Rebirth: Over the Horizon

As soon as Adam exited the portal he was greeted by a horrifying scene, a human body flew towards him. 

Arsha quickly stepped forward and cut down the body into two with her sharp wooden sword. 

Even while blood spurted out of a fellow human and stained his face, Adam eyes and heart didn't waver. 

However, his body wasn't as strong his brain, his hands started to tremble out if instinct. 

"Abyss Angel" 

The majestic black spear which can also be used as a staff formed on his hands, 

Adam rushed forward while gnashing his teeth after spotting many corpses on the ground. 

The demonic beasts were running rampant on the grounds, the creatures had lengthy furs and large fangs with a red pupil which went in contrast with their purple skin. 

[You are being invaded by vermin grade Purle demonic wolves] 

The creatures were fast nimble, even though they died they killed at least 2 humans before meeting their doom. 

"Dark Cloud"

At his words many dark clouds formed on the sky, they were not the usual dark clouds that would appear when the sky is about to downpour. 

They were very dark, like a the night without moon. Heavy blows were delivered to the demonic beasts standing on the surface. 

"ALL OF YOU ATTACK!!"

A huge devil who was wearing a white robe manifestation formed on the dark sky it was perfectly contrast to the night sky. 

The devil wielded the invisible scythe which had almost disappeared in the black sky. 

It swept through the battle field and cut off the many heads and other body parts of the demonic beasts. 

The Abyss Angel cut through tens of Demonic beasts in an instant, Adam quickly arrived at the centre of battlefield. 

He spotted, Alumig who was fighting with hundreds of Demonic beasts with his orge troops. 

8 swords pourted out of the rippling air, the swords went at different directions and created bombardment in the enemy packs. 

At that same time, his hands were busy cutting through the demonic beasts heads and body parts. 

Then, who did they defended?

The wood elves perfectly Co-ordinated with very orge and humans, while the combatants were attacking the beasts. 

Wood elves took care of their defenses, HP and MP. 

'Tch...My MP has been greatly depleted!' 

Adam sighed as his spear cut through the leaping beast which came impossibly close towards his face. 

However at that moment he felt his arms muscles being teared off. 

"Ahhh..." 

A soft cry of pain came out his mouth and his eyes fell upon the red-eyed wolf like creature which was vigorously clinging on his arm imprinting it's deadly fangs. 

"Damn! It's tenacity is high!" 

Adam swirled his weapon and the sharp blade pierced the abdomen of the demonic wolf. 

He stabbed it to the ground and turned over to face another. 

Midst of the choas a powerful howl sounded. 

"HOWWLLWL..." 

[Master grade Boss: Demonic Alpha has Appeared] 

At that moment, A blue circle firmed under his foot, it was in purple color and had many glyphs imprinted on it.

The circle constantly glowed and dimmed illuminating his whole body with purple light. 

"Lord, Please don't worry! I have got your back." 

With no doubt, Adam already knew whose voice it was, the wood elf queen was going all out. 

"I trust you, Arsha!"

Adam used the light spell, and quickly healed his wound. 

Alumig was fighting against the boss: Demonic Alpha. 

Demonic Alpha, it was the master grade demon who was leading the current invasion against his Army. 

After cutting countless of his subordinates, Adam had finally reached the location were Alumig was combating. 

'Shit, the most frustrating thing is they don't even give large amount of EXP!' 

Even after slaying 100+ demonic wolves Adam's level only rose by 2.

The demonic Alpha was 4 times larger than the normal demonic wolf, it fangs were silver and seemed like it had poison in it. 

The speed and the strength both of the state were alos very superior, Adam could see that Alumig was constantly using 'Blink' just foge the opponents attack. 

There was no opening for the ogre to launch an assault. 

"Dark fire swordsmanship" 

"Light Steps" 

At the moment, Alumig casted to spells and his slender sword was warped by a black flame and his speed increased by 3 folds. 

Finally, he was able to fight on par with the Demonic Alpha, however Adam could visibiliy notice his skin turning pale as time passes by. 

'Why does this subordinate of mine, always tries to put himself in danger.'

Bu this time, Adam had already guessed that Alumig couldn't last for more than a minute. 

"Cyro-frezze" 

The dozens of beasts which surrounded him instantly became the frozen statues, without taking a gap. 

Adam swiftly broke the statues and rushed towards the demonic Alpha. 

"Flame Erupt"

A huge fiery red circle formed underneath of the Demonic Alpha and Sky-roaring flames washed the demonic Alpha. 

At that Alumig was already at the fainting state, "Arsha!" 

"Yes, My lord!" 

"Quickly bring Alumig to the camp base." 

"But..." 

"Arsha, Alumig will die if we let him be! Quickly Go! There is no time to waste!" 

"Mhm!" 

Veins started to warp around Alumig and Arsha quickly carried him and rushed towards the camp. 

As they retreated his flames had also vanishes from the scene, the demonic Alpha's fur was burned to crisp but, the beast didn't seemed like it took much of damage. 

"HOWLLL..." 

The demonic Alpha leapt in air and made a beautiful parabola, Adam quickly moved out of it's angle. 

But, at that instant, a heavy blow was experienced by Adam in his Solar pelvics. 

The demonic Alpha which should landed few meters apart from accurately landed on Adam's chest. 

"Ahhh...pufff..." 

Adam was sent flying and landed on a huge boulder, his body helplessly slid down and blood came gushing out of his mouth. 

"Medusa!"

His dark servant appeared before him, "Stall time for me!" 

The snake girl nodded her head and nimbly moved towards the demonic Alpha. 

However, the beast was way past her league, even if it was strong it looked dumb. 

It ignored Adam, and seriously exchanged blows with medusa. 

'You dumb beast....You are going to die!'
