Reincarnated With A Minecraft Realm
Chapter 17 - 017 - Hitting a Roadblock
A day after I did the Aurora Ritual I immediately noticed a problem...
My Minecraft world was now out of sync with the real world...
The day here was night there and vice versa, meaning to fix this I had to do yet another Aurora Ritual to fix it back to normal...
Well, I don't think I will ever do an Aurora Ritual ever again since it screws up Minecraft's Time.
I walked away from the ritual and watched as all the monsters that weren't in shade burn to death and drop me some items which I promptly collected.
It's uncommon for them to spawn with any kind of gear but when they do it's either gold or iron which is sort of useless to me right now, oh that actually gives me an idea that will actually really help me.
I need to build the Smelter from Tinker's Construct, through this smelter I will be able to melt down all the spare iron and gold weapons down into ingots!
As well as create customizable weapons for myself that have special attributes.
But before that, I need to do a few things first.
First I crafted an Inscription table from 2 oak planks, 4 oak slabs, a book, and a piece of carpet.
With the two new magical items, I went over to my room of magic and placed them down.
I placed the Inscription Table in the corner.
The inscription table looked like a table with an extra shelf above it with a candle with a blue flame and some book props on the top shelf.
There was also a strange purpal symbol on the front side of the desk with another small shelf underneath and between the legs of the shelf.
Sitting on the table was a quil, ink, and papers.
Ignoring the Inscription Table for now I placed the Manaweaving altar nearby in a different spot.
The Manaweaving altar resembled a bird bath with two horns stinking forward from the side.
Now, I need to get some ingredients including Vellum Papper, Arcane Ash, and Arcanist's Ink.
Vellum Paper is quite easy to get so that's what I aimed for first.
Now, I needed to to get Arcane Ash...but that's where my problems begin.
I needed to get some flowers specifically, Aum, Cerublossom, Tarma Root, Wakebloom, and Desert Nova.
The problem is that some of these flowers can only be found in specific biomes, like the Desert Nova can only be found in deserts and the Tarma Root can only be found in swamps...
And since this world is dangerous I will either have to better equip myself or gain a flying mount of some kind...
Sigh, I have to do so much work in order to cast even the most basic of magic...
I soon left my room and got to work on another project, building a smeltery.
I had almost a full double c.h.e.s.t filled with random damaged iron and golden weaponry.
Some even had enchantments but those with enchantmetns were badly damaged.
So, I wanted to build both a Smeltry and a Grindstone to remove the enchantments on the weapons for EXP and scrap the enchantless tools for ingots.
First I created some Grout from sand, gravel and clay then I put the grout into my furnace.
Once it was done I had Seared Bricks which I used to make Seared Brick Blocks, then I made a Smeltery Controller, and finally I made a Seared Tank which would hold Lava.
I then went on to make the Smeleter's foundation which was a 3x3 square.
I then placed down the Tank, Controller, and then started building up the smelter walls.
I raised the walls of the smelter up 5 blocks and with that done I walked back over ot my crafting table and crafted a Seared Drain and Seared Faucet.
[A/N: For you nerds for each block in the smelter I can store 8 ingots, so if you do the math the smelter can hold up to a maximum of 360 ingots(this is just the start, wait until we begin Minecraft Kingdom building lol), also for every ore put in the smeltery you get two ingots worth so its also now where the MC will smelt his ores]
With the Smeltery up I finally could smelt down the extra tools that the monsters dropped.
So, I got to work. I dechanted the tools for exp before throwing them into the smelter to be smelted down into blocks, and after a few hours of hard work I had 9 Blocks and 7 Ingots of Gold. For iron I got 13 Blocks and 2 Ingots of Iron!
