Reincarnated As Mizuki

After the previous display, various Jonin utilized some water style jutsu in order to clean the blood off of the ground, before deciding to continue the matches in a timely manner.

On the battlefield, the enemy would not wait just because of a little bloodshed, and so, neither would this year's chunin exams.

After Idate returned to the balcony, everybody was noticeably avoiding him, with the weaker genin showing him looks of fear, and the stronger showing looks of disgust.

Doto, clearly shaken by the previous match, shook it off and announced the next matchup.

Doto: "May Kakashi Hatake and Might Guy please enter the arena?"

Guy: "ALLRIGHT! PREPARE KAKASHI! FOR AS MY RIVAL, I EXPECT A BRILLIANT MATCH."

As he said those words, Guy winked before flashing his teeth, which were so white that they caused a glint as light bounced off of them.

In contrast to this, Kakashi simply leapt off of the balcony and landed at his spot.

The only similarity between them being how they both soundly avoided Idate, with even Kakashi being disgusted at his behaviour.

Doto: "Now, are you both ready?"

As he was a medical nin who did some of the initial healing on Anko, Mizuki offered his ȧssistance in helping to treat Anko.

An offer which was happily taken by the medics, as with the imminent threat of war, medical personnel had been stretched thin, the medical bay for the exams was understaffed and all worked rabbid, and hence, overjoyed at the prospect of some help.

Eventually, some time passed, and the medical team was able to stabilize Anko's condition and get her started on recovery.

There was also severe bruising along her back, stomach, arms, and even lungs, in addition to minor amounts of internal bleeding.

Mizuki ground his teeth slightly as he checked her diagnoses and used the mystic palm jutsu to heal up the bruising in some areas, and bandage others.

Seeing her condition stabilized, Mizuki and the rest of the medical staff all let loose a small sigh of relief.

Medic 1: "So, What you gonna do now Kid? Stay with your girlfriend"

Too lazy to correct him, Mizuki simply nodded as he pulled up a chair and sat down next to her, even if she was only predicted to wake up in a few hours and not now, he still would feel bad if he didn't visit her.

Mizuki was about to fall into a meditation in order to recover the chakra he had lost from the previous fight and his helping heal Anko, as negligible as it may be, but was quickly snapped out of it by a feeling of something warm brushing up against his hand.

Mizuki opened his eyes, and was surprised to see that in her "sleep", Anko had unconsciously reached out her hand which was now lightly grabbing onto Mizuki's.

The boy let loose a slight chuckle as he simply returned the action, and held her hand as he fell back into his meditation, now with a slight peaceful smile evident on his face.

Doto: "Now, are you both ready?"

Guy: "YES SENSEI! I AM READY FOR OUR MOST YOUTHFUL BATTLE!"

Kakashi simply silently nodded.

Doto: "Begin!"

Upon hearing the signal to begin, Guy was the first to make a move.

As his abilities in Ninjutsu were negligible, and his Genjutsu ability was even worse, Guy knew that he would have to engage Kakashi in Taijutsu.

Guy became a blur as he rushed towards Kakashi, his raw speed rivaling that of Lee in his chunin exams, with his also simply coming from extensive training of the body.

Although Kakashi was slightly surprised at such speed, he was able to quickly overcome it, as he weaved several hand signs before slapping his hands down on the ground.

Kakashi: "Doton: Earth Wave"

The ground moved in a manner reminiscent of a wave of water on the open ocean, as the ground rose and fell in a fluid manner.

Seeing the wave approaching him, Guy leapt over it, intent on coming down upon Kakashi's position, although he was surprised when his instincts flared up, demanding he move aside.

Surely enough, as soon as Guy dodged mid air, a streak of white chakra passed by where his shoulder was not two seconds prior

Kakashi let loose a tsk sound, as his chakra sabre had failed to meet it's mark, with his sneak attack failing.

As the Earth wave created a blind spot where he stood, Kakashi used this to his advantage to leap onto the wall and rush forward, only launching off of the wall once he saw Guy in mid air.

Kakashi then simply kicked Guy back in order to gain distance from the genin, knowing that he would need to keep some distance between the two of them.

Guy however, was able to quickly recover, as soon as he hit the ground, he used it as a launch pad, as he suddenly rocketed forward, leg extended, as he approached Kakashi at an incredible speed.

Guy: "Dynamic Entry!"

Seeing the oncoming attack, Kakashi quickly weaved another series of hand signs before again smashing his hands against the ground.

Kakashi: "Doton: Earth Wall!"

A wall of earth rose out of the ground, just in time too, as Guy rammed into it, causing the wall to shatter as he continued onwards, although by that point Kakashi was long gone.

Similar to how Lee would later use the Lotus in order to open his gates, Guy did the same with his Dynamic Entry.

Guy then rushed towards Kakashi, his already impressive speed only increasing.

Seeing this, Kakashi infused his blade with lightning, causing it to crackle slightly as he rushed towards Guy, with the former already in the midst of doing the same.

As the battle progressed, the two continued to engage one another in melee combat, with Kakashi using ninjutsu to his advantage in order to control the ebb and flow of the battle, which allowed him to have a slight advantage.

However, the battle began to draw to a close, as Guy realized that he would be forced to use the remainder of the eight inner gates that he could open in order stand a chance to win.

Guy kicked the ground and launched himself backwards as he then breathed out and focused.

Guy then began to open the gates, all the whilst Kakashi used the opportunity to generate a strong attack of his own, Infusing his chakra into the saber, causing it to glow a brilliant white.

Guy: "Fifth Gate: Gate of Limit OPEN!"

Guy's skin crackled as it turned Red, with his pupils dilating and large amounts of energy emitting from his body, causing even the Hokage to slightly tense.

The fighting continued, as Kakashi slowly dropped the kids gloves and began to increase his power, with his jutsu becoming more and more powerful, and taking less and less time to cast.

Eventually, Guy's transformation was worn off, and he was forced out of the fifth gate, as by this point several fractures had accrued along his arms and legs, and pushing himself any further could result in permanent damage.

However, despite knowing this, Guy refused to give up, and as such, fought through the pain, even though he could not re-enter the eight gates, he decided to try to fight him in base.

However, now that he could not use the eight gates, and that he was exhausted, the fight was as good as over, as Kakashi was able to easily knock him out in a sudden burst of Taijutsu.
