Zion got the tip-off to his team and Himuro got the ball, he was doing good at playmaking and his team was scoring all the time with his plays

Kagami was trying more close-shots and hitting it

Trent was using his footwork to confuse his market and shoot, he was hitting half of the times thanks to his training, in a good day this would be more

Zion was unstopable behind the rim, he got rebounds, blocks, layups and the other team couldn't do anything about it

The first game ended with a scoreboard of 52-29

The crowd was amazed because they thought this was a team of one man

This was a result from the game where Shin scored all the points and they thought Shin was the only one that was good in the team

Some time passed and they again walked to the court to play the 2nd game, the coach said this was a team of mostly passing and shooting the ball

So they put a strategy on work, that was to pressure the marker and intercept the passes

To do that they put Kagami in the center of them making one person from the other team free, they would probably pass to that person, but what they didn't know was they got caught on a trap, Himuro was already looking attently to these passes and stealed every ball passed to him

This put the opponent's team with the morale down and Kagami started intercepting the passes that they hesitated a bit

The game continued with a one-side massacre from Shin's team and the game ended up with a scoreboard of 57-19

More games passed and they had more time to rest now, because playing three games in one day was very tiring

The 3rd game started after lunch and they entered the court again

The team they were playing against losed all the games until now, this team was focused more in defending and counter attacking

Unfortunately to them, the other team was speacilly good at attacking, they couldn't handle their attacking and got tired after just a quart, mostly because of the first two games

Shin's team that had more stamina, endured until the end and winned again by a doubled scoreboard 40-18, advancing their team to the next stage of the Nationals

They got to a place they could sleep to go back next day

Shin: "Good job, I'm glad that hellish training did pay off"

The others felt a shiver run down their spines remembering the training

Kagami: "O-Of course, we trained like crazy"

Himuro: "Uhum, Shin when will you play?"

Shin remembered what the coach said

Shin: "He said I would play when we had a hard game, probably when 16 or 8 teams would be left"

Kagami shook his head and said

Kagami: "Why you got so famous with that video"

Shin: "Well, probably because I did a lot of points and cool moves, the people like seeing satisfatory moves and a lot of points"

Day Two, Second Stage of the Nationals

The first games passed quickly and Spartanburg Day school winned their first game of the day, now it had the 16th best teams left and it was time to play again

Coach: "I saw our opponent's game today and saw they are taller than us, they will have a huge advantage inside our area, they have two players we need to be cautious about it, Isaiah Stewart the center and Keion Brooks their Power Forward, Zion remember your training about taller people than you"

Zion nodded and they started warming up, the coach said Shin wouldn't enter if the team was winning and didn't have a risk of losing

The other team was full of 9th grade players so it would be a very hard game to Shin's team

Announcer: "Game between schools Spartanburg Day, and La Lumiere will be starting in a moment"

The referee blow his whistle and threw the ball up, Zion lost the tip-off but got in defence position quickly

Isaiah had the ball and started a quick attack with Keion, they passed Zion defence and scored the first point

Half of the quart passed with a lot of trash talking and Shin's team losing by 7 points

Shin: "Tch, coach put me on the game please"

Coach: "It wouldn't help you go hot-headed to the court, trust a bit in your teammates"

Shin calmed a bit and concentrated in watching the game

The first quart ended with a score of 23-17

They seated in the bench to rest a bit and didn't said nothing

Shin was going to talk but got stopped by Himuro

Himuro: "Don't even think about joining the game, this game will be ours and we will win"

Shin said nothing more and agreed

The game started and they had the ball, they made simple yet efficient plays

Trent started scoring several points of three

In half of the quart they were only three points behind

The other team got scared and started to play using their bodies

They made several fouls making their situation worse, Trent was the one who most caused those fouls because they didn't want to let him make three points

With 30 seconds left before the game ends, they were behind by one point

The ball was with Isaiah and he was just passing the ball between his team to buy time

Himuro ran to steal the ball and caught it, but everyone on the other team managed to get back in time to defend

With 15 seconds remaining Himuro passed to Kagami

He jumped and pretended to go for a layup, he passed it to Zion who was running after him

With only 5 seconds left Zion jumped to shoot, and Isaiah jumped to block

But in the heat of the moment, nobody noticed Trent alone in the line of three

Zion passed to him with 2 seconds left

Trent received and shoot

1 second left...
