Reborn princess: I will change my ill-fate

Thud~

The knife pierced through the wooden door creating a loud bang, forming cracks on the door.

A knife was aimed for him. It was aimed for his head. It rendered him speechless. Gulp~ he gulped down the huge lump of saliva struck in his throat, trying to gain his senses. His eyes searching for any potential dangers surrounding him.

Tsk~ black shallow of death clicked his tongue, " Coward, " The boss commented, observing the subordinate reaction, " You should have left the troop already if you are scared out of your wits like this. It's just a prank, can't you even get a hold of the situation? Huh? "  The boss said nonchalantly, without a care in the world.

These words were enough for him to hit back to reality. He is literally hopping mad from the ground.

But he can't say that loud, so he instead yelled at top of his lungs, " The hell is wrong with you boss. You fu*ker. Are you planning to kill me. Don't you know how precious is my life. Do you even care about those comrades who walked through thick and thin with you in this life? Are you really planning to become a devil? I thought you had the so called conscience. Fu*k you. Why are acting like that monstrous big boss of yours.  What if the knife hit me? Who will be responsible for this pitiful death. "

Black shallow of death took a stone from his pocket. He wrapped his palm around the stone, then flung it hard towards the guard's calves.

The guard winced in pain as he staggered in a sorry plight. His hands immediately grabbed his right calve, rubbing to ease pain, while battered out of his senses listening to the boss.

" There's no if. If I aim for a target, then it should hit for sure, " The boss gaze seemed deadlier than before.  The boss is definitely glaring at the guard like wanted to kill him. No, this is a perfect example of the phrase, if looks could kill, " Swearing? Why don't you go back to the camp and train for few months? You sure got big mouth to curse me behind my back. "

There is an anger suppression in the boss voice, as though he is trying to suppress his killing intent under his breath, as his voice came more harsher than usual.

The guard gave a smug smile, " Sorry to say this, but this time your arrow won't reach the target you aimed for. I think target should be changed. "

Hehh~ the boss chuckled lightly, " Then its not the problem of the target, it's the problem of the direction. If one plan won't work, then we need to set up a back up plan and should wait for the end result. One shouldn't back down that easily. Everyone will let their guards down on one point. Just need to wait for the right time and should make a blow. "

The guard replied, " It's not that easy to come up with a back-up plan this time. I think we should just stop it here, otherwise it's waste of our time. "

Black shallow of death: " The final decision is in my hands. I should be the who should terminate the mission. You just say what you know, " He roared back, knowing it's his line. It's already beyond his patience level.

As his words went inside guards ears, the smug smile returned to his face, " Ho. For that to know, you need to wait. Cause, I forgot what was that. So why don't you do a thing. I am hungry right now. Since you are a restaurant owner, why don't you give me some food for free? Don't worry, the information is as worthy as the food in your famous restaurant. " He then winked at the boss.

" Devil..... " Black shallow of death repeated as he nodded his head understandingly.

Black shallow of death turned to face him, and gave him a conceited smile. Cracking his necks bones on the either side, he simply leaned over the chair. His legs crossed over each other, while his hands rested on the chair arms.

" You sure worked hard to remember all those words. But you don't remember the most important. Since you were like this, then I should simply cut your head already. " He warned him, as every word landed with a sharp and even more harsher voice.

" Bleh~ you are no fun. My time is very precious. It's your fault to come late. I had to wait two whole fu*king hours to meet you. But you, came and threatening me to tell the information. Do you know how precious is my time. And here I am, playing with you. I would have got loads of cookies  and snacks if I were in palace from many maids. My beauty is unrivalled among the knights. "

" Yet here you are, not even feeding me even though I already told you I am hungry. This is too much. You are only caring about weighing my usefulness. You have changed. I only come rarely. Yet you are not feeding your little Comrade brother, " He sighed feeling down. Well, he just acted as if he was hurt. In reality, he knew, his boss black shallow of death never hurts his comrades and will always think of their life before anything.

And who wants to train under that monster. That boss of yours will skin me alive if I make any mistakes. The hell  I will go. If you say more,then I will simply stay here in seazle empire. They even provide food and train me diligently. "

'' Life is so simple here and no need to worry of death and I don't have to always worry about getting killed, even needn't to be on high alert while sleeping. I even got many new friends, they are all so nice to me. So if we  fight, then what should I answer them when they question me if I were to get hurt here?
