When Zolgear saw that Basara emerged from the smoke unscathed, he was shocked. No one had ever managed to contend against his black flames and those who have been at least had a single burn mark on their bodies, Basara didn't even have a scratch on his body. When he saw the cold glint in Basara's eyes, for some reason, he felt afraid. He had never felt like this in his entire life. Zolgear knew that he had to deal with Basara immediately, otherwise his life would be in peril. He'd grossly underestimated the young man in front of him but now there's no point in holding back any longer. A black magic circle appeared below everyone that completely restrained their bodies. But Basara easily destroyed it with nothing but his intent. Zolgear again tried to stop him, but this time his eyes began shining as a black magic circle larger than the previous one appeared beneath Basara.

"Let's what powers you have, Basara Toujou." Zolgear then extended his hand to Kay it on Basara's forehead to inspect and take his power. But Basara again broke from the binding with his will. Zolgear immediately jumped backwards, understanding that trying to restrain Basara was futile.

Zolgear lifted both of his hands and a black magic circles appeared beneath him. Within a few seconds, his body turned invisible to the n.a.k.e.d eye as he began laughing.

"How will you defeat me when you cannot even see me boy?"

Basara just snorted at Zolgear's words. He would be able to see Zolgear very easily if he decided to use his [Transparency] skill. But Basara decided that the old fool wasn't even remotely worth it. He would defeat Zolgear with his other senses. All of Basara's five senses have been a trained to the extreme, the loss of one sense wouldn't be able to make him back down. The next moment Basara turned into a blur and something was sent smashing against the adjacent wall. Zolgear had been planted firmly into the wall as spider web cracks started spreading into the magically reinforced wall. Basara had used his incredible speeds to appear beside Zolgear in a moment and flick his side with his finger to send his flying to the wall.

Zolgear coughed a mouthful of blood due to the damage as the effects of his magic wore off. Zolgear took out a vial filled with a green liquid from his pocket. Basara immediately scanned the contents of the vial and found that it was a healing potion as well as a strengthening potion that would increase a person's strength by five times. Basara let Zolgear drink the potion since even that would be of any help to Zolgear. After drinking the potion, a black aura encompassed Zolgear's body as he began laughing menacingly.

He again shot balls of black flames at Basara. This time instead of just standing in one place, Basara began walking towards Zolgear with slow steps. All the black fireballs hit him as he didn't make any attempts to dodge or block them. But Basara was still left unscathed as he continued walking towards Zolgear. Zolgear immediately summoned a demonic sword in his hand and tried to slash Basara with it. The sword was covered with the darkness element giving each slash a corrosive aftereffect that would cause the victim's body to slowly erode. It would've been a lethal weapon against most people but not against Basara.

The moment the sword collided against his body it tried to cut into his flesh, but instead it got shattered into pieces. After taking his physical capabilities to the last level of SSS+ Rank, Basara's defences have become. incredibly strong. Such weak attacks wouldn't even put a single scratch on his pale skin. Zolgear immediately tried to jump backwards after his sword strike failed but he was stopped in mid air. Basara extended his right hand and grabbed Zolgear by his neck. He lifted Zolgear up into the air by tightly holding his neck. Zolgear's face started turning a bit pale due to the lack of oxygen as Zolgear.

Immediately afterwards stone spikes began emerging from the ground. Basara used his domain to create an intense pressure that shattered the earthen spikes before they were able to rise from the ground. He didn't have to look back to know that Zest had been the one to attack him. Then Basara tossed Zolgear to the side like a ragdoll as he got slammed into the wall. This wall was more durable than the last one but due to more strength used by Basara, the entire wall collapsed as Zolgear vomitted blood. He could feel that all the bones in his body had been completely shattered. Zest quickly walked to Zolgear's side and tried to help him get up but instead of accepting her help, Zolgear pushed Zest away from him.

"You damn bitch! You must be the one behind all this!"

"No, my Lord. I-"

"Shut up! Do you think I don't know what you think?! On your first day in the Human Realm when you were observing this boy and Mio, you wished that you were also Basara's servant. Did you think I didn't know that you were envious of Mio for having Basara as her master?!! Bitch! I will kill you!!" Then using all the remaining power left within his severely damaged body, Zolgear managed to form one massive ball of black flames and shot it straight at Zest. Zest only closed her eyes as fear appeared encompassed her hear for a brief moment, she didn't want to die like this. But at the same time she knew that she wouldn't be able to defend herself against such a strong attack so without putting up a futile resistance, she just accepted her fate. But the attack never came and when she opened her eyes she could see Basara standing in front of her, holding the massive ball of black fire above his index finger.

Then Basara returned the fireball to Zolgear at twice the speed as it crashed against Zolgear's body. Zolgear's entire body was engulfed in the black flames as he began writhing in pain. Basara extinguished the flames with a wave of his hand. Zolgear's body had several burn marks as he lay on the floor with smoke and a smell of burnt flesh emerging from his body. Basara then freed Mio from the chains as she jumped into his arms. Basara hugged her a bit to console her and explained the entire situation to her. Basara again focused his attention on Zolgear who seemed intent on acting dead.

Basara went towards Zolgear and this time picked him up in the air by his collar so as to not kill him by grabbing his neck.

"If you don't stop trying to act dead, I'll skewer your entire body with spikes." Zolgear's eyes immediately snapped open. Basara threw Zolgear towards the ground again. When Zolgear fell on the ground, he had a wide grin on his face as he pressed tile on the floor below him. Immediately the entire castle started shaking.

"Haha....you are...done..for.. now!" Afterwards Zolgear pressed another tile and a teleportation circle appeared below him that teleported him away from the castle. Basara immediately understood the situation as the walls of castle started changing into something like the inside of a creature's body.

"What is happening?!" Mio exclaimed.

"This castle is a giant living monster. It's a large ancient beast that His Excellency, Zolgear, had once found. He covered it with a magic barrier and turned it into a castle to prevent it's existence from being found out. But now the creature has awakened once again and it will now begin expanding as it devours both the Demon and Human Realms. And there's also no way to escape from here. There was only one out but His Excelleny, Zolgear, has already used it." Zest explained everything.

"But I can take you to the core of this creature where it's heart resides. If it's heart I had destroyed, then it can be killed." She again said.

"Why would you do that? Aren't you loyal to Zolgear?" Maria asked.

"His Excellency, Zolgear, has now abandoned me, so I'm no longer his servant any longer. I don't have any loyalty towards him any more. That's why, I will help all of you out. I don't mind even if you were to kill me after this." Zest showed a guilty and apologetic expression on her face.

"Lead the way." Sheila said with a smile on her face. Zest nodded and began walking. After passing through several floors and places and dealing with several monsters on the way, all of them manged to arrive at the core room. Before the entrance to the room, there were several statues of what looked like Zest herself. Mio went to inspect one of these and the statue behan strangling her by the neck. Zest saved Mio by destroying the statue and all the statues became active and began approaching them.

"What are these?! They all look like Zest." Maria asked.

"There's no time, we need to destroy all of these at once."

Then just as everyone was about to attack the monsters, Basara snapped his fingers and destroyed all the Zest like monsters at once. Zest was surprised at this as she looked at him with wide eyes. But not for long as Zest then led all of them into the core room where a large rainbow colored sphere was located.

"This is the creature's core. To defeate the creature, it has to be destroyed." Everyone followed Zest's words and tried to attack the core as Sheila and Basra stood at side lines. But immediately several large nerves expanded outward from the core and began attacking them and it also began spewing deadly acids. When a nerve tried to tried Basara, Basara let it strike him. The nerve tore apart in two when it collided with his body. Due to his training, Basara's body became extremely strong and durable that the shockwave and power behind any strike landed on him would be redirected back to the attacker without giving him even a scratch. Then he came to the side of the girls who were a bit injured and healed them. He didn't interfere with the fight since he wanted to see how much Mio and Maria had grown. The girls managed to put a good fight but they were ultimately defeated. Basara was very satiafied with their growth. Zest then began walking towards the core as she said "I will bombard it with several close range attacks, so it will focus all of it's attention on me. In that moment, destroy the core."

"What are you saying?! It will kill you!" Maria said.

"I am a magical organism created by His Excellency, Zolgear, including all of these. His Excellency was always dissatisfied by the flaws in my heart. So, basically I was created as nothing but a prototype for his later creations. So, you needn't concern yourself with my life." Zest said with sadness in her voice. Her sadness was completely reasonable, she was created by Zolgear as an image of his carnal d.e.s.i.r.es, but she ended up being labelled as a failure and abandoned.

"Aren't you afraid to die? Weren't you jealous of the relationship we share with Basara?! That means you have a heart inside you. That's why, we can't just abandon you to die here!" Mio exclaimed.

"Please try to understand, Basara at least you should understand."

"Alright." Basara said. Everyone else except Zest was very surprised at this. What is Basara thinking?! He would never do such a thing! But since Basraa had agreed no one refuted his word.

Zest showed a slight smile on her face as she said "It's better this way." Then without waiting any further, she began bombarding it with attacks and just as all the nerves were going to attack her at the same time, she shouted "Do it now!"

Basara immediately went forward with his incredible speed. He appeared in front of Zest in a flash and with just his glare, he destroyed the nerves. He again disappeared in a flash and appeared in front of the core as he punched it. The rainbow colored core shattered into pieces and with it the entire castle began breaking down. Basara immediately teleported away with everyone to his house. Then after leaving them there, he returned in the next moment. He then appeared inside a cottage where Zolgear was laying on the floor, tied with magical chains while Lars stood in front of Zolgear as he said "I've been waiting for you to arrive, Basara. Now, let's begin Zolgear's punishment."
