Reincarnation of the Cheater

As I read his status and get excited over the skill I'm about to steal I decide to stay in stealth and see exactly how the Goblin King uses the Mind Reading skill. As I'm moving away from the group and into a position to help them at a moments notice the Goblin King stops acting like it's asleep and instead speaks in a deep voice, "You humans are no fun. Not a single one of you wanted to approach me."

As the deep ominous voice fills the room an uneasy feeling washes over me and my clone in an instant. The feeling like I'm being watched as if my stealth wasn't even activated.

I decided to deactivate stealth since he can see through it anyways and a couple more clones appear around me as we all rush towards the surprised Goblin King. The sound of feet hitting the rock hard floor echo throughout the floor as Finn moves into position and succeeds in tanking the swing holding the Goblin King in place as all my clones move from behind him. As all the clones hit the Golbin King one by one a notification form the system comes to me that has stayed behind casting magic.

'So the clones hitting does count towards combo star, that really takes a load off of my shoulders.'

As each of the notifications represent a clone hitting the Goblin King each clone that lands a hit does even more damage after every hit. The first clone hit the Goblin King in the thigh with the copied LostVayne and barely did anything at all but as the second clone hit right after the damage done changed exponentially. The second clone hit him and this time it pierced the Goblin King's thick skin even if no blood was drawn it left a mark. The third clone hit with precision and slashed at the exact same spot and there was finally some blood spilled out as the Goblin King smiles like a madman.

"Really interesting, every hit grows stronger than the last." The Goblin King says as he smiles and shows off his jagged teeth.

The fourth and fifth clone hit respectively and dealt nearly the same amount of damage all around the Goblin King's body. The magic that my main body is preparing drains my mana until I'm almost out leaving me fatigued and it hasn't even finished yet. As the sixth clone hits the Goblin King in the arm the Goblin King destroys the clone in one hit while the only thing the clone left behind was a deep cut on the Goblin King's arm that is about a third through the entire arm.

As all of this is going on Shin makes it around the busy Goblin King and slashes at the back of its ankles near the heel cutting the ligament in half causing the Goblin King to fall on its knees in pain.

As the seventh and final clone moves in on the Goblin King it finishes what the sixth clone couldn't and chops off the Arm of the Goblin King leaving it to fall far away with blood splattering all over the floor.

"You humans really are interesting with your plans and using the knowledge you have of the anatomy of the body against your opponents. This would have worked if it wasn't me." The Goblin King says smirking while invoking magic.

"Rock Wall"

As the Goblin King's magic activates the ground around him rises up above his height and envelopes him blocking us from finishing him off. The rocks themselves are too hard for us to break. I sent a clone to try and the attack bounced off as if it was nothing. As the rock wall settles in place we hear another activation of magic from the Goblin King that is encased in a rock wall.

"Rock Absorption"

As the magic activates the rock wall slowly shrinks and enters the now visible Goblin King's body. All the wounds he received rapidly healed in front of our eyes. Finn and Shin are both stunned from the shock. All the damage from throughout the battle has healed and even his arm was replaced. The shock on my face disappears as I see that the word I choose has finished writing. I have all my clones rush to the Goblin King since he currently doesn't have his guard up and as each clone reaches him they attack only to be stopped by the Goblin King in retaliation, none of the hits counted towards combo star but I still have the combo so it seems that clones don't reset the combo. As all the clones disappear from the damage they have received they all leave behind blood that covers where they were standing as well as cloud of smoke that ends up covering my real body as I approach the Goblin King and activate the word magic as he is focused on Finn and Shin thinking that he already finished me off.
