after that incident, Ethan was called by ozpin who gave him an offer to join beacon, at first, Ethan refused, he had better things to do than studying in a school, however, ozpin then gave him the offer of becoming a teacher at the beacon,

it was a very tempting offer, he could do whatever he wanted and have unlimited access to all the information that he wanted without any restrictions besides having to teach people of his age, but he did not mind, he already had experience in teaching because of how often he took care of the orphaned children from the aragami and training refugees and new god eaters how to fight, besides, a fixed monthly income, although less than what he made as a bounty hunter, was still quite a welcome thought, he soon agreed to the offer

this leads us to the current situation,

in the airship heading towards beacon, Ethan watched as the girl from before, ruby rose and what he ȧssumed to be her sister agued,

looking at ruby reminded Ether of why he had become a god eater in the first place, it was to protect innocent souls like her that he took up his blade, to kill the monsters that were hell-bent on killing all life,

as he was musing about his life, he failed to sense the red-themed girl standing in front of him,

"hello Mr.Ethan," ruby said to the startled god eater whose hands immediately went to his god ark, but then calmed down as he saw who it was,

"Hello to you too, ruby, what is it?" he said in a warm voice to the girl that was three years younger than him,

"oh, i just wanted to say hi, oh also, we have already landed," she said to which Ethan looked around in surprise to see that everyone aside from ruby and him was already gone, he then smiled towards the girl and said

"thank you ruby," he said, he had already memorized the map of beacon so that he would not get lost, so he knew exactly where the hall was,

after he picked up all his belongings and his god arc on his back, he walked out of the airship just in time to see yang take off and leave a dizzy ruby behind who then fell onto a case full of dust, he sighed and walked towards the pitiful girl being yelled at by a white-haired girl,

"could you stop that? you are causing a scene," he said to the white-haired girl,

"do you even know who i am? i-" just as the girl was about to continue, another voice interrupted,

"Weiss Schnee, the heiress of the Schnee dust company, a company that has many controversies about enslaving faunus to do the labor work"

Ethan had run into the Belladonna family about 3 months before he was invited to beacon, he was searching for his bounty target, Ghira Belladonna, who, according to his employer , was staging a rebellion against the white fang and was going to go to war against the humans, but after investigating the family, Ethan found that almost all of that information was false and the man was simply living as a chief of his village, he then returned to his employer and devoured him with his god ark, leaving no evidence behind, he then went to Ghira Belladonna, and informed him about the bounty, the faunus thanked him and introduced him to his family,

he absentmindedly led ruby and Jaune whom they had met up along the way towards a random direction,

"Mr.Ethan? are you okay?" ruby asked in concern to which Ethan shook his head and smiled,

"i am okay ruby, come on, we need to get to the hall, i don't want to be late on my first day at work," he said and led the duo to the hall,

he had already completed giving the speech to the new students and Glynda was making sure to keep an eye on them,

meanwhile, he had called his newest addition to the faculty to his office to talk to him,

in the past few months since he suddenly showed up, Ethan Flame had made a name for himself as 'the Devil' however, he had also made himself another name aside from his hidden side, 'the savior' he had earned this name when he had stopped an entire army of Grimm from attacking a remote village, while he was destroying the Grimm, a child had managed to use his scroll and capture his face, making him extremely famous among the common populace as a hero,

after meeting him in the forest, Ozpin had contacted the headmaster of Shade to confirm that the relic of destruction was still there,

after that, he had a specific crow, watch the young man as he continued to work as a bounty hunter, but the weapon he used was simply too powerful and rediculous, he had seen recordings where the weapon suddenly shifted into a minigun which blasted a wyvern type Grimm to smithereens, this was not uncommon, but then he was stupefied as a strange, diabolic looking creature came out of the weapon and devoured the Grimm,

he also received reports from his spy that, when he looked at the weapon without the boy noticing, he said that he felt as if the weapon was staring back at him, he felt tremendous power targetted towards him as if the weapon was warning him,

suddenly, the elevator to his office opened up and the said man walked forward towards the nervous reincarnator,
