With their gazes focused on it, Oliver's voice resounded, "This is your chance to try again, try not to miss this time".

..He was referring to Aiden with that utterance.

That determined expression appeared on Aiden's face again as he drew out another arrow from his quiver and placed it in his bow. He had targeted by now, and he didn't waste time firing.

The arrow moved with speed heading toward where the grass cutter was. And he was gonna be successful this time. The grass cutter noticed, but before it could take to its heels, the arrow pierced its body.

As usual, it still ran but eventually stopped, it didn't go far. The poison that infiltrated its body weakened it faster plus the arrow that pierced its body.

As said, it ran a little before stopping, it was dead. And at that moment, the three of them ran toward it. The moment they reached where it was lying, Aiden's voice resounded,

"I did it, the f**king grass cutter was pierced".

"Yes, you did it this time man". Oliver uttered with his gaze focused on Aiden.

Ava didn't say anything, she was just glancing at the grass cutter. Well, Aiden picked up the grass cutter from the ground and drew out the arrow that was pierced into its body as little blood gushed out.

He was observing the grass cutter currently while turning it a little, he was holding its tail. And at that moment, Aiden's voice resounded,

"This one got a lot of meat".

"Yeah, that's the case for most of them". Oliver's voice resounded again.

By now, Oliver had already taken off his bag, opened it, and taken out the sack bag from it. Then Aiden dropped the grass cutter into the sack bag, then Oliver handed it over to Ava while saying,

"You can hold this for us since your hands are free currently".

"Sure". Ava stated collecting the sack bag from Oliver.

..Yes, the same cliche.

Whenever they go hunting, Ava was always the first person to begin holding the sack bag where they do put the grass cutters. Why was she always the first person to begin holding the sack bag?

That's 'cause she's always the one that wouldn't be holding any hunting tools at first...so she'd have to start with the sack bag first. And none of them were like an offense to her, she wasn't offended by them at all.

Well, a grass cutter had already been caught, the fun had already started...

And Oliver didn't waste time voicing it out, "A grass cutter has already been caught, our first one for this hunting, let the fun continue".

After making that utterance, he glanced at Aiden and voiced out once again, "I'd be the one to catch the next grass cutter we'd set eyes on".
"Sure". Aiden voiced out nodding his head a little.

They began strolling forward once again while glancing around. They were going deep into the forest...this wouldn't be the first time they'd be going deep into a forest.

After some minutes of walking forward, Ava's voice resounded, something they weren't expecting to hear...

"Gosh! A snake".

Aiden and Oliver immediately glanced at her with a kind of bewildered expression on their faces, they weren't scared yet. Why? 'Cause a snake is something they'd be able to kill easily.

"Where is it?". Oliver inquired of her with that bewildered expression still plastered to his face.

..And at that moment, she began laughing, and Aiden and Oliver seemed to have discerned something at that moment.

Seems like she was lying...and she was truly lying.

"I'm just kidding, just wanted to see what you guys' reaction would be like to the utterance". Ava voiced out still laughing a little.

And Aiden was just like, "Gosh! Ava, I don't think now is the time to be making jokes around. We are on a serious business though it's still fun. Now isn't the time to be kidding around".

"Ummm...okay". That was all Ava said.

"All he said is true". Oliver said glancing at Ava, he was backing up Aiden.

"Let the hunting continue". Aiden said.

They began walking forward once again while glancing around. Now, remember, they said something like meeting someone in the forest and getting into trouble because this forest was close to the Mudville River.

It had been based on probability from the very beginning...and the thing is, it wouldn't happen at all. Yes, they wouldn't come across anyone, but other things might happen.

They were still walking forward while glancing around, then Oliver sighted a grass cutter. Yes, he was the one that was gonna hunt down the grass cutter they'd see next, and he was the one that saw it.

He immediately voiced out, "I've seen another grass cutter".

Ava and Aiden glanced at him, then Ava's voice resounded, "Where is it?".

Oliver directed their attention to where it was standing, and the both of them were glancing at it currently. Then Aiden said to Oliver,

"It's your turn now, do a good job".

Oliver drew out an arrow from his quiver while glancing at the grass cutter, then he placed it in his bow, targeted, and now, it was about time to fire.

..Would he miss just like how Aiden missed the first time? Or would he be able to hunt down the grass cutter? Well, let's wait and see.

As said, he had targeted, and he didn't waste time firing. The arrow headed toward the grass cutter with speed. Now, before the grass cutter could do anything, the arrow pierced its body.

As it was noticing the arrow, it was piercing its body, there was no time to run. And the moment the arrow pierced the grass cutter's body, Aiden was like...

'This guy is good'.

"Yes, I f**king caught it". Oliver uttered after his arrow had penetrated the grass cutter's body.

"You did a good job just as I said". Aiden said to Oliver.

And all Oliver did was nod his head. After that, the three of them ran toward where the grass cutter was lying. And Oliver didn't waste time picking it up and drawing the arrow out of its body.

"Another one has been caught". Oliver said glancing at the grass cutter.

Well, Ava forwarded the sack bag as Oliver dropped the grass cutter into it. Then Ava was like...

"So, what next?".

And Aiden was like, "The hunting continues".

"Ummm...I mean, what next, hunting tools need to be handed over to me now. You guys have succeeded in catching a grass cutter each. I need to succeed in catching one too, hunting tools need to be handed to me".

Aiden and Oliver glanced at each other, and Oliver was like, "Oh! Yes, that's true. Aiden, hand your hunting tools over to her".

"Why don't you hand yours over to her? Like, let things be different this time, be the one to hand hunting equipment to her whenever we've at least caught a grass cutter each. It doesn't have to be the cliche all the time?". Aiden stated.

Oliver nodded his head a little and uttered, "Yes, I'd do that, but hand yours over to her today. The next time we'd go hunting, I'd be the one to hand over my hunting tools to her when we've caught a grass cutter each. But let the same thing take place today".

"Okay, I'd hand my hunting tools over to her. But remember, the next time we'd go hunting, you'd be the one to hand your equipment over to her". Aiden said.

"Sure, I'd keep to my word". Uttered Oliver.

"Have you guys decided? Finally". Ava stated.

..Yes, she's been standing there since listening to their conversation and waiting for them to decide which they've done.

Aiden handed his hunting tools over to her, both the bow and quiver of arrows, everything. And then Ava handed the sack bag over to him...so it was Aiden holding the sack bag now.

After Ava had set up everything, she voiced out, "So it's me that's gonna go next, right? I'd be the one to hunt down the next grass cutter we'd set eyes on".

"Sure". Oliver said.

And with that, they began walking forward once again...let the fun continue.

It was already mid-afternoon heading to evening. And as said, they have to leave here before it gets to complete evening, when evening would be heading to dusk. When the sky would be close to darkening completely.

They were still walking forward going deeper into the forest, and now, sighting another grass cutter wasn't easy...it was just like they went scarce all of a sudden.

They kept glancing around, but they weren't sighting one. And Ava's voice had to resound at that moment,

"Why now? When it's my turn to hunt down a grass cutter? Sighting another one just seems impossible now. I want to hunt down one".

"And you would, this isn't the first time something like this is happening, we'd definitely set eyes on another grass cutter. We just have to keep walking forward and searching". Aiden said.

..And so they did, they kept walking forward and glancing around.
