LIGHT'S POV:-

"Is that what you want? Why though?" Unia asks with visible confusion on her face.

"Just do it. I have a few plans after this mess is over. I do have to become the saviour of the Devils after all," I speak the obvious but Unia doesn't seem to buy it.

"You do? Why does it sound so suspicious?"

She rebukes.

'For someone who was literally broken by me, she sure overcame it fast,' I am amazed at her sudden friendly nature.

'Did something happen with her and my otherselves?' I mumble in a low voice as I look at her confused face.

"Leader, you are back!!" A cheerful voice comes from the other side.

"Hey Lucy, you look hot with all that purple fire around you. Ummm... I might need some help with that fire," I answer her with a question.

Unia looks at Lucy with an observing gaze.

"Yeah, what do you want me to do?" She answers me.

Because Unia is under disguise, Lucy doesn't seem to recognize her.

"Just wait for a second," I answer Lucy as I jump towards the Elf Princess Lia.

Chase, Corey and Lia are talking to each other.

Corey is healing Lia and Chase has his gaze fixed on Lia.

"That's interesting," I speak as I join them.

"Morpheus, you are back?!!!" They both seem quite happy to meet me. Their faces turned relaxed as they saw me.

'Well, they are kids after all.'

"I'll talk to you guys later about the first circle, now then, you are the Elf Princess, huh?" I speak to the group in a serious voice.

Chase and Corey flinch a bit. They looked like they wanted to speak something but stopped as they saw me move towards the princess.

Corey and Chase took a step away from us to give us some space.

Lucy and Unia followed me and reach near the group as well.

I activate [Mana Eyes],

'Ooh!' The magicules are surging around her, that is really something not to scoff at.

But she looks physically weak and a lot many bruises are present on her body.

'You pure thing, just what did those monsters do to you?'

I take out my dagger and stab her with it.

'She seems shocked at the sudden 'attack' '

The energy of the dagger enters the Princess and heals her at a rapid rate.

Vitality enters her body as she looks at me with a shocked gaze.

Soon I take out the dagger.

"Who are you?!?!!" She speaks in a fast tone as she grabs my arm.

"Aren't you an excited one? Well, if you can move that much, you should be able to help out this city. This should probably make things much easier for us," I speak to her as I think about how to use her capabilities to the fullest.

"Who are you?" She asks again.

Removing her hand I smile at her,

"I am Morpheus, just an apprentice mage, I took the commission from Zwain to save you. It isn't complete yet as I also have to save Eslaine, though." I answer her.

She looks confused at me.

'Doesn't look like she wanted this answer.'

"In any case, Princess, I need you to do something for the city, will ya?" I ask her as I continue to explain, "just go with those two idiots and this girl to the Scared Tree. You might find an old man with the Pixie Queen and the Wood Fairy Queen. Your work is to help the Queens to save the Sacred Tree." I then turn at Corey and Chase, "Phantasos, your work is to use light wood and water magic to help her out and Chase and Lucy protect her."

The three of them nod at me.

"Unia, take out your disguise," I command her.

She takes out her disguise which shocks everyone then scares...terrifies Lucy and Lia.

"Don't worry she doesn't bite anymore...probably," I assure them.

Unia glares at me before sighing.

"So Unia, once you finish the work I gave you, go to the top of the Sacred Tree and protect everyone from being killed there. I have a few questions I need to ask the superior enemies. They might have some crucial info I might need. Can't really let that information go to waste can I?" I speak to her with a wink at which she shudders and takes a step back.

Then she nods and vanishes from the area.

".." Lia

".." Corey

".." Chase

".." Lucy

The others are shocked at our exchange with Lucy and Lia having their mouth wide open.

"Who are you?" Lia asks again.

I smile at her and speak,

"I am Morpheus just an apprentice mage, I took comm-"

"Not that bullshit!!" Lia shouts with irritation in her eyes.

'Sigh'

"Hey Lucy, can you fire a high level spell on my dagger?" Ignoring Lia I ask Lucy.

Snapping out of her thoughts, she looks at me with a confused expression but still follows.

"[Burn]" She chants and a purple fire surrounds the dagger.

Soon the dagger absorbs the fire which charges it back up considerably.

"Thank you that helps a lot," I thank her sincerely.

"Who are you?" Lia blurts out subconsciously as she looks at our exchange.

"I am Mo-"

"Shut up!" She shouts as she looks away, she looks quite angry.

'That's amusing,' a playful smile forms on my face as I look at her.

Peeking at me she shudders at my smile and takes a step back.

Corey and Chase move in front of me covering her.

"Morpheus whatever you are thinking is wrong," speaks Chase with a focused expression.

'Sigh...these idiots.'

I turn to Lucy who is the mature one here.

"You really shouldn't do anything bad, Leader," she answers with sincerity.

".."

"Haah...I'm not going to argue on that," I speak.

A relaxed expression forms on those three idiots' faces.

'Aaah...what I'm gonna do with them,' I put my hand on my forehead.

Corey puts his hands on my shoulder.

I look at him.

"It is not a good thing brother, please don't be sad about it." He advises me. Not gonna lie, he looked quite mature there.

'Forget it.' I then wave my hand to signal them to move towards the Sacred tree.

After they left, I look around to observe the area.

"Now then, what to do next?" I mutter thinking about my next move.
