"What? When?"

Meanwhile, in Ishikara, Noa's massage session was interrupted by a shocking piece of news from Teru.

"Just a few hours ago" 

Noa quickly stood from his massage table and wrapped a towel around himself as he motioned the masseurs to leave the room.

"Was he there?"

"No, your highness, our spies saw only Warren and Loren, the siblings who oversee Emir "

"Hang those trashes, if we only hear this after they rooted the water spirit, then what's the point of having trained spies I could have used the peasants to do this "

"As you wish, your highness, but this is not only the news they sent your highness"

"What else?"

Seeing the worried expressions on his face, Noa frowned

"What is it?"

"Lady Lara did the rooting ritual, your highness, and the entire Emir was under the protection charm of Cold Moon Palace during the ritual"

"WHAT?!"

Noa's heart skipped a beast when he heard this as he grabbed the water jug and poured the water into the mouth.

After he finished the jug, he took a deep breath and asked

"What's the connection between Emir and Cold Moon Palace? Why did they protect them?"

"I don't know, your highness but I'm positive that the Cold Moon Palace dont know our involvement in the ambush"

Teru expressed his opinion as Noa's body loosened a bit in relief

"You're right, but I want to know what Don's relationship with the Sect, I don't want them to come knocking on my castle door after those freaks gave me Emir"

"First we need to get the Weludin from them, your highness, I know how much you want that pill"

"Those freaks better deliver what they promised, I spent a portion of the treasury funding their ambush plan "

"But it's all worth the coins, isn't it, your highness? Don would have reached the Heavenly Level, possibly expanded his kingdom, and became a threat to us"

"Of course he would have, that's why I funded those freaks who were hell-bent on killing him, I wonder what he did to piss off those freaks?"

As he was saying this, he made his way to his chamber to get dressed up and wait for the masked freaks who promised to deliver the Weludin pill to him.

Considering he knew the power of the black-armored soldiers of Don, he had never left the castle fearing someone would assassinate him and until he was sure that no one doubts him, he decided to stay indoors. And the freaks were generous enough to provide him the security arrays to prevent anyone from attempting to take his life.

After a few hours, instead of the familiar masked freaks, Teru's cousin came rushing into the throne hall.

"Your Highness, I have important news that you'd like to hear"

Teru's cousin was a youngster in the late twenties and had a slim body with long hair. On his white robes, there were three letters embroidered 'MFA' aka Majestic Furnace Alchemists.

"Rio, didn't I tell you to inform me before coming to the castle?"

Although Noa seemed harmless and weird, he knew that Noa is extremely cruel and he didn't want any of his family members to get near him, yet, his cousin barged into the castle walking through all those arrays to meet him.

"Your highness, there's someone at the shop who has Weludin!"

Rio didnt answer Teru but said as his face was filled with excitement thinking about the rewards that he would receive from Noa.

"What did you say?"

Noa immediately stood from his throne as it was on fire and his face was filled with shock and surprise.

"Yes!, yes, your highness, two people from Star empire came to our shop to sell some core strengthening pills and in their collocation, there was a Weludin pill"

"Where is it? Give it to me!"

The mere mention of the pill made Noa's mind go crazy as he now looked like a hungry dog that saw a juicy piece of meat in front of it.

"Your highness, they said no to us when we asked them if they are planning to sell it but if you were to meet them, I'm sure that your highness can get the pill from them"

"Where are they now?"

"At the shop, your highness, shall I tell them that you wish to see them?"

"Teru, go with your cousin and bring them to me now! "

"Yes, your highness"

(A several hours ago)

"Come on girl, get on top of me!"

In a dark room, a man was handcuffed to the bedposts and lying on the bed half-naked. The only light source in the room was a couple of scented candles as a beautiful girl was standing before him.

The girl was none other than Amaryll and the man was the runemaster who controls the lie detector array.

"Just a few seconds, darling, it'll be worth a wait, I promise"

The runemaster could only hear her sweetly seductive voice because she made him wear the eye cover for a little role play.

"When you open your eyes, there will be a treat waiting for you "

"I'm so going to enjoy this!"

The runemaster couldn't hold his excitement. Amaryll rolled her eyes as she took the butter knife which he was keeping in the room for some reason other than spreading butter on bread.

"In position, send the shorties"

She said silently after closing the curtains in the room. The runemaster suddenly felt a little vibration in the room but when a soft hand touched his face, he forgot about it and tried to lick the hand.

"Hehe, naughty boy"

Amaryll let out a fake giggle and then in a second, the darkroom was filled with more than two people as the dwarves finally appeared in the room.

(A few hours before the events in Noa's castle)

In the apex room of Everlight castle, the magical fluctuations were skyrocketing and the surrounding life energy was violently rushing into the room.

"She's breaking through!"

"Reduce energy input! Catalie, cast the spell now!"

Ken was shouting and running around the hall to make sure that Arrora came out of this unharmed. During her breakthrough attempt, they had to mix a lot of healing potion with the bound energy that was absorbed by her to keep her magical core from exploding.

Other than the healing potion, Kayako concocted many core strengthening pills, core stabilizing potions using a lot of rare and precious herbs, so it could be injected into her and keep her from dying horribly.

Simply, they used millions worth of resources to ensure Arrora's safety, and fortunately, Uncle Dior didn't know about this or he would have died in a heart attack knowing the amount they had spent in the few two days.

The violent life energy from the outside was cut down when a golden sphere appeared around the room as they waited for Arrora to open her eyes.

With Catalie's spell, they had done everything in their power to ensure her safety, and now it all depends on Arrora's willpower to survive her reckless attempt of breaking through to the Heavenly level.

And suddenly a powerful burst of bound energy blasted everyone and everything in the room as Catalie was quick enough to save everything from getting destroyed with a spell.

"She did it!"

Catalie shouted looking at the powerful magical fluctuations around her body.

"Arwen, Kayako, Arrora reached the Heavenly level, it won't be too long before she comes to Ishikara"

Reghys reminded both Arwen and Kayako about this so they would hurry to get the proof they needed from Noa.

(An hour ago)

"Don't move"

Kayako and Arwen were standing still as a golden light scanned them from top to bottom under the gazes of hundreds of soldiers. Most of them wore full metal plate armor while some groups wore flexible armor and had staff in their hands.

Kayako's heart thumped against her chest while the light was scanning her. Because this was the first time she wore the magical mask to change her face and she feared the array might reveal their true faces.

And after a few seconds, the light disappeared as the mage who oversaw the array nodded his head.

"You can go forward"

Kayako heaved a sigh of relief and followed Arwen to the next level where she saw a group of people who had various devices and tools around them.

"Reveal your cultivation"

One of the men said while holding an umbrella-like device at them. Arwen and Kayako took a deep breath and released their magical fluctuations and trusted the glimmer to manipulate them.

"Don't worry, just be relax"

Benedict's voice sounded in their ears as the Energy tracers kept looking at their various devices before finally nodding their heads.

"Peak Masters"

The man said and motioned them to proceed forward as Arwen and Kayako walked towards the most troublesome array, the lie detector array of the ancients. However, unlike a few minutes ago, both of them looked relaxed.

"Do you wish to harm her highness Noa?"

The man who asked this was the same man who was tied onto the bed in the darkroom. But the man in front of them was not the same but Joel who was wearing the mask to look like the runemaster.

"No"

The tablet Joel was holding shined red for a moment but he quickly drew a small rune he learned from Nicolas as the tablet let out green light.

"Are you planning anything that could or would bring harm to her highness and her kingdom?"

"No"
