Jaune had been bullied by Cardine even more, Ethan had tried to offer him ȧssistance but was turned down,

a few days later, they had traveled to the forever falls for collecting the sap of a tree, during this time, Jaune had managed to overcome Cardine and fought off the Ursa that had attacked him,

a few days later, vytal festival had begun,

Ethan used the off time he got to upgrade his god ark, he had managed to make it so that the weapon no longer needed dust to use its rocket board form, however just as he completed his upgrades, he got a call from Pyrrha,

"Ethan!, ruby and the others are missing, i went to their dorms to talk with blake but i could not find them," she said worriedly to which Ethan sighed,

soon, he found Ruby, Blake and another unknown girl along with a monkey faunus in the docks, he was just in time to see the unknown girl bring all of the bullheads down by herself,

that night, he gave team RWBY a serious talk about gong out of the dorms at odd hours,

in the headmaster's room, beacon,

Ozpin was sitting in his chair with a thoughtful look as Glynda stood by his side and Ethan in front of him,

"what is it Ozpin?" he asked to which Ozpin replied,

"i was contacted by Qrow, he has found evidence that our enemy is here," he said to which Ethan nodded,

he understood why Ozpin was telling him this, Ozpin had a doubt that given how zealous Ironwood was these days, he may try to do something stupid, so he wanted Ethan's help in trying to find any clues to their enemy discretely,

a few days later, he found team RWBY along with a couple of kids from Vacuo fighting the paladin stolen from Atlas,

"Seriously, how do you guys always manage to get in trouble" he mumbled, he watched as yang managed to break one of its arms, he had seen enough and jumped down from the building to intervene,

the black devil transformed into its minigun form,

Ethan used his god arc to completely decimate the machine but torchwick managed to get away,

for the next few days, no one would see Ethan
