Reborn: The Unexpected Twist

Chapter 276 - Solely belong

Lee Jinhee let out a groan after she sat on the car after washing all those classroom, and tiredness could be seen on her face. Glancing at the clock in front of the car, Jinhee read the time— 7:30.

It took them lots of time to clean all of those classroom, and Jinhee had to blame that upon Taehyun, who sat beside her whole wearing a wide smile on his face.

He made the entire work really difficult for her. She had an idea that he had something planned in his mind when he easily agreed along with the Principal's idea to help her clean the classrooms.

Jinhee had no problem in admitting that she would have been able to finish everything earlier if she had worked on her own. Taehyun threw the entire water on to the floor once and got her completely drenched, leading her to change into her gym outfits.

Although it was annoying to Jinhee, she had to admit that it was somewhat fun, and at the end of the day, the janitor decided to do the job on his own seeing how the two of them were only creating messes.

Jinhee did not have a problem agreeing with that because she was well aware that as long as she was with Han Taehyun those classes will never be cleaned regardless of how much effort she put in. Taehyun will surely be making a mess out of it.

After all that screaming at Taehyun and running due to him, Jinhee found herself feeling completely exhausted, and closing her eyes, she leaned back against the soft material of the car.

She found herself drifting on to her Dreamland, and as she was doing so, Taehyun's eyes were upon her, watching her going to sleep with a smile on his face.

Extending his hand towards her, he pushed back the bangs which sat on top of her forehead before bringing his face closer to her and placing a kiss on his forehead.

A small smile sat on his face.

"Sleep well, Jinhee-ah."

Yawning, Jinhee sat up on her bed, and she had no idea on what the idea was. Stretching her arms, she realised that the lights were all off, and a figure slept beside her.

Then, she recalled about how she had fallen asleep in the car, and staring at the figure beside her, she had an inkling that Taehyun was the one who brought her here.

A small stretched on her face, and that's when, she recalled about why she had woken up. The hunger, which was annoying her stomach, caused her to wake up at that moment.

Deciding to not wake Han Taehyun up, Jinhee pushed the blanket off of her, and with the help of the dim lighting, she carefully got down of the bed, making sure that she was not stepping on top of Taehyun mistakenly. That would be horrible.

After she has managed to get down of that bed, a sigh of relief left her mouth, and turning her back to face Taehyun, a small smile formed on her face.

At this moment, he appeared to be extremely attractive and peaceful while sleeping, and she could see that he was out of his disguise.

These days, it did not seem to her as if he was that careful when it came to his disguise— like he waiting for someone to look past his disguise.

Bringing her face closer to him, Jinhee placed a small peck on top of his forehead. She had no idea on why she had done so; It was merely that she had the sudden urge to do so all of a sudden.

Raising her head, she took one last glance at Han Taehyun before turning her back on him and waking towards the direction of the door slowly, making sure that she was not making a sound.

Taehyun was sleeping peacefully, and it would bother her to wake up. Extending her hand towards the direction of the door, she held the handle and pulled open the door before exiting the room.

°°°

The kitchen was completely quiet, except for the sound of Jinhee pouring the cooked noodles on to her bowl.

At that moment, she recalled how Jinkyung tried to get her in trouble once only to result in Jinkyung getting burned. Karma really existed!

As Jinhee was about to walk towards the shelves to get herself a pair of chopsticks, she felt someone grip on to her shoulder, and feeling someone's presence like this all of a sudden gave Jinhee quite a shock.

A scream left Jinhee's mouth as she turned her head back and closed her eyes tightly. She was already somewhat frightened by working alone in the kitchen, and therefore, this just scared her.

Hearing laughs, Jinhee knew who that voice belonged, and she immediately moved back from that hand. Raising her line of sight, she glared at the smiling boy in front of her.

Her heart beat rapidly within her chest, and raising her hand, she touched her chest in order to calm it down.

"Yah! Han Taehyun, I was really close to getting a heart attack!" She exclaimed.

Taehyun let out a chuckle and vocalised, "Don't worry! I am pretty sure that your heart is too healthy for that in this moment!"

Jinhee scoffed and said, "This is no funny matter, Taehyun, and weren't you supposed to be sleeping? Do you even get appropriate amount of sleep, Han Taehyun?"

Shrugging his shoulder, Taehyun sighed and stated, "I tried to sleep, but the bed felt quite empty without you beside me. That was why I was unable to sleep."

"You greasy old man," Jinhee enunciated, "I have no time to entertain you at this moment; I have to finish these noodles before they get soggy."

Scrunching up his nose, Taehyun questioned, "You are not inviting me to share those noodles with you?"

"Of course not," Jinhee said, "These noodles solely belong to me, and there is no way I am going to share them with you."
