Reborn: The Unexpected Twist

Chapter 91 - Disciplined enough

As a mischievous smile sat upon his features, Min Hyunbin cautiously stepped towards the middle-aged man who was resting on his beach chair. In his hand was a crab.

Carefully, Hyunbin was about to place the crab on the middle-aged male's shoulder when he left his ear being pulled back harshly. The crab was released from his hand, and it walked back to the sea.

Holding his ear tightly, Jinhee bought Hyunbin away from the old man and stared fiercely at him when she removed her hand from his ear. Rubbing his reddened ear, Hyunbin stared at Jinhee with shock and anger.

"Yah! You, vicious lady, what do you think you are doing?!" Hyunbin exclaimed. "You ruined that fun of mine."

"Min Hyunbin, what do you think you're doing?" Jinhee slapped the back of his head.

"It seems that you are not disciplined enough. Do you even know who that man could be? What if he is someone more powerful than you? Didn't you already get terribly hurt once? You're more stupid than I originally thought!" Jinhee scolded.

"You nagging old woman, what do you eat to be that strong?"

'Say that to Taehee and see what she says. No, Jinhee, no, don't think about her.'

"That old man's face irritated me, so I just wanted this little crab to fix it. Now don't annoy me, old lady," Hyunbin voiced out— his eyes staring daggers at Jinhee. If it wasn't for her, he would have been successful with his prank.

Although half, the boy in front of her was her younger brother, and as his older sister, she was needed to take good care of him. Even though it was too soon for sisterly instincts to arrive, disciplining such a boy was fun.

"You're not going to do anything like that. Let's go and eat something light; I am starving," Jinhee expressed. Earlier, she skipped breakfast, and now, her stomach was crying for some food.

"Then, you go and eat, old lady. Don't drag me with you! Stop being an annoyance!" Hyunbin vocalised as he was about to turn around.

Looking at Hyunbin, Jinhee wondered whether or not he knew of his parents' past. If he came to know of her being his half-sister, what would he do?

"If you dare go near that man, I'll scream for help, Min Hyunbin," Jinhee said sternly, making Hyunbin halt in his steps.

Turning to face Jinhee, Hyunbin's eyes glared at Jinhee as he spoke out, "You, old lady, why do you want to annoy me so much?! Could it be that you're one of those fans of mine?"

Staring at Jinhee from top to bottom, Hyunbin commented, "Sadly, you're too ugly to be my fan."

Jinhee held in her urge to roll her eyes.

'We have almost the same face, you idiot!'

That's when, Hyunbin's stomach grumbled, and red coloured his cheeks slightly. Knowing that Jinhee had to act mature at this moment, she held in her urge to laugh by biting the inside of her mouth.

Raising her heels up, Jinhee patted Hyunbin's head and said, "Let's go and eat now. Alright?"

Softly slapping Jinhee hand from his head, Hyunbin said, "I'm not a little kid!"

"Don't you call me an old lady? Doesn't that mean you are a kid to me?" Jinhee arched her eyebrows.

Hyunbin scoffed. "Luckily, I don't have an older sister like you."

'If only you knew, Min Hyunbin. If only you knew.'

Playfully nudging Hyunbin's shoulder as they walked away from the beach, Jinhee voiced out, "Why? I think I'd make a good older sister. Certainly, if you are my younger sister, I would have set you straight, using the perfect methods."

Hyunbin felt a chill go down his back at that moment and thanked whomever did it for not making her his sister.

A woman in kimono stepped towards their table and placed a bowl of Okinawa Soba, from her tray, in front of Jinhee. She kept another bowl before Hyunbin and put down on the table two glasses of water.

With a polite smile on her face, Jinhee faced the waitress and, in Japanese, said, "Thank you."

The Japanese woman bowed before going to attend other guests. Staring at the Okinawa Soba in front of her, Jinhee did not waste a second and picked up the pair of chopsticks.

Holding the chopsticks with her hand, she dug in and picked up some noodles with it. A smile came on her face when the delicious taste touched her taste buds.

After she finished swallowing that down, she noticed that Hyunbin was staring at him and gave him a quizzical look. Did he not like Okinawa Soba?

"You look like a pig!" He commented before turning his attention to his bowl and starting to eat.

What did she do to him now? Not only did she save him from trouble earlier, but she was also paying for this meal. Is this how he shows his gratefulness.

That's when, Jinhee's phone rang.
