MARCEL'S POV:-

Walking towards the God's Torture chamber, I see multiple lifeless people walking aimlessly. As we were walking, Morpheus was asking a lot of questions to me regarding everything that is going on here. The more he asked, the more expressionless his face became on the answers that he received.

When he asked about the Guardian and what their job is, I explained the basic reason for their existence in this world is to oversee the arrival of the new souls and bind them to a form of contract that sucks their life energy forcefully and makes them work for nearly eternity. The people look as if they are dead, as the only thing that they have left are their empty shells. All the memories they ever had or made vanish after they move to the God's Torture Chamber. Willpower isn't enough to help you out of that situation, and the stronger your will power, the longer you will be suffering in the chamber. I observed his face, which had little to no emotions, as he seemed to be pondering over whatever I said.

My eyes then turn to my friends and they too seem to be trying to read Morpheus as hard as they can.

He then asks about this world and where could the other Gods be and also about the strange energy flowing inside this place. I answered everything slowly and as detailed as I could. To be honest, even our network did not know enough to deal with what could be the right info about this world but after going through numerous hypothesis we came to the conclusion that there are 3 planes in this world. The 1st plane, where the new souls enter and a few Guardians control that place. This place is where the souls are bound and their bodies are sent to the next plane. There isn't much to this plane other than that strange road and building whose purpose is still unknown to us.

The 2nd plane, that is the working plane, is the place where the bodies of the ones who are caught are sent and made to work. It is where the conversion of mana into divinity occurs. I really don't know anything about that place other than that. He looks at me for a few moments before asking,

"What about the 3rd plane? Any idea," I observe him and then nod before speaking, "Well, there is one thing that we know about that place and that is that it's a paradise for the three Gods who have created this place."

He looks at me before sighing and pondering about something before asking more questions about the strange energy and other things at which I explain to him what divinity is and why it is so important to the Gods.

To put it in simple terms, divinity is an energy used by the Gods which is superior to any other form of energy. Gods use this energy to do various tasks and Godly things and the more energy or divinity they have, the higher their status is among the other Gods. Various Gods utilize various methods to increase their divinity and this world is one of the many ways Gods can take to increase their divinity.

He asked a complicated question as to why do they need divinity if they could just live at peace, which I couldn't answer, as I never really thought about what goes inside the minds of the Gods. He seems really confused at the moment before he sighs and says,"Well. no matter what the reason. What they are doing or what they have done is gravely wrong, they must pay the price. In the end that's all that matters I guess."

His expression once again turns serious as he concentrates on what is in front of him. I too focus on the place where our destination is.

LIGHT'S POV:-

I look at the person in front of me, Leraye, who seems to be glaring at me. He sighs a bit before asking once again,"So you're telling me Aether is gone for an unknown amount of time and you have taken over your body for the time he isn't going to be here? Tell me, mister Light, why should i not believe that you have taken over his body and imprisoned him somewhere inside your mind? You are, after all, proficient in Soul Magic."

I look at his mad yet furious expression, then observe everyone else from the Grim Verdict. Their expressions are as bad as Leraye's right now, and they seem to be controlling their urge to beat me as much as they can.

'Well…given it's you guys, even if I had tried hiding it. You people would have found me out in no time at all.' I think as I recall back the time where I had to explain who I am and why I am not Aether. Chase had a complicated expression on his face, but I couldn't care less about it. All I want is to settle things fast before I could start out the plans on which Aether was working for so many days.

I gulp a bit before speaking," Because…the one we are talking about is Aether?"

At my answer, or maybe it was a question, they make a bit of a stupefied expression before glaring at me. Then Lucy jumps at me and with fire mana on her fingers, she brings her finger close to my eyes before speaking," Give me one reason not to kill you."

"I will tell you what Aether thinks about you," I said as fast as I could. Knowing her personality, she…no it wasn't just her but everyone else in the room too. They made the same stupefied face once again before looking at me again. This time, they had a hint of curiosity on their face.

Lucy looks at me for a few moments before wondering about something and then speaking.

"How can I trust you?"

"You can sign a truth contract," I answer her, at which she nods and then says,"All right, tell me about it."

Her eyes had a bit of a glisten in them, which betrayed the professional pose and voice she had.

'Got one,' I think as I give myself a thumbs up for the smart move I just played. Then I look at Kaneto and say,"Aether had some plans about you in the future. Wanna know?" Kaneto looks at me for a few moments as he glares at me then sighs before speaking, "I want to know….but I would like to hear it from Aether's mouth and not yours. Well… I know that given Aether's antics he would have planned even for this moment long before any of this has happened. So I will trust him…I will trust his judgement." He speaks before leaving from there. Leraye looks at me for a few moments before sighing and signalling Lilith to move along with him. Slowly, everyone leaves before it is only Chase and me standing there.

COREY'S POV:-

I observe her with a slightly scared expression as I think about what is going to happen next. My hands are tied at the moment and no matter what I tried, I failed to escape from here.

"Tell me the truth kid. Who are you and why are you here? Surely it's not a coincidence for you to teleport to the same place as I am, is it?" She…Aisha speaks with a not so casual look on her face as she smiles at me with a strange weapon in her hands that was giving off a very dangerous aura.

"My name is Corey Eros and I am the brother of Light Eros and Chase Eros…" i tell her my back story and how Devils attacked us. Why? Because…somehow I knew…I knew that I would die if I lied, even for a speck of a moment. This girl is dangerous, this girl is dangerous…it was like an alarm going on in my head whenever I looked at her.

I kept on telling her, and she kept on listening to my words slowly and slowly. I reached the end of the story and told her how I blanked out before reaching here.

She looks at her companions, who then nod and confirm something. She looks at me for a few moments before a small smile appears on her face as she chuckles..before laughing out loud as she keeps looking at me. She kept laughing and laughing before she finally calms down and speaks,

"Dark has already killed a God, huh? Well, I am glad it wasn't dad who did it but looking at the situation, it won't be long before he gets in contact with a God…and sooner or later a real Higher God.. Sigh…i wonder if it is good news or bad news," She speaks a lot of things at once but my mind caught on only one word….Dad?!!!
