Lea: Gin, come on, hurry!! Its eight fifty five, we're gonna be late!!

They all rush out of the room to Class, with Team JNPR and RWBY.

In the courtyard, Professor Ozpin and Glynda Goodwitch watch the three teams hurry through the school. Glynda looks at her watch, and Ozpin simply sips his coffee.

The sight of an axe-blunderbuss weapon pans down to the boards displaying various species of Grimm - King Taijitu, Death Stalker, Beowolf, Boarbatusk, Nevermore, and Ursa - behind an elderly teacher named Peter Port.

Port: Children, I welcome you back to these halls, Now then, Monsters! Deeeemons... Prowlers of the night! Yes, the creatures of Grimm have many names, but I merely refer to them as prey! Ha-ha!

The members of RWBY, seated on the front row, are in varying stages of interest; Blake and Yang are sitting up and paying attention, Weiss is taking notes, and Ruby has her head propped in her hand as she takes a quick nap until she is woken back up by Port's bad joke, which receives a cricket-filled silence as a result, while The members of GALE, seated on the back row, are sitting listening closly.....Except Lea who is napping.

Gin: {I don't get it?}

Port: Uhhhh... (cough) And you shall too, upon graduating from this prestigious academy! Now, as I was saying: Vale, as well as the other three kingdoms, are safe havens in an otherwise treacherous world! Our planet is absolutely teeming with creatures that would love nothing more than to tear you to pieces! And that's where we come in. Huntsmen! Huntresses... (gives Yang a wink, which she groans uncomfortably at) Individuals who have sworn to protect those who cannot protect themselves! From what, you ask? Why, the very world!

Lea: (wakes up and raises his fist) Ayyyy-yehh! (stands like this for a moment as everyone looks at him strangely before sitting down, embarrassed)

Aria:{Idiot....}

Gin: {Hahaha!}

Port: That is what you are training to become. But first, what you do know!

He makes a grandious movement and raises a hand to point at the wall behind him, where a giant poster of a a Grimm hangs.

Port: For our enemy is restless. Relentless. And always up for feasting on scrumptious human morsels. Even in the comfort of our homes, even in our most private moments.

Gin:{Well thats not ominous at all!}

Port: Why, for example, i remember one time...

I almost jumps out of my seat as a large portion of the class lets out a collective groan.

Lea: (Whispers) Oh no, i heard rumors that when mister Port talks about the past he go for hours!

Elenor: (Whispers) What!?

Gin: (Whispers) Oh yeah... {Almost forgot about that....wish i rememberd sooner.}

Port: There i was, deep in enemy territory, having just felled a particularly stron adversary. It was a long and hard fought battle, But that's another story for another time.

Student: Thank you, gods!!

Port: And you young man are staying after class!

Student: What!? Awww man!

Everyone had a small laughter and then continue's to listen.

Port: As i was saying, I was so satisfied with my catch that i decided to help myself with a bag of a fine blend of Vacuo tea! A boiling kettle and a whistle later, And behold, i was about to enjoy my piece of nirvana!

Gin: {.....He indeed likes to talk alot.}

Port: But alas, soon a new enemy appeared to chastize me for my mistake! Even though my immediate surroundings had been cleared by my own hand, an Oppel Grimm (Bat like monster) swopped down from the sky! Quick my hand went to my weapon, swiftly holding up to shield myself from the beast's mighty dive!!....

[Few Hours Later]

Port: And behold, my enemy was defeated and faded at my feet!!

Gin:{Oh. My. God!!! That went on for so long!!}

Port: That experience taught me many things, witch i saw fit to share with you today!

Gin: {Okey he's done, finaly!}

Port: Now then children, what was it that attracted the Oppel to me?

Gin: {What!?}

Everyone was confused, becase his story telling was so long, not many got the question.

Gin: Hmm um was the lesson about the Grimm's sense of smell, professor Port?

Port: Oh-oh! A valiant effort young man, but you fell for my trap! But you get an A for trying!

Weiss: i got it professor, The Oppel is a Grimm shaped like a bat and just like their animal counterparts they have bad eyesight but incredible hearing, and locate their prey with echolocation. So the sound of the kettle must have attracted it!

Port: Well done, Miss Schnee, and it looks like that's all the time we have for today, Children! I encourage you to review and possibly deepen your knowledge about the Grimm, have a Bountiful day!

Yang: Hahaha, i will steal the last part on what he said!

Gin: Well i'm famished!

Weiss: Um Gin?

Gin: Hmm? Yes Weiss?
