The pokemons sent by the grunts weee only intermediate stage pokemon. Sam sent Draceon and defeated them all quickly.

He then sent Exeggutor out and asked him to use Hypnosis on the five grunts. The grunts fall asleep and then Sam used psychic to check their memories. He found a lot of information about SRL.

SRL , abbreviation of Secret Realm Legion , is a huge low key organization in pokemon world. It has bases nearly all over the world but most of the bases are only small bases with monitoring devices.

The organization specialises in discovering secret realms and using its resources to strengthen itself. The information about secret realm is known in higher level people of Pokemon Alliance but it is kept secret from general public.

The SRL uses this point and lures people to join them by telling them about the secret realm and saying that the top level of Pokemon Alliance is keeping this a secret so that they can monopolize the benefits of secret realm by themselves.

The ideal of of SRL is also world domination like any other underworld organization but unlike other SRL believe in combined strength of pokemon army rather than the strength of a particular legendary pokemon.

It is said that the Boss of SRL uses to work in Aether Foundation of Alola region that is working on the ultra wormholes. During one experiment, he found a way to forcefully open the secret realm and from that point his ambitions rose. He then left the Aether Foundation and built SRL from scratch. He also believes that those people who think that they can dominate the world relying on a strength of a particular legendary pokemon are top level idiots.

Currently SRL's main working area includes Alola , Kalos and Unova regions. They are planning to spread to other regions so they have sent small units as vanguard. One such unit stationed in Celadon city discovered Sam and sent a team of grunts here and then they encountered Sam.

Sam then brainwashed the grunts into his loyal followers using psychic technique. It was quite taxing to brainwashed five people at once with his current psychic level. He then asked the grunts to take him to the base of SRL.

There were 50 peoples in the base of SRL. Sam disguised himself as a captive caught by the five grunts so that they can take him to the base and meet the head of the base.

"Sir, we caught him existing the secret realm but he is not telling us anything so we bought him as a captive to you." said Grunt E.

"You did a good job. Go and get your rewards." Jacob said. Jacob was dreaming about his promotion but he didn't notice that the grunts were not as respectful towards him as before.

"Release me. You will not escape the Alliance inspector if you didn't release me." Sam tried to act panicked and tried to seem scared.

"Hahaha boy, forget it. Obediently tell us all the information about the secret realm you entered and we will release you otherwise you will see the darkest side of world today." Jacob tried to scare Sam.

As soon as Jacob said this, instead of being scared Sam turned calm and said, "What if I don't?"

Jacob noticed something was wrong but was too late as Gengar drilled out of Sam's shadow and used Hypnosis on him. After this Sam freed himself from bondage and released his team of pokemons and Mwetwo as well to make everyone present at the base a hostage and then began reading Jacob's memory.

SRL has just stepped into Kanto so they don't have a lot of people in Kanto region. There are only 4 bases in four major cities of Kanto, Celadon city , Vermilion city , Cerulean city and Fuchsia city. He was not noticed at Cerulean city and Fuchsia city as he has not opened the Small world near those cities.
