Rise of the Cosmic_Emperor

Chapter 839: Mediocre Force?

The room that was now reality warped to contain every bit of luxury fit for all the individuals inside was witness to the coming together of the Phoenix Clan and Devil Tribe in two different pairs.

While they awaited Hal to commence the next round of their enjoyable sessions, Alvira and Elenor wrestled each other to the ground where they commenced to touch each other and taste what they had both gotten from Hal's wonderful cock.

On the bed, Hal had brought Phaedra to many orgasmic climaxes and was now shifting seamlessly between the lined-up pussies of both Elenor and Phaedra so that their climaxes were synched and added more to their ongoing grinding motions on each other.

Never did Hal take the session to the Harem space but he did warp time within the room.

The time warp never shut off the sexual sounds though and for the next day, the entire Phoenix clan was treated to the sounds of pleasure that never seized, and within the time warp, the four women were treated to a Ten-day long Orgy at the end of which they still craved more but just lacked the energy to continue.

Hal's enjoyment was both in the fact that he had absolutely enjoyed himself as well as the fact that he had received more exotic and powerful essence to stock up for his coming advancement.

...

The Imperial City...

The Royal Academy...

Melinda finally returned to the grounds after so long and she ignored anything related to Guilds and made a beeline for the Empress' office as Principal or the Academy.

Harlyn welcomed Melinda with open arms and a smile which had Melinda furrowing her brows with a smile even though she did not comment on what she believed was the reason the Empress was so welcoming.

To be fair, Harlyn was always very fond of her and there was no need to invoke Hal's name to explain why she was putting aside the obvious fact that Melinda was against her Family's hegemony.

"Why return for the scrolls? You obviously have so many resources at your disposal" The Empress asked with obvious vocal gesturing at how much Melinda had improved in a year.

"I do have a lot of resources at my disposal but I am making certain moves... Making a certain sort of progress that requires self-discovery.

By the way, is that bitterness I hear in your tone?" Melinda asked.

"In regards to what exactly?" Harlyn asked.

"In regards to the resources, I have access to. I can contact Hal for you, I'm sure he'll be happy to introduce you to his resources" Melinda said with a suggestive wink as she waved her hand and summoned a chessboard.

"Don't bother. He apparently does not have time for me at the moment. He has already told me to be patient." Harlyn said with a sigh and Melinda chuckled before she asked,

"Will you like to go first?"

"Sure," Harlyn said and the board turned so that the white pieces were in front of her instead.

She made the first move and then said,

"You can have any of the scripts. I have been finding them unsatisfactory in the face of my anticipation for what Hal has to offer."

"That's to be expected," Melinda told her and made her move.

They made more moves, Melinda lost more pieces than the Empress but had now put her in a check when the Empress sighed,

"I want the best for my daughter," she said and escaped the check.

"That's sudden, " Melinda said and pursued yet another check.

"Hmm is it? Well, I don't discourage her ambitions. Ambitions can be good motivators although I fear she might be going off the deep end and I don't mean her morals. I mean, the length she is ready to go to defend the glory of the Haron family." Harlyn said and escaped the check but at the loss of a chess piece.

"I would say you should caution her but I guess you are still in your own dilemma about where your loyalties lie," Melinda said.

"It is a dilemma indeed. Checkmate!" she announced to Melinda's wide-eyed surprise.

"What? That came out of nowhere" Melinda said.

"You weren't paying enough attention," Harlyn said with a light smile.

"Yeah, probably because of your- Ah, you were trying to distract me" Melinda realized.

"Maybe," Harlyn said with a shrug and rearranged the board to commence another game with Melinda making the first move this time instead of her.

"Everything I said is true though" the Empress added,

"I know," Melinda told her with a mellow nod before she initiated a check the very next second.

...

While their game was ongoing, the Doxon Duchy Palace received Visitors in the form of enraged Harons led by the gem-powered Princess, Tanya Haron.

The attacks were sudden but experts of the Doxon family sprung quickly into action and it was only when they physically appeared that Tanya made a loud declaration,

"Kill every Doxon. Make your way up to the top of their hierarchy and cut them ALL DOWN!" she announced to the thousand Haron men and women she had brought with her

The announcement was phrased for her army but it was meant to be intimidating to the Herons who were the target.

The battle became brutal almost immediately but the bulk of the Doxon forces situated themselves at Svetlana's residence since Tanya had told her men to work their way up the hierarchy.

Svetlana was indisposed at the moment. Still suffering from her trip to the Nether realm and she needed their protection.

Tanya came upon the bulk of the forces with her Monument-gem glowing brightly and heralding the display of power that was about to occur.

The only stealthy part of Tanya's attack on the Doxon Duchy Palace was her arrival. Her actual action was meant to be loud and vocal.

One and two-star Cosmic saints were at the forefront of the forces around Svetlana's residence and they wasted no time striking out at Tanya with cosmic attacks all with the intensity to strike and kill.

As Tanya slammed her palms together to conjure a multi-colored shield from the energy of her Monument-gem, she noted that none of the Doxon men even tried to reason with her. They were ready to strike and kill... To battle her as an enemy right from the start.

Sure, it was clear that Tanya had come with hostility but as a Haron, the Doxons should have tried to pacify whatever anger she had come with to stop a possible misunderstanding from getting worse but these men and women were ready to kill her as an enemy.

Misunderstanding or not, the Doxons clearly saw her, a Haron, as an enemy.

Her Conjured shield absorbed all attacks and sent them right back with the ingredient required for the attacks to kill their senders.

There were a lot of explosions in the air but the Doxon forces survived only for one to find himself stabbed by a multicolored sword wielded by Tanya who had closed in on him before he could blink.

Tanya summoned a second sword and decapitated the Doxon man to kick his head at another Doxon expert who could not avoid getting hit by the decapitated head that promptly exploded and killed her and another expert close to her.

Having made short work of those three Doxons, Tanya ignored the others to use her perception to note Svetlana's Prone self after which she blast open a hole in the roof to land a right in the room by the side of the Duchess' bed.

Tanya had her hands holding her two multicolored swords and she approached Svetlana's body.

For a brief second, Tanya entertained the thought of how much she used to respect Svetlana, the Blue-eyed witch, especially in the case of her Rune-Mastering but then she raised her weapon and made to strike only to be interrupted by a cosmic attack thickly constituted of a deathly essence.

*BOOM!*

*BANG!*

The attack struck Tanya and smacked her through a wall and out of the room where she was quickly joined by Kirill who struck her with the pressure of his cultivation alone and it tossed her up in the air where he met her and delivered a kick to the back of her head and sent her face first into the ground of the Palace courtyard.

Tanya's fall formed a crater in the Palace grounds but of course, she was quickly stirring and her Monument-gem promptly cleansed her of the deathly essence that had corrupted her body.

"Who the hell do you think you are?" Kirill asked as he floated two feet off the ground with his arms folded in superiority.

Like all Doxons who had sprung to fight without trying to reason with Tanya and her horde of Harons, Kirill was here to fight and here to kill by order of their new Lord.

Why would Kirill or any others, for that matter, be confused that they were attacked after they already declared to the Imperial Family that they were now on the side of the Sapphirine Cult?

"You think you can take the Doxon family with such a mediocre force," Kirill asked with a smirk, looking like he was settling nicely into being beneath Hal.

As Kirill spoke, the Elders of the Doxon Family, who had been on Hal's side before Kirill, and were ranging from Seven stars to Nine stars emerged to put the Harons in their place.

The Doxons who had fought so far and had been pushed back and had seen their brethren die were now grinning with confidence. And why would they not feel confident?

The strongest of the Harons was only at the fourth star of the Cosmic Saint Realm. Or so they thought...

"Who do I think I am?" Tanya asked with a maniacal chuckle as she rose in her crater,

"I'm Tanya Haron, heir apparent to the throne of the Haron Empire, and charged with putting you all in your place..."

As she spoke, a good number of Haron experts began to showcase cultivation stronger than what they had shown off so far, and then they all received bolstering from Tanya's Monument-gem and charged up at the Elders with pressures that caused the Doxon Elders to flinch as one.

"... Charged with teaching you the consequences of going against the Imperial Family!"
