The python had red colored scales covering it's entire body while it had green colored ey s with slit like pupils. It had two huge fangs in it's mouth that contained large amounts of toxic venom. Though pythons generally don't have venom, this one does. It's said that a single doze of venom from a blood python is enough to kill over a million humans.

The moment the python was released from the cage, it focused it's eyes on Chika as it hissed loudly and began making it's way towards her at an incredible speed. Chika immediately took out the staff Basara gave her and assumed a battle stance. The moment the python was about to attack her, she jumped sideways to avoid it's blow. Afterwards she began chanting a few wards and pointed her staff to fire a magic spell towards the python as she said "Water Blade!" Immediately afterwards a blue colored magic circle formed at the tip of the staff. It gathered the water elemental energi e from the atmosphere and compressed it to form an arc that was launched at the python.

The python used it's high agility to dodge the water blade by flexibly twisting around it's body. Then it opened it's mouth to reveal it's two venomous fangs and fired a stream of green colored venom from both fangs that were heading towards Chika. Chika immediately jumped upwards to dodge the stems of venom that as launched at her. When the venom met the ground below, the ground began melting as a wide hole was left. With it wasting any further time, Chika again began chanting a few words before pointing her staff towards the python and yelling "Fireball!" Immediately a four red colored magic circles forme day the tip of the staff and from it four fireballs were released.

The python again tried to dodge this attack by twisting it's body, but this time the old tactic didn't work as the moment the python was about to dodge the four fireballs, all of them exploded at once. The explosion cause da lot of dust and smoke to rise and cover the python. When the smoke died down, the python could be seen with a few burn works on it's body, otherwise it was left unharmed.

This time the python released a loud hiss and swung it's large tail that threatened to smash against Chika's body. But Chika didn't waver in the slightest and simply pointed her staff towards the tail of the python. Immediately a barrier formed around her body that blocked the Python's tail and not just that the barier also repelled the Python's tail. This barrier was the [Protect: A] skill of the [Wizard Staff] that created a shock repellent barrier around Chika's body. Instead of absorbing the shock of any force that hit against the barrier, it repelled the attack itself by redirecting the force of the attack back to it's origin.

Before the battles had begun, Basara had explained all the skills and abilities of the weapons to Chika and Shiho so that they can freely exploit the abilities of their weapons. Chika again started chanting and yelled "Incinerate!" A large magic circle formed on the tip of the staff s it released a huge stream of flames at the Python. Their time the python didn't have anytime to dodge the attack as the attack was related form point blank range.

The moment the flames came in contact with the Python's body, it's entire body was sent ablaze as it released a loud screech whirl desperately trying to move it's body around to extinguish he powerful flames. But no matter how much it lived round the flame refused to extinguish until finally a few minutes later they were extinguished. But this one the python didn't have any small injuries as it's beautiful red scales were charter back and their were some spots where it scales had even started to rot.

Before the python could issue any other attack, Chika released another water spell "Hydro Blast!" Immediately a large magic circle formed at the tip of the staff that released a large blast of water at the python. These waters were highly concentrated wand due to their great mass and speed, they carried a massive attack power that was like being hit by a huge twenty meter wide boulder. When the blast smashed against yeh Python's body, it completely failed to offer any sort of resistance as it's body burst into pieces that flew around the arena.

The audience had a momentary silence before all of them began to cheer loudly and Fuji announced "The winner of this fight is Chika Sakaki!" The entire audience into a round of applause as Basara couldn't help but feel proud at Chika. Then the three Elders stood up and Kumano said "Chika Sakaki, you have managed defeated D Rank monster with perfect use of magic spells and an unwavering determination. Hence, we, Elders, announce you as an official Hero of the D Rank from today onwards. This shall be your battle outfit."

Fuji then opened his palm revenge a badge that had the words "D-Rank" written on it. The badge flew from his hand and attached itself on the left side of Chika's c.h.e.s.t. Immediately a green light encompassed her body and when the flask of light died down, he body could be seen covered in a green aura as she wore a battle outfit that consists of a ash colored leotard with a black collar and white skirt; and Kurumi also wears short tights underneath her skirt. The green aura around when body intemixed with the [Wizard Staff] in her hands. As a result, her staff also change din appearance as it also emitted a green aura and it had a few aces covered by silvery white armor and a new green gem also appeared at it's tip. At the same time, Chika's four limbs also became covered with spirit armor as well. "Now, let the next battle begin!" Fuji announced and immediately the cage doors to another cell opened revealing a large ten feet tall monster. It a huge muscular and bulky build with large teeth and do fangs protruding from it's mouth. It also had red colored eyes with a large wooden club in it's hand and it's body was covered with a leather cloth. This montrr was an Ogre Chief. The moment it is it's eyes on Shiho, it issued a roar and began running towards Shiho.

Shiho remained calm and collected with the[Angel Bow] in her hands as she pulled the bow string and immediately an arrow formed on the bow string. When Shiho let go of the string, the arrow was launched at the Ogre Chief. The Ogre Chief swing it's large club that smashed against the arrow and broke it in half as the Ogre Chief continued running towards Shiho. Shiho again pulled the bow string and this time she fired another arrow at Ogre Chief. But unlike the previous arrow this arrow which was only infused with Mana, this one was also infused with flame wind elemental energy.

When the Ogre Chief again swing his club to break the arrow, he couldn't hit the arrow due to the presence of wind elemental energy the arrow's speed was accelerated. But when the arrow hit it's body, it remained unperturbed and swung it's club to hit Shiho. Shiho rolled sideways to dodge the strike that was headed towards her and she again fired an arrow. Since it was fired from close range the Ogre Chief couldn't protect against it and it hit one of the Ogre Chief's eyes.

The Ogre Chief roared in pain as as it removed the arrow from it's eye which had been destroyed due the arrow na snow it as blind in one eye. The Ogre Chief became mad as it roared in anger and swung it's club at Shiho again. Shiho held up her bow and when the club hit against the bow, the attack was blocked. Due to the [Unbreakable: S] skill of the bow, it can't be broken by normal means and it also had a shock repellent characteristic similar to the barrier of [Protect: A]. The club shattered into pieces and Shiho jumped upwards and again pulled her bow string and this time she chanted a few words when an arrow formed on the string. When she released the arrow, it became covered by compressed wind as the arrow was covered by a small tornado of sorts.

Thus time the arrow hit the Ogre Chief square on the head and it simply went through the Ogre Chief's head like a knife going through butter. Blood spilled from the Ogre Chief's head as it fell on the ground. It had been killed by the headshot, which was due to the [Accuracy: C] and [Critical Hit: B] skills. Since Shiho only has an affinity with the wind element, she can only infused wind elemental energy or even a wind magic spell into her arrows other than pure Mana.

This time she used a simple wind magic spell known as "Compressed Wind", which compressed wind around the arrow and it looks like a small tornado. This compressed air is extremely sharp and can cut through most defences below the C Rank quite easily. When Shiho won, similar to how Chika won ten entire crowd again exploded j to a cheer and round of applause as similar to Chika, Shiho was also given D Rank and she was also given the exact same Hero Battle Outfit as Chika.
