Reborn In KnB With Skills

The ball was being secured by Kagami. He was dribbling towards the opponent area and soon encountered Patrick.

He smirked and said, "This time I won't run."

Kagami rushed at Patrick with the ball on his dominant hand. Patrick didn't move and waited for him to come.

Kagami passed it between his legs and did a spin towards the opposite side he was going to. Patrick didn't seem fazed and just put a hand on the way, almost catching it.

Due to Kagami's faster reflexes he avoided losing the ball.

"You bast—"

"PASS KAGAMI!"

Trent shouted and Kagami unconciously passed to him.

'Wha—! That guy!' Kagami didn't show it but he got frustrated from not being able to pass Patrick.

Trent received the ball and he thought ot was time to show the results of his training.

Trent got in position to shoot and his marker approached him, but he suddenly got out of his opponent area.

It almost seemed like teleporting.

Oak Hill didn't get shaken by this and started attacking.

Casey the PG was using his Hawk Eyes to find flaws in their defense.

He saw one and quickly used by passing in the middle of everyone jumping to a layup.

Zion expected something like that and jumped to block him, he almost got his hands on the ball because Casey saw David alone in the three lines and passed to him.

David scored with ease and returned to his side of the court

About two minutes passed and both Shooting Guard from the teams were having a battle of who scores more threes.

Unfortunately, Trent missed two times in a row and David started catching up in points, Spartanburg decided to change strategy.

Himuro and Kagami started doing quick passes to each other to focus the marks on them before passing to Zion who got more chances to score.

He scored with a layup getting the balls away from the defenders.

The game got satisfying to watch with both teams scoring beautiful points, but slowly Oak Hill was catching up. In the middle of the quart, the scoreboard was 41-38 with Shin's team winning by three points.

The ball was in possession of Oak Hill and Shin was getting anxious watching the game, he wanted to join right now but the coach said he will join in the last two minutes.

Somewhere in the crowd, five persons were watching the game

Nash: "What do you think about the captain?"

?: "Really? Were these the guys you told me that could give us some challenge?" he said with an annoyed and disgusted look on his face.

Nash: "But what about the kid that played in the first half?"

?: "I'm not going to lie, he is really good, maybe his level of talent is comparable to ours, but he is too young yet and didn't have time to develop them enough. By seeing what he did back them, I bet he didn't open the door yet."

(A/N: He is talking about the third door, the one the GoM and Kagami opened, they have GoM level talent and GoM opened the door at 13 or 14 y/o, so the captain already opened)

Two Minutes Remaining

ScoreBoard: Oak Hill 49-48 Spartanburg

Shin entered the court and felt his legs were still a bit heavy.

'I can do it!'

He slapped his cheeks and went to play.

The crowd cheered loudly by seeing him entering the game again.

Shin was attacking now and didn't want to waste time, so he quickly looked to Himuro in his left and passed the ball to Zion on his right.

Zion received and ran until he got under the net. He jumped, getting two markers to jump with him too, and passed to Trent since he was free.

It was obvious they would mark Shin since he was the biggest threat in the game right now.

Time Remaining 1:43

Tyler got the ball and passed to Casey, he started using his Hawk Eyes again and scanned the possibilities. He saw David running to get open close to the sidelines.

Unfortunately for him, Shin saw that too, even if still was a downgraded version of the Hawk Eyes it could cover an entire half of the court.

Casey passed but got intercepted in the middle of the way.

Shin ran and no one could catch up to him. He easily scored two points creating a gap between both teams.

Time Remaining: 1:28

They tried attacking again and passed to Tyler who used his body force to pass by everyone. Zion who trained to stop taller people than him got there and stopped him by using his body force too, thought he was getting slowly pushed.

Shin saw Tyler was too focused on Zion and used this chance to steal the ball.

Casey: "Watch Out!"

Shin saw Himuro running alone in front of everyone and passed to him.

Himuro scored with ease without someone to defend.

Time Remaining 0:57

They started getting frustrated and doing worst than they would do normally.

Casey got mad because none of his plays worked against them, this blinded him because he wanted to prove to everyone he was better and tried to pass Shin.

Shin just smiled at him and said it so low no one could hear it.

"Level 1"

*VOUSHHH*

He stole again and ran to the other side of the court.

He was too fast and no one could get to mark him on time when he scored again.

Time Remaining: 0:39

Casey got even more hot-headed than before and tried something stupid.

He ran to Shin again but this time, he wasn't thinking right and tried to hit Shin's head with his elbow.

Shin had inhuman reflexes and in a blink of an eye, two glowing red circles appeared around his cat-like pupil.

Everyone in the gym suddenly felt their body heavy and felt an uncomfortable feeling.

Shin raised his hand quickly but it strangely seemed slow to everybody. Before the elbow hits Shin's head it encountered a hand in the way.

"What do you think you are doing?"

Shin's eyes seemed to have stretched even more than normal. An opressing feeling came from him and Casey felt chills all around his body.

Shin put some force in his hand and Casey squirmed in pain from it. He quickly got his elbow out of Shin's hand and looked over his shoulder at him while sweating cold.

Shin stood still while staring at him, his expression more serious than ever.

The referee gave Casey a foul by purposely trying to hit Shin.

Shin got two free throws and scored both.

Time Remaining: 0:13

They tried to make the last point to try to regain their honor, Tyler got the ball and tried to pass with agility by everyone, but what he encountered was Shin, with two red glowing circles in his eyes.

Shin: "You don't deserve the ball, Level 3."

*SHUOSHH*

What happened? No one saw it properly.

Shin approached the rim and jumped so high that people thought he was flying. His hand almost touched the rim and he finished with a layup.

*PEEEEEEEM*

End of the Game

ScoreBoard: 60-49 Winners Spartanburg Day

Silver: "Did you see that Luck?"

Luck nodded while smiling, he heard a little crack from the door.

Luck: "It seems he is better than I expected"

REALLY IMPORTANT.

Hello guys, it's been a while. I would've written everything on the author notes but I think many people don't read those neither do I think there will be enough space for me to put everything I want to write on it.

First things first, I have 8 chapters on draft to post, but their quality is horrible, I feel ashamed when I read them these days. I don't think I'll be in the mood to edit them but we'll see (this one is also unedited). Second, I don't even remember what I had planned for this story or the characters so things might get a little strange on later chapters. This is basically it?

In the end of the day, this was only a third-rate fanfic but many of you showed this a lot of love so I'll try my best to return most of it in the form of writing.
