it wisely.'' Abium said with the same smile and disappeared from there. Actually, he used the Adept level artifact's Illusion area spell and quietly walked towards the next target.

Meanwhile, Jordan stood with a stunning face and quickly grinned as he marked it with his own spiritual imprint.

''Now, with these scrolls, my safety can be guaranteed. Although Priest Arkos would get mad if I use spell scrolls in front of him, I don't think he will punish me.'' He said with a wry smile on his face and sighed deeply.

...

7th June, Amara Town, Alastall woodlands, Peral Kingdom.

A luxurious carriage arrived in front of the northern gate, and two young girls around 20 years old hurriedly walked out from the carriage while removing the golden curtains.

At the same time, two gatekeepers who stood on guard gave a deep look at Helena and bowed their head.

''Orson, go ahead and invite Mr. Viper to meet me at the reception room,'' Helena said to Orson and nodded her head at the two gatekeepers.

Helena was pleased by their response and waved her hand, and then walked in.

Meanwhile, Orson didn't waste any time and quietly let the carriage towards another side where Abium's manor was located.

At the same time, Helena glanced around everywhere and got shocked by the town's transformation. Within three months, the whole Amara town was bustling with full of life. She even saw many adventurers waking in and out from the entrance. Helena even saw a few normal civilians and walked on the street road while looking everywhere curiously. At the same time, Aliza's mind went blank as she saw the town. Instead of Pirates everywhere, she saw the whole town was filled with normal adventurers, causing her to think as if she saw dreaming.

Both moved towards Abium's manor while staring at all the new buildings and became more impressed.

Helena even saw the new adventurer's guild built near the town square and nodded her head.

'That Dwarf Kuran had done a great job.' She praised him inside her mind, and both soon arrived in front of Abium's manor.

Before she could walk in, a green-haired girl who wore a princess dress flew from inside and crashed on Helena's blossom.

''Camilla! I missed you so much.'' Helena embraced that 140 cm tall girl with both of her hands and said excitingly.

''Teheh, Big Sis! Where is my candy!?'' She looked up into Helena's eyes and asked with puppy eyes, which made Helena's smile bloom brighter.

Helena took out a red cubic crystal like sweet from her spatial ring and placed it on her palm with a smile.

''Fire candy!!'' A surprising sound came out of Camilla's mouth as she stared at the candy with sparkling eyes, and soon she turned into a small fairy. Following that, she hugged that Fire candy with both of her tiny hands, dragged that candy towards Helena's shoulder, and began to eat.

Aliza became dumbfounded by Camilla's sudden transformation and became totally stunned inside.

'Fairy!' She exclaimed to herself in shock.

At the same time, Helena gave a light pat using her finger on Camilla's head and walked into the manor while Aliza followed after her hurriedly.

Soon, they walked into the main hall and arrived in front of the reception hall.

With a light push, Helena opened the reception door and walked in.

''Welcome back, miss.'' A rough voice came from inside, and soon Helena saw a long gray-haired man around 55 years old sat on the wooden chair with a smile on his face. He had scarlet eyes, olive skin, and a round face. He wore a blue overcoat, which fell from his shoulder to halfway down his legs, and large black boots. Although he looked good on the outside, Helena saw his life force was decreasing and became serious.

She nodded her head at his greeting and soon arrived in front of Viper without saying anything.

Then, she placed her hand on Viper's chest and said solemnly.

''Nature Heal.''

The next moment, a bright green glow came out from her hand and entered inside his body.

A second later, he felt warmth feeling spreading all over his body and became shocked.

'Her healing spell effect already got increased by three folds!' Before he could say anything, Helena placed a scroll on the table and spoke solemnly.

''Abi asked me to give this to you, old man. He said a potion was hidden in this temple ruin and asked you to go to that place and search for it. Once you found this potion, he asked you to go and meet him at Siverland City.''

Hearing her words, Viper's eyes widened.

'Cure!' That was the first thought crossed through his mind as he opened the scroll and became excited. Seeing Viper completely focused on the scroll, Helena let out a long sigh and walked out of the reception hall with Aliza and Camilla.

'I have to find that drunken dwarf and tell Abi's plan to him in detail.' She thought to herself.
