Reborn: The Unexpected Twist

Chapter 143 - Beat up

For hours, Lee Jinhee laid down on the same place in her bed, thinking about the matter from earlier. Even after hours, she couldn't muster up enough energy to face Han Taehee.

The sound of her phone ringing distracted her attention, and searching around on her bed with her left hand— as she kept on staring at the ceiling— Jinhee let out a sigh.

She wasn't in a mood to talk to anyone.

Finding her phone, she picked it up with her left hand and bought it up to her face. Han Taeho's name was written on the screen.

Jinhee had an idea regarding why he would be calling her. Receiving the call, Jinhee put the phone down on her bed.

"So, you know about it now," Han Taeho stated from other side.

Knowing what he was referring to, Jinhee answered, "Hmm."

"You must be shocked, right?"

"Hmm," Jinhee replied. She had no idea on what to say other than this.

"Well, since Taehee pestered me to call you—"

Interrupting Taeho, Jinhee questioned, "Is his name even Taehee?"

Taehee was a name for a girl, and now that Taehee was revealed to be a boy, his actual name could be something different— something suitable for a male.

"It's better to ask him to introduce himself," Taeho voiced out, "Anyways, I know you might feel hurt since you're really close to him in your past life, but Taehee has a reason behind it. You should try asking him."

"I-I don't know about it," Jinhee voiced out.

"Jinhee, I can't force you to if you don't want to. But if you don't ask him, it will be you who will be suffering the entire time over it and Taehee as well.

No matter how you look at things, Taehee never thought of hurting you, although due to his immature personality he does it at times."

Jinhee just kept on listening as Taeho voiced out those words. Never did she imagine having such a conversation with the person who deliberately murdered her in her last life.

Would it be better for her if she ran away from all of this things and move to somewhere far? Would that take away all of those emotions she currently felt?

Lee Jinhee felt guilt towards Han Taehee. Taehee helped her in numerous ways in both of her lives, and Jinhee could never repay her. Regarding this matter, Jinhee did not want to accuse Taehee wrongly without knowing the entire situation.

However, no matter how much she wanted to think logically with her brains, her emotions were the true problem. They did not go in the way Lee Jinhee wanted them to.

"Just don't try to hide, and let him explain everything. Both of you won't be hurt from this. You might even find out why he hid everything from you in your last life as well.

You might think that Taehee did not find you trustworthy or close enough to inform you on this matter in your last life. However, it's not right to confirm anything without knowing everything accurately," Taeho voiced out.

"I'll see what I can do," Jinhee answered.

"It will be alright," Taeho voiced out, "I'll be hanging up now."

As Han Taehee hung up the call, Jinhee mumbled, "It's funny how my murderer is giving me advices."

Shaking her head, Jinhee spoke out, "No, no, no, Lee Jinhee, you can't be like this. You are not the loser you were in your previous life. You can't let such situations put you down."

Sitting up, Lee Jinhee put on a wide on her face and resolutely voiced out, "Hwaiting, Lee Jinhee! You definitely can't let your second life go to waste. Stop thinking hard about it, and if you can't control your emotions at the end, just beat up Han Taehee."

A determined expression sat upon her face.
