Lesson 436: The Drifting Giant

Gaius looked back in surprise and haste, where a giant of the finest demons once fought to death in the underground waterways of Tabe, the ancient capital of the Kingdom of Dallas.

"Glasha-Laboras!!"

Gaius shouted, instantly letting his own body wrap the aura around him.

"... if you think you've escaped, you're gushing out here... you're here, Signus! Come out! What are you doing to me now?"

Then the space beneath Glasha-Laboras, like a giant dog with wings, suddenly swayed loosely.

And from there, a familiar wrinkle appeared to Gaius.

"... I remember one thing. I've been waiting for you."

"... Signus... what did you remember? Say it."

"I don't know...... whenever Menontius used to say it. Your memory must be locked..."

"... what's wrong with that? I know that best."

"What else? It's your own business. But actually, the key... maybe I have a clue...

"What!?... is that true?

"Perhaps... from time to time. Definitely not."

Gaius began walking slowly toward Signus while exercising vigilance against Glasha-Laboras.

"... say it. Say what you think."

Then Signus suddenly laughed out loud.

Gaius was surprised and stopped the walk.

"What's wrong? Signus."

"No, I'm sorry. It's funny that you're in such a hurry when it comes to the key to memory... No, I'm sorry."

"Shit! Are you kidding me..."

"It's not. But still, memory is the most important requirement for you... isn't it?

"Naturally. If they take away their normal memories, everyone is determined to desperately try to take it back"

"Sort of. But in your case, I feel a little more desperate than normal?

"You have no idea what you're trying to say, Signus! What the hell are you doing here?"

Then Signus laughed, bending his mouth over the distortion.

"... why don't you fight Glasha-Laboras for now?

"... Huh? You have no idea what that means, do you? What? What's your purpose..."

Faster than Gaius could finish, the giant of Glasha-Laborus moved.

"Hey! All of a sudden!

Glasha-Laboras sputtered out a fiercely burning flame from inside, wondering if he had opened that big mouth.

Gaius instantly exploded the aura in the right direction to fly, dodging its flames.

"Damn! What the hell!

Gaius stupidly dyed his hands blue and instantly rolled out the mighty icy falls (Blazefall).
