Mercury saw what was going on inside the mansion's walls and showed a relaxed smile before he walked over and stood next to Julia as he asked

"How is going?"

"Fine, we almost got it handled"

Mercury nodded and looked over at the dragon spirit that was currently being beat on by Ben, Jey, Asma, and Marie, the dragon spirit spotted Mercury and yelled in frustration

[Curse you, Mercury, if only I was whole I would take over my vessel and kill you in the most painful way imaginable! AHAHAHAHAHAHAH---]

"Shut it scaly!"

Ben hit the dragon spirit on the side with a slash of his sword and sent it flying backward, Mercury sighed, the dragon spirit who looked oh so intimidating when he saw it first was reduced to this state now, he almost felt sorry for it, almost… Mercury wore his aluminum gauntlets before he kicked off the ground and yelled

"Tag me in!"

Then he disappeared from view as he closed in before he repapered behind the dragon spirit and hit it in the back sending it flying forwards before he reappeared in front of it and sent an uppercut to its chin sending it flying upwards before he reappeared above it and sent flying down towards the ground where it impacted kicking up dust, then Merucyr appeared in front of the crater and asked it

"Are you done playing around by now..? I have an offer for you"

[A offer!? WHAT COULD YOU POSSIBLE OFFER ME THAT I WOULD WANT!?]

"A body, a real living body"

The dragon spirit fell silent before it began laughing

[AHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! Fine, but if the body you make is inferior to that vessel then---]

"It won't be"

The dragon spirit narrowed its eyes slightly before it slowly lifted off the ground and asked

[How long do you need?]

Mercury fell silent for a bit before he spoke

"3 years at most, 1 year at the fastest… Of course, that's not including the time it takes to travel back to Juliantia"

[...Sure, you have yourself a deal, Mercury…. HAHAHAHA, though you won't have to worry about the travel time, I'll send you back in the evening~]

"Fine, I'll gather my people then"

Mercury turned and walked back to the others, the girls wore frowns on their faces, clearly, they didn't like the deal that Mercury had made with the dragon spirit, they stood there and applied silent pressure for him to explain himself, Mercury sighed before he spoke

"You can't kill a spirit even if you tried to, it would only be a matter of time before the dragon spirit managed to kill one of us, thus I decided to make peace before something terrible happened"

Julia sighed, so did Marie and Asma, then Mercury glanced back at the dragon spirit that was working on making an instant gate formation, then he sighed again and muttered

"I am going to need a Hygieia cradle… Man, that's going to be a bitch to make… Then the biomatter..."

The girls looked at Mercury that was lost in thoughts and decided not to interrupt him for the time being, after a brief talk Julia went off the find Max and Annabel that should be resting in the inn they stayed in when she neared she heard some easily recognizable noise coming from Annabel's room and showed a cat-like smile before she knocked on the door and yelled

"Max, Annabel, not the right time to be fooling around!"

After a brief period of panic coming from inside the room, Julia opened the door while announcing herself

"I am coming in~!"

"W-W-W-WAIT!"

"I'm not dressed yet!"

Julia walked into the room and gazed around, Max was sitting on the bed while fighting with his belt, he didn't wear a shirt yet so his upper body was nude, meanwhile, Annabel hurriedly covered herself with a blanket, Julia showed a knowing smile…

Mercury woke up from his deep thoughts soon enough, he had a clear idea of what he needed in order to make a body for the dragon spirit

'Oh right,  I need to go and talk with Party…'

Mercury turned around and walked past the walls of the mansion, soon he arrived outside the walls and found Party waiting on him, he quickly filled her in, Party sighed before she began speaking

[That's probably for the best… I do hope that the dragon spirit will become a little more docile once it gets a body…, so you'll be heading back now?]

'"Yeah, that I will… I'll come and visit you in a few days if nothing happens"

The avatar showed a sweet smile

Mercury nodded then he walked back towards the temple along with Party and kissed her goodbye before the avatar floated back into the temple, then he walked back towards the lord's mansion alone where he found the group had been gathered, only something had changed since he was there last, there was a new corpse on the ground, Mercury sighed before he asked the dragon spirit

"Did you have to do that?"

[AHAHAHAHA, she attacked me first, I only retaliated a little? It's not my fault she was so fragile?]

Mercury sighed and looked down at the corpse of the young royal guard Jenny, then he sighed again and walked over to the rest of the group, then he turned to the dragon spirit and spoke

"Don't make me regret having made this deal with you now"

[Fine, fine… Are you ready?]

Mercury confined with the others before he turned to the dragon spirit and nodded, then the formation under them lit up at once before they all disappeared from view along with a flash of light…

A few days passed from that, the group safely arrived back in Juliantia, of course, they had a new 'companion' along with them, the dragon spirit had turned into a tiny dragon from and could be found circling around Mercury most of the time as they worked out the details of its body, firstly Mercury learned that it was in fact female, secondly, he learned its name which was Qutil and thirdly he learned why it had given up its mortal flesh in the first place

[My life was coming to an end anyway, but I still had regrets so I converted my soul to what it is now, then I made a deal with the former administrator then it died and was replaced voiding a part of the divine contract which fed me information of Alfan… Then I went insane from boredom AHAHAHAHAHAAH!!!]

"Would you quiet it down? It's 3 AM"

Mercury sighed, luckily there was no one around to wake up as the two of them currently found themselves under the island of Juliantia, Mercury was hunting metal ore around 5 kilometers down and had gathered quite a lot of essence by now

"This should be enough for now… Let's head back, I have classes in the morning to think of too"

[AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA I HATE SCHOOL!!!]

Mercury sighed, the dragon spirit was definitely mental, that's for sure, though he didn't really hate its company, it was like having a hyperactive retarded dog around

"---And thereby you use chantless magic, questions?"

A sea of hands went up, Mercury looked around before he picked out a random person and pointed to them

"Yes you"

"What's that smoke dragon circling around you?"

"...I meant questions about the class"

"So you won't answer?"

"I have just invented a right to keep silent"

"Tch…"

Mercury sighed, he had been bombarded about questions of the dragon spirit which he had gotten to promise to keep quiet while he taught the class, still, the students kept asking about it, Mercury sighed once more before he pointed to another student that thankfully asked him a question about the class, time passed like this until the school day was over and Mercury made his way back to the castle on foot while the dragon spirit spoke with him and everyone that would listen around them

[AHAHAHAHAHAHA, Look Merucry a person!]

"There are literally hundreds of people around, what's so special about her?"

[She's lazed with concealed killing intent towards you!]

Mercury sighed and kept walking, this was the 2nd person that had been 'lazed with concealed killing intent' towards him, he had talked with the first person and it turned out to just be a joke by the dragon spirit

[Hey don't pout, that was a good joke, no? AHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!]

"Why do you always have to make jokes about me dying or being in mortal danger?"

[Come on Mercury loosen up a bit, it's only fun AHAHAHAHAH]

Mercury sighed once more, soon he arrived at the castle and walked downstairs to the underground laboratory that was being built out, this was were he would make the new body for the dragon spirit, he wasn't entirely confident, but felt that it was doable over the time period he had available
