Basara wrapped his hands around the waist of Chika and Shiho and lifted them both upwards as he planted a kiss on their lips. Both girls were surprised by his actions, but they didn't mind as they began reciprocating his affections. Afterwards the two girls left to go and meet Yuki and Mio and tell them about everything that happened. They both had happy smiles on their faces. Basara went to cafe and bought his lunch and afterwards he went on the rooftop of the campus.

After entering the rooftop, his eyes directed at Yahiro, who was sitting on the floor and eating his lunch. He immediately looked up and gestured Basara to sir beside him. Basara accepted the kind gesture and sat beside him. Both of them ate lunch while conversinv with each other. After finishing lunch, both Basara and Yahiro returned to attend the rest of the classes.

Even after school had ended they stayed back, since today was club activities. Basara just looks around with Yahiro, while Mio and Yuki went to their own clubs.

Meanwhile, Yuki went to Mio's club to find Mio. After finding her, she said "Mio, come to the rooftop with me. I've something to talk with you." Mio just nodded her head and accompanied Yuki to the rooftop. Basara and Yahiro were currently drinking two juices they bought from the vending machine. Basara drank the juice while thinking in his mind 'For some reason, this seems familiar. Wait, I remember. This is...' Before Basara could finish his thoughts, the electricity went away as the entire place became dark. Yahiro was surprised as he said "It may a power shutdown. But usually this never happens."

In the distance, Basara could see three demonic beasts wearing a cloak over their bodies as their red eyes shone in darkness of the place. Basra couldn't help but sigh in his mind as he thought 'So cliche. I know here this is going. Even though the culprit stands right beside me, he acts totally aloof. Alright, I'll play along with your plans Yahiro. But I'll be sure to teach you to never underestimate me.'

When e saw the demonic beasts, Yahiro still acting aloof screamed as she said "What are those?! What's happening?!" Since Basara already decided to play along, he gave Yahiro a chop to the neck. He knew that Yahiro has already related down means to prevent himself from going unconscious. Yahiro fell down on the floor as Basara's hit truly mad shin unconscious, but immediately afterwards a magic circle appeared on his c.h.e.s.t that discharged electricity and it immediately woke him up. Yahiro thought that Basara's chop wouldn't be able to make him unconscious, but it did. He felt that that he had prepared that magical formation on his choice in awe he truly fell unconscious.

Yahiro didn't really know much about Basara, but according to his speculations Basara should be someone associated with the Hero clan or he might be even a hero. These speculations came from the fact that Yahiro knew that Yuki was someone sent by the Hero clan to keep an eye on Mio and eliminate her if necessary, the fact that Basara knew You and Basara even mentioned that they were childhood friends made him understand that Basara might be someone connected to the Hero village or he might very well be a hero himself. But why would a hero give shelter to the previous Demon Lord's daughter? That, he has no idea about. For the time. being, he just laid on the ground acting unconscious.

Basara just stood with a calm and laid back disposition as the air surrounded him began to compress and a single wind blew formed. It a blade of compressed wind. The wind blade immediately hit the three demonic beasts killing them all at once. Basara then teleported away from this place. In an instant, he appeared above the rooftop in the sky. He could see Mio and Yuki were on the rooftop. He alrwyd knew what this would lead to. Though he expected that it wouldn't go exactly the same as the original plot.

Mio looked around the roof as she asked Yuki "What do you want to talk about, Yuki?" Yuki friend towards her with a serious expression on his face.

"Mio, you should probably know that I'm a hero sent by the Hero village to observe you. I've even been given permission to kill you if your existence endangers the lives of innocent people."

"Yes, Basara had told me that you're here to observe me. But what does that have to do with our discussion?"

"Basara is someone very precious to the Hero clan. He's also someone very precious to me and his friends and family. He's a person who's ear to many and he is inarguably the most talented hero, even more so than his father Jin. But still even though he's far stronger than me, I can't just let him associate with anyone dangerous. Mio, yesterday I saw the love and affection you have towards Basara. I also saw the care and affection he had towards you. But you're a very dangerous person, being involved with you might even put Basara's life in great danger. So, I ask you to leave and stay away from him."

"Why?! I have given my everything to Basara! I will forever stay at his side, facing his opponents along side him and will support him no matter what. As long he himself doesn't want me to leave him, I've no intention of ever doing so." When Mio said those words, both Basara and Yuki were surprised. Especially Basara since he was their topic of discussion. Ethan didn't know that he'd left such a deep impression in the young lady's heart. He couldn't help but be very happy. Both of these girls were fighting over him, someone who people never cared about in his previous life. Ethan wasn't aware of it himself, but a small change began to appear in his mentality. He,who was always so lonely and cold felt a bit of warmth today that he'd only ever felt two other times. One was when he saw the recollection of his parents, while the other was with Kaoru. Thinking about the lady who had also given him her everything, Basara felt very guilty. But he resolved his mind to bring Kaoru to Tokyo as soon as possible and swore to give her plenty of love and care.

Meanwhile, on the rooftop things had started to hear up as Basara looked below to see everything.

"To be honest, I'm very impressed with your conviction. Then, fight me right here. Show me with your fighting spirit that you're worthy of being with Basara or not." Yuki then wasted no time and immediately summoned summoned Sakuya in her hands that were covered in a green aura as she unleashed her aura. Her hero hand guards and leg guards also appeared though her entire Hero outfit didn't appear.eaning she wasn't going all out and Basara could tell that she only released five percent of her aura. Though it might seem like she was underestimating Mio, she wasn't. Due to the Master-servant vow Mio's powers had greatly increased. But since she couldn't control it, she couldn't use much of it. That's why, Yuki only used five percent of her power so that their power levels will be equal and it'll be fair fight. But even if Mio was able to use all her powers it still wouldn't help cause when Yuki decides to go all out they'll be totally equal and with Yuki's enhanced battle senses, instincts, skills, an incredibly powerful sword like Sakuya and her experience; Mio simply doesn't stand a chance against her. Basara already knew Yuki had hidden powers too, since she was able to unleash those during her battle with him in the Hero village. If she managed to control their powers, her power level will jump straight to S Rank. And after forming the vow, she'll become S+ Rank.

Under normal circ.u.mstances, Yuki wouldn't even have to use one percent of her power, but due to forming the vow, Mio's strength had increased a great deal. Yuki is a AAA Ranked Hero and Mio used to be only A+ Rank but now her power has reached AA Rank after forming the vow. But the difference in power between AAA and AA is very high, so Yuki would only need to use five percent power since a AAA Rank Hero can take on twenty AA Ranked Heroes and still emerge victorious.

Yuki didn't waste time and slashed her sword in the sir forming a green colored that shot straight at Mio. Mio immediately formed a magic barrier in the form of magic circle in front of her. The arc collided with the magic circle and dispersed. Mio immediately formed two magic circles behind her that released two tornadoes at Yuki. When the tornadoes wereb about to hit her, Yuki just slashed her sword immediately dispersing the tornadoes. Mio then fired large fireballs at Yuki that she also disperse by cutting all of them in half with a single side slash resulting in them to disperse into thin air. Yuki slashes her sword downwards sending an horizontal arc at Mio. Mio again used wind magic to intercept the arc with two tornadoes but the tornadoes immediately dispersed and without stopping the arc. Mio quickly formed a magic barrier in front of her to defend herself against the attack. But when the attack hit her barrier, the attack destroyed the barrier while also dispersing. Mio was shocked that her powerful magic barrier was so easily destroyed. She used [Hellfire], which was a very powerful magic formed by mixing her gravity magic with fire magic to a pillar of very powerful flames. Yuki jumped upwards and when the pillar of fire was almost about to hit her from underneath she slashed her sword and dispersed the attack. The force of her slash was so strong that it created a strong torrent of air that caused Mio to fall on her b.u.t.t. She could've believe it, with just three attacks Yuki had defeated her! But Mio wouldn't give up so easily, no matter how may time Ashe falls she'll prove to Yuki that she deserves to be beside Basara.

Yuki landed on her feet in front of Mio. When she looked at Mio, the serious expression transitioned to her characteristic gentle expression.

"Mio, though you've lost. I've seen that in your attacks there exists a strong conviction. Your feelings for Basara are put into your attack. I could see it in your eyes, that you wouldn't hesitate to scarifice your life for Basara's sake. I can say with absolute confidence that you're worthy of Basara."
