Mewtwo sent a ball condensed with aura and sent it towards Golem. Golem was hit by Aura Sphere and fainted.

"Golem is unable to battle. The winner of this match is Sam." Referee announced.

"Mewtwo is really strong and has defeated all six pokemons of Andrew contestant with just using one move each. And with the defeat of Golem, Sam contestants has won the match and became the Champion. Let's congratulate him" the commentator said.

The audience kept cheering for them. On the other side Andrew was standing there stunned was still unable to except that he was defeated by just one pokemon of other.

In a room where the Elite Four and President Charles Goodshow were present.

"His Mewtwo has reached Elite stage" Lance observed.

"Mewtwo, it should be fighting type rather than psychic type." Bruno said.

"This kid has good potential" Agatha commented.

Only Lorelei kept silently looking at Sam and Mewtwo thinking about how can she defeat if she faced it.

Sam was unaware of all this and was enjoying the cheers of audience. He had won many battles before but he never felt like this before. He went back to the lobby of the stadium and Mewtwo followed him. The audience, specially girls were mesmerized upon seeing his back view and kept cheering for him.

Soon the award ceremony was held and the President of Kanto Alliance Charles Goodshow gave the trophy to Sam on the podium. The audience once again cheered for Sam.

[I really won the championship.] This was the only thought going on in Sam's mind.

[This is only the beginning, I will also win the leagues of other regions as well.]

As soon as Sam held the trophy, the system sounded in his mind.

Sam became even more happy upon hearing what system said. After the ceremony, Sam went back to celebrate with his friends. He called Gary, Ash, Brock, Misty and Vivi and celebration lasted till late night.

After everyone went back, only Sam and Vivi were left alone. Sam asked, "I won the Indigo league, what about my reward?" Vivi couldn't tell Sam that she was worried about his matches and forgot to buy a gift. So she moved towards Sam and gave him a kiss on lips. Sam was first surprised but them responded as well. They seperated after a while and kept silence for a while.

"I will go to another region after few weeks. Will you come with me?" Sam broke the silence and asked Vivi. "Yes" Vivi answered.

The next day Sam began to go back towards Pallet town to share his joy with his parents. Vivi, Ash, Misty and Brock were also going back with him. They all reached Pallet town and seperated. Ash trio went to home and Sam ans Vivi eant to Sam's home.

Sam's parent were very happy because their son won the Indigo league and held a small dinner party at home.

Sam went back to his room after the dinner and sat on his bed. He called for system to his own status, the points added by the champion achievement and past two achievements of obtaining Zapdos and obtaining all three legendary bird have made his combat power soar.
