Return Of Aegis

Chapter 23 - Recruitment (Part Two)

By process of elimination, ZeLin sent a NDA to the mason then got to looking for the 4 adventurer players. He had 999,991 applications to look at.

He got the system to filter out all the basic classes, wanting to see if there were players with hidden or unusual classes. It took the system awhile to filter and he finally had a list of 10 people to look at.

The list included:

3 mages - Spatial Mage, Gravity Mage, Necromancer

2 archers - Sniper, Arbalist

1 assassin - Shadow Assassin

4 warriors - Holy Knight, Holy Paladin, Dragon Knight, Frost Knight

Looking at the list, ZeLin wanted to accept all 10, but it was unfortunate that he only had 4 slots. Instead of sending just a NDA, ZeLin also sent a link for a conference call. As expected, all for signed and accepted the conference call. Facing the 10 of them, ZeLin welcomed them and introduced himself.

"Good day everyone, I'm ZeLin, previous guild master of Dark Empire. I thank all of you for your applications, but we currently only have 4 slots. ZeRen is the guild master and he was previously the head of Holy Empire. Now before you ask who won the last fight, we didn't fight. We're actually siblings in real life. I'm sure you know that you can't divulge this, and I trust you won't, the NDA you signed is legally binding across the world."

"For the other 6 who won't be getting a spot yet, you will be accepted in the moment the guild makes its' level 2 expansion. I only ask for your understanding on this. Currently the guild is housed in Sum City of Ind continent. You can teleport over here and begin conquests on the continent if you'd like, or you can assist us in leveling up."

"The faster we level up, the faster we can start conquests. Ind, Seb and Mal continent as you know are similar zones which most players would instantly die if they stray too far from towns. We have our reasons for choosing this inhospitable continent. I will understand if you would wish to pull out right now, knowing this information. I will not hold grudges, you may leave now if you think this place is not for you."

No one got up nor did anyone leave.

"Thank you. I expected none of you to back out, and you have done so."

"Alright, next up on the agenda, who would like to join first. Currently, we are in need of lots of materials, for alchemy, chef, masonry and smiting. Which four of you can assist with this? You will be rewarded with guild points and can use the points to exchange for gourmet food, specialty potions and weaponry. For now I can show you what we will be having up in the guild exchange."

ZeLin shared the stats of the rare [Wind Dagger] and unique [Silver Gale Blades] to the 10. The one with the biggest reaction was the assassin, "So you are the maker of those uncommon [Wind Dagger]!" said the assassin.

Nodding, ZeLin didn't hide the fact, "Yes, I made the daggers and these blades, I'll be making more once I get enough ingredients. Ind continent is famous for its' fire element ores, if I can get more, I can start making explosive or burst damage equipment!"

ZeLin noticed the Necromancer was getting bored of the conversation, so he posted the details for the spell book and blood orb set. The necromancer immediately set up at attention and stared at the items like a hungry wolf.

"I will!" said the Dragon Knight.

"Me too!" said the Spatial Mage.

"Me three!" said the Shadow Assassin.

"Me four!" said the Necromancer.

"Alright, for the remaining six, continue your leveling, spread the name of Yggdrasil via server achievement announcements and I will personally send you the guild invites once we level up."

ZeLin then accepted the four, and bid the six goodbye. After the six left the conference call, ZeLin informed the four to start farming where ever they were and to mail their materials to the guild mailbox.

Depending on the rarity of the material, points will be allocated differently. Rare materials for example, would earn them 10 points per item, as compared to common materials, where each stack of 100 would then earn them the same amount of guild points.

After allocating their work, ZeLin bid them farewell and proceeded to welcome the lifestyle players, they should have arrived at Sum City by now.

ZeLin waited at the teleportation station, 15 minutes later, a player appeared, the first to arrive was Sim. She stumbled out of the teleportation circle and face planted right in front of ZeLin. It happened so fast, ZeLin couldn't even respond.

They made small talk as they waited for the chef and mason to arrive. Soon the mason too arrived, he was called ShenYeat. After brief introductions they waited another 30 minutes but WeiMing still had not come. Concerned, ZeLin sent him a message, asking why he hadn't arrived.

WeiMing replied almost instantly, "Erm, I don't have enough silver to use the teleport station."

Facepalming, ZeLin mailed WeiMing 50 silvers.

5 minutes passed, then the final member arrived.
