Rebirth: Over the Horizon

Adam did not return to the ice field, but came to the edge of the Withering Path, which is in the interior of the Warcraft Mountains.

Both Leon and Xian were already waiting for him there, as soon Leon got a sight of Adam, he waves his hand and ran beside him. 

"Guildmaster!" 

"Guildmaster!"

Two voices fell on Adam's ears, "Hey, why are you calling my Guildmaster, Guildmaster?" 

"Ah, I thought his name was guildmaster?" 

"You are so stupid! How could a person have 'guildmaster' as his name?" 

"Why can't one?" 

"You slave! You have to call him-" 

"Why are you calling me 'slave'! I am Xian!" 

Seeing their quarreling Adam wasn't able to prevent himself from sighing, it was agreeable for this baby boss to argue however Leon... 

"Leon, you have teleportation scroll right?" 

"Ha, yes I have a bulk of them." 

"Then, take three out, let's go back to guild HQ, it's already been more than 12 hrs." 

"Yes, guildmaster." 

Adam saw waitied for Leon and Xian to disappear first, while Leon instantly tore the shiny scroll. 

The boss baby clumsily played with the scroll and stared at it for quite some time, then he teared it into two. 

Adam's gaze fell into the distance inside the Warcraft Mountains. "Let's go back for now."

Above a certain swamp, Ryukyu circled around the area while sitting on top of his pet eagle Jim, attracting numerous swamp monsters

However, no matter how hard these monsters tried there was no way they could fly. 

Their only chance to defeat the eagle was when the Jim descended towards ground and confronted them. 

Jim's speed was too fast and his figure is too agile, he sharply descended towards the ground then his sharp claws easily tore the opponent's defense. 

Seeing that Jim was about to hover again, Ryukyu leaped and ran towards a tree. 

Then he aimed at the monsters and arrow embedded with red fire shoot towards these demonic swamp monsters. 

Upon hitting them his arrow exploded and delivered them their death, Ryukyu felt happy seeing the notification. 

[+1.4 city points] Compared to before, Ryukyu clearly felt that it was a lot easier.

Just when he was about to leave this place, "Ahh..." his ars got yell of a person. 

"Jim, quickly take me to the place where the sound came from..." 

The eagle nodded and flapped his wings and quickly went towards the place where the ear-piercing sound resounded from. 

When Ryukyu got to the scene, he spotted three humans in desperate state. 

Opposite to them stood a ugly creature, Ryukyu didn't know what the thing is, it's head seemed like demonic monkey. 

It's body was made up of scales of Demonic lizard and it's head was long and white. 

Instead of it's right hand, there was snake dangling from his right arm. 

While he tried to asses the situation, a new screen popped up before him.

"Eyes of Truth" 

Ryukyu tired casting his newly acquired spell on the chimes yet again another window appeared before his eyes. 

[Demonic Chimera: The creature was formed when the evolution wave was hit on these animals. 

A set of dying animals where nearby each other and had an abnormal will to live, the bodies of these animals merged and they become one.] 

[Skills: ???] 

[Age: 4 days]

He was instantly stunned by seeing this scene, he quickly landed on the nearby tree. 

The three people was clenching their teeth hard and was holding on their life there. 

The frontier one held a shield the next held a long sword and the last one held a staff. 

"Ah..." 

They were startled by a green Arrow which suddenly pierced the ground besides them. 

A light green magic circle containing many glyphs spread through the ground, then it started to heal the humans who on the brink of death. 

Getting a glimpse of this scene, the demonic chimera darted forward with huge blood lust. 

Another three arrow flew towards the chimera and thre magical chains binded it's body and the monster was halted in its position. 

After temporarily binding the monster in its position, Ryukyu leapt from the ground and revealed himself.

At the same time, Jim also circled above in the sky. 

"Are you all from Magitaricks guild?" 

"Huh, Yes. We were hunting monster in this place but our party was annihilated by a group of elite demonic lizards ." 

"We were left with no choice but to run fir our life, however on the way we encountered this terrible monster. Anyway, thank you were healing us." 

Ryukyu nodded his head and said "Even though I have healed you to some extent. You will return back to your originally state in few hours." 

"If we want to leave this place we have no other choice other than fighting against this chimera." 

The trip nodded their heads and prepared themselves for facing against these terrible monster. 

"I am an archer, Ryukyu." 

"Ah, then you are demon arrow!!" 

"It's bit embarrassing hearing you guys calling me by nickname, anyway, I will help you from behind. So, don't worry we can definitely defeat this monster." 

"Okay." 

Jim moved behind and took out his golden arrow, while there was still time he decided to cause a huge explosion where the demonic chimera was binded. 

"Boommm..." 

The explosion greatly resounded but unfortunately, it was defended by the chimera, the monsters body was covered a in blue shield. 

Nevertheless, the shield wasn't able to resist against the explosion and shattered into pieces, yet the demonic chimera only received small amount of damage. 

The man who was holding the shield rushed forward while pulling the aggro to himself. 

The girl who wore a blue robe had long ears and seemed to be an elf, "Vines erupt." 

As soon as Ryukyu's bind weared off, the vines wrapped around the chimera's body and again sealed it's moment. 

The man rushing forward, bashed his shield into the head of the demonic chimera. 

"Bam!" 

However, it didn't seemed to cause much damage, the snake suddenly straightforward and tried bite his hand which was still pushing his shield. 

At that moment a arrow sharply pierced the throat of the snake and it went through the thick scales of chimera. 

The snake died then, "Kieeee!!!" 

A huge roar came out of the demonic chimera's throat.
