“Zhenzhen, you’re finally back. Where did you go?” Qin Si had been paying attention to the door all this while. When she saw her return, she hurriedly went up to her. “Did you go to look for Yu Zhuang again? You… Haa…” She sighed.

Mr. Qin, who had been suppressing his anger, exploded when he heard Yu Zhuang’s name.

“Did you go to see that boy again? Haven’t you caused enough trouble for your fiancé? Is your brain kicked by a donkey? Did it!?” Mr. Qin was so angry that his body was trembling.

Because of Mother Qin’s early death, he had to raise Qin Zhen by himself. But now, he regretted it. He shouldn’t have doted on the girl more back then. It was better than having a stupid daughter now. Every day, he was met with disappointment after disappointment…

Qin Zhen resisted the urge to cry and took a deep breath. Her cold gaze landed on Qin Si. “I just came back and you immediately assume I went to see Yu Zhuang? Why? Are you following me?”

Qin Si did not expect Qin Zhen to question her, but still replied, “Zhenzhen, didn’t you say that you like Yu Zhuang and want to meet him in secret? You said you wanted–”

With a “pa” sound, the crisp sound of a slap rang out through the entire room. Qin Si’s words were completely stuck in her throat. She looked at Qin Zhen in disbelief until she felt a burning pain on her cheek. Only then did she dare to believe that Qin Zhen actually had the guts to hit her!

“Qin Si, why are you so shameless?” Qin Zhen rubbed her numb palm, but her heart was filled with joy.

Mr. Qin and Qin Youting were also stunned. After a while, they came back to their senses. Mr. Qin was even more shocked than angry, “Qin Zhen, what are you doing? That’s your cousin! Don’t you have any manners? Is this how I taught you? You disappoint me!”

“Dad, you… Let’s hear what Zhenzhen has to say first,” Qin Youting defended Qin Zhen despite being puzzled by the turn of events. Didn’t his sister always listen to Qin Si?

“Dad, do you know why I pushed He Guinian downstairs?”

Qin Si’s heart skipped a beat when she heard Qin Zhen suddenly mention He Guinian.

Qin Zhen glared at Qin Si, her eyes filled with hatred. “It was my dear cousin who told me personally that as long as He Guinian was injured, the He family would never tolerate me to be their daughter-in-law. The engagement naturally had to be called off.So she gave me an idea to pretend to commit suicide and push He Guinian downstairs.”

“Uncle, I didn’t say that. How could I ask Zhenzhen to do these things…” Half of Qin Si’s face was swollen, and her eyes were slightly red as if it had pained her so to be accused of these false claims.

Compared to his daughter, who had always been unruly, Mr. Qin trusted his gentle and demure niece more.

“Dad, when Qin Si gave me the idea, she told me through texts. You can look through her phone.” Qin Zhen’s phone was smashed into pieces when she jumped off the building, so the only proof was on her cousin’s phone.

“Qin Si, take out your phone.” Mr. Qin said in a low voice.

Qin Si slowly took out her phone, but she was secretly ecstatic. Every time she talked to Qin Zhen about something, she would always delete the chat records that were unfavorable to her. Qin Zhen was really stupid in her eyes. That’s right. If Qin Zhen wasn’t stupid, would she easily be led by the nose by her? Why was such an idiot so lucky? Everything in the Qin family was hers!

Qin Si opened their chat and scrolled to the end.

Nothing was out of the ordinary at first, as it was just normal talk between sisters. However, after that, almost all the conversations they had was about Yu Zhuang. Mr. Qin hated Yu Zhuang to the bone. He was a villain. His daughter’s eyes were covered in sh*t that she could not see it! He was so angry that his head was dizzy. He looked at Qin Zhen with disappointment, “You pushed He Guinian down the stairs, and now you’re slandering others and shirking your responsibility? How could I, Qin Jin, raise a daughter like you? I’m such a failure!”

Qin Si was silently proud of what she had done, but her voice was slightly choked when she said, “Uncle, Zhenzhen and I might have some kind of misunderstanding. It’s okay. I don’t blame her…”

Qin Zhen didn’t say anything. She just turned around and ran to her room. In other people’s eyes, it looked as if her lies were exposed and since she had no way to defend herself, she ran away.

Mr. Qin was even more disappointed. His eyes, of a man over fifty, were red with anger. He had always doted on his daughter, but in the end, he raised such a bastard. He felt guilty toward his wife, who had died early.

Qin Youting watched his sister’s back as she left. He felt that things were not as simple as they seemed to be.

It did not take long for Qin Zhen to come down in a hurry with a laptop in her hands.

“Dad, I’ll prove to you that I’m not lying,” Qin Zhen took Qin Si’s phone expressionlessly and connected it to the computer with a data cable.

A trace of contempt and disgust flashed across Qin Si’s eyes. What could a fool do? Qin Zhen’s everything was probably exchanged for her brain. Otherwise, how could she be so brainless?
